Yeah, I called Mx2 yesterday to see if some discount is possible on CE. He asked me to wait till today since price would be dropping to 20k. On the fence rn but I just might end up buying from them since there’s really not been much news from the bigger sellers about the CE. That Game Proz guy shared screenshot of his conversation with the Sony guy where it was mentioned no more allocation so I’m tempted to believe it

Apparently there were just 50 units in the first (and alleged only) allocation. They went to local retailers according to the guy I spoke to. I’d also spoken to Console Garage when he advertised Regalla for 16.8 and he said there might be a second allocation but now not so sure.
If it doesn’t show up at ShopAtSC, I might just buy from Mx2. I wanted to get it from Amazon US itself and it would have cost that much so getting it for 12.5 would have been a bonus for me.

Highly likely. He was quick to tell me that imported piece will be available for 20-23k. Hopefully, like @Vamossaid, ShopAtSC gets official stock

Exactly. He took mine. Then said it’s sorted. Then said allocation issue so he’s requested more units. Then said allocations are over and that there are no more units coming. Refunded money. Then mentioned imported unit will cost 20-23k.

Is it? The seller I was talking to said Sony told him no more units are being officially imported/allocated. But I'll check ShopAtSc and hopefully they have an official launch

What's a good RO water purifier to purchase? I'll be moving to a new house in Bangalore and would prefer installing a purifier than ordering Bisleri cans repeatedly.

We used it with a set top box for a year and a half it’s been more than a year now since we stopped using set top box but I can see the set top box company’s logo when the screen is fully white. So yeah be careful with static images other than that it’s all good.

Oh, cool. I don't plan on hooking it up to a PC or set-top box so that avoids most of the static image worries. i'll just ensure that I don't leave games on the pause screen too long with the TV on then.

That's quite shady. They've also given 1 year insurance, so that should cover burn in, no?

3 years comprehensive warranty + 1 year insurance included in the price. Yes, the warranty covers burn-in issues

I loved the ANC and sound quality. But I developed tinnitus after using them so had to sell them. Never had the problem with XM3 but it apparently was an issue with those too. YMMv but this seems to be a prevalent issue.
Edit: nvm I realised you’re talking about the in-ears and not the cans. Sony needs a better naming scheme for the headphones as well as TV’s smh

Yeah, they took 6k. They'll reduce that from the price when they bill the item on my card. I'm currently not in Bangalore and I needed it delivered on the 24th (moving back to Bangalore after 2 years), so they took a booking amount to confirm the purchase. I'll visit the store on the day of and check the TV for any signs of it being a demo unit. Thanks for the heads up!

Indeed. And I confirmed that Mx2 is selling Indian unit at 20k. I called him to ask if the “imported” unit can be used on an Indian account since CE comes with a game code and not disc. He told me it’ll be an Indian unit that’ll be available at 20k so it should work fine. Got further confirmation when the Game Proz seller told me that 1 out of the 3 CE units he had was sold to Mx2.
