I think the 11 inch one is available on Amazon right now at a fair price.

It’s cheaper on the Modem Quests website after the 5% off + no Amazon commission. I’m getting it for uni and that doesn’t start until September so only reason I’m holding off is because I’m considering getting it from UK itself instead of here since it’s like 33 pounds there vs 4400 or so here. And there are other sling bags to consider. But thank you looking out ✌?

Need suggestions for an everyday bag.

Basic requirements are one dedicated section for laptop and one for major bulk like charger, books etc. More pockets and sub-sections (chained) are a plus.

Not looking for something which looks like Ghost bags.

If you want an easy-access EDC, this is a good option. i'm considering the 11 inch version myself: https://www.modernquests.com/products/croxbody-edc-sling-bag-black-14-inch?_pos=17&_sid=f8e3ee997&_ss=r

There's also this one from HP that I currently use (although only the Grey/Green and Black/Green colourway seems to be available now. Looks good in all black)

    https://www.amazon.in/HP-T5P98AA-Backpack-15-6-inch-Electric/dp/B01J1CFNKE?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid=AEBV3Q6INLQZC&th=1

Has dedicated laptop and tablet pockets. Dedicated space for powerbank with passthrough, internal pocket for water bottle, mesh for storage, multiple handles, and a secret pocket. It also has a whole back pocket that I didn't know about for like 8 months until I tried opening the secret pocket and the zip went farther along than usual.

I've also been seeing ads from this brand called CarryPro which has a really cool range of bags too https://carrypro.in/

Sonia  I guess you meant Sonos Roam, it is a very good option, I have never tried it but the general consensus is pretty good. Check out B&O Beosound A1 (2nd Gen) another very good speaker for around 17-19k depending on the offers, a friend has it and I love the sound it is very rich. It doesn't get as loud as the Sonos I am sure but for uni I don't think you need a speaker that gets very loud. I have a Bose Soundlink Revolve and I think it is pretty neutral definitely not as bass heavy as say a JBL or Sony.

If I were you I would stretch my budget a little and get the B&O, maybe go try it out at a store (Reliance Digital/Vijay Sales)

    Fkn autocorrect ?

I’ll check out the B&O for sure.

Edit: I remember seeing the B&O in a comparison video for the Soundlink Flex and Roam. I liked the form factor. I’ll def check how it sounds as well.

How portable do you want it to be ? Like it should fit inside your backpack ? UE Wonderboom series of speakers are very compact and has impressive sound for its size. You can also pair 2 of them and they can work in stereo. JBL Flip 6 is also a solid no nonsense option (will be slightly base heavy). Soundcore Motion series are also very well regarded (haven't tried this one). And if budget permits and you are looking for a slightly neutral sound then check out the B&O or Bose speakers.

I’d want it to fit in a backpack but it would also sit on my desk just as much. I’m getting this for uni so durability is also a factor (waterproofing, build quality etc)

I’ll check your reccos! Idk if I wanna get 2 UE Booms for the stereo though.

I was checking the reviews for the Bose Soundlink Flex and they said the sound was bass- forward rather than neutral though. Is it just that speaker or did you have a particular model in mind?

Was also looking into the Sonos Roam. It’s on sale for 16500 with card offers on FK. Really tempting but idk too much about it

  6. Not exactly about headphones but I didn’t see a thread for it, so here goes

I’m looking to buy a portable speaker. My current budget is 15k but I could be compelled to raise it slightly more. Are there any good options y’all could recommend?

Got it. It seems to me like Spotify is more of a habit than anything else and that's perfectly fine. There is something called New Music Mix on the Listen Now tab that gets refreshed every Friday and is curated specifically to your listening habits. There is obviously separate app for podcasts and I personally prefer to keep both my music and podcasts separate and this arrangement suits me. What takes the cake for me is the Hi-res and spatial options on apple music for the given price of subscription. Spotify is severely lagging in this. Infact Apple One is one of the most VFM sub that I pay for. They are about to add apple music classical without any extra cost.

I was using Apple One until last month by topping up credits in my wallet for a year. Cancelled the plan because I’m moving abroad in a couple of months and I’ve seen that you’d need to change your region to access local apps but then that stops you from using Apple One at India prices. Gotta figure a way around.

    Finally

Also what an ending to Portugal match. So close to a monumental f**k up.

Yeah I almost stopped watching after the FH. Still think the 3rd Portugal goal was slightly offside but oh well.

Would I have liked Portugal to lose? Yes

Do I have a vested interest in Ghana getting out early to minimise risks to Thomas Partey? Also yes

Whoa...2.2kgs! That's significant weight. Very nice

Strangest thing is I don't play GoW but:

    - I have a Kratos figure on my desk
    - I have physical editions of the games

    - I'm lurking around in this thread!

    - Now I want to buy the CE Edition of this game to have that Hammer!

Nope, something tells me there is a higher calling. A calling to get into the GoW saga... from the beginning.

Yes, that is strange but no time like the present to get into the games. I think @Vamoshas a CE available unless he’s sold it already

My bad. I just weighed it before posting here but I thought 2.2 kg seemed a bit too heavy. Turns out my weighing machine was reset to measure in pounds ?

So yeah. 2.2 pounds or 1 kg

    Congratulations man!

How much does that hammer weigh because it looks beautifully crafted. What is the thing made of?

Thanks! The hammer is made of hard plastic and the grip has some faux leather ribbons. It isn’t hollow either. Has some weight to it. 2.2 pounds to be precise.

Makes sense, but reading the horror stories of PPGC I'd rather pay 500 and get peace of mind! Just my 2 cents!

Totally understandable. I found out the stories after I’d placed an order so that first time I was damn nervous too but everything turned out fine. Biggest risk I took was getting a Series X from him but that arrived ahead of schedule so I figured he’s got his act together now.

Sony games just get them from GTS, afaik they're the only ones who can ship a day before.

Only reason I don’t choose GTS for new games is because they charge full price. There’s usually a discount when buying from PPGC. They were selling GoW for 4500 and gave the free mug.

All these mx2 games PPGC are shitty for us consumers!

To be fair, PPGC has been great in Bangalore. Got the disc delivered the next day but I didn’t opt for same-day delivery. People who did, got it same day as well
