    street kings was a super flop...although the acting was good by forest whittaker

     

    Might be a flop at the BO but the movie kicked a*s. Say what you wanna say about Keanu, despite his limited acting skills he can carry an action movie. I seriously cannot imagine The Matrix without him.

    I read about the Bollywood version but it's probably not a copy/remake of CCoBB. I don't think it's about aging backwards but more of a "flashback" kind of movie.

     

    CCoBB was a good movie but as far as Fincher's work goes, for me it's still behind Fight Club, Se7en and Zodiac. I don't really consider his other movies besides those and CCoBB as "good". The production values are top notch though and the CGI/make-up was flawless.

    ^^ Well since they've thrown pretty much all that was canon with the Wolverine origin story out of the window, all I'm looking forward to is the action and VFX. And from the looks of the trailer, it looks pretty good!

    saw smokin aces, total waste of time :)

     

    I loved Smokin' Aces. It's not a perfect movie and tried hard to be a cross between a John Woo and a Guy Ritchie movie. Still, a good cast, enough quirky characters, pointless dialog and decent action towards the end. The score was pretty good too. And did I mention Alicia Keys was smokin' hot?

     

     

    Saw one watchmen poster at Fame Lido - Bangalore... a couple of weeks ago... just said coming soon.

     

    So maybe there is still hope...

    Besides, aside from the Dr Manhattan nudity there is nothing to cut in the film.

     

    What about the scenes in Nite Owl's basement? :panic:

     

    Also I've read that much of the brutality (especially when Rorsharch is around) is retained in the movie.

     

    And finally there's Dr. Manhattan in all this blue glowing glory...

    @MT, if you hated the first Pink Panther, stay away from this one! It's the first one plus 10 times the stupidity... then again, I enjoyed the first one for what it was and not in comparison to the old ones.

     

    @bul, yeah the first one was better... some scenes were totally unnecessary in this one.

     

     

    BTW, also watched The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button this weekend. Long winded but a very well made movie. Kudos to the production design team. The story itself is very good albeit a little sad... especially towards the end.
