Will be watching Blindness this weekend at the cinema. Worth it or should I make an excuse and duck out?
Critics weren't too kind on it but it feels a lot like Children of Men... so I might give it a shot as well.

watched two movies- Crank and The day the earth stood still, didn't like crank coz it felt like B-grade type action flick, btw found Tdtess to be a good science fiction movie.
You hated Crank and like TDTESS??

I figured the story out in the like the first 10 -20 mins. But its still a good watch. Watch it with your gf / bf / beast friend / vegetable.
Its nice.

^^ I can tolerate stuff like that in games like UC, Mirror's Edge or PoP... not in GOW.
That one section with balancing on narrow beams with spinning blades irritated the hell out of me.

watched Max Payne, ok ok ok it has some demons and all but thats the after effects of taking drugs and hey news flas Uncharted:DF also had creatures so, does that make that game suck huh? does it?
i liked the movie nice ending and all, 4/5, nothing ground breaking there...
Max Payne was an average movie. I didn't hate it... it got the atmosphere of the game right and the musical score was pretty cool. However there are just so many things wrong about it. The game had a much better and more compelling story and dialogue. They left out the mob, Vinni Gognitti, Alfred Woden and many other great characters. Lupino was hardly menacing (he was a total psycho in the game), it's a shame because the actor who played him was a good casting choice. Lastly, the movie needed MORE ACTION.

@pushy, Eagle Eye came out in Fall '08. Also, I found the ending sequence very similar to Get Smart as well!
Watched Outlander today... decent flick. Kinda like a mix of Predator, Beowulf and The 13th Warrior. Watch it only if you have nothing else to do. I found it to be a bit unnecessarily long though...

As far as the graphics go, they should focus on making it look more artistic than realistic... a la the new Prince of Persia. We have enough realistic looking games... KZ2, UC2, Heavy Rain.

rise of lycan ,,is it released in india yet or u watched it on net or downloaded??
Released last friday... watched it in the theaters.
I normally don't download movies unless there's absolutely no other way to get them.

@bul... now watch the ROTK EE... it's easily the best extended version of all three!
BTW, watched Underworld: Rise of the Lycans last night. It's pretty good and a worthy addition to the series (definitely better than the second one). But if you didn't like the first two there's nothing here that's gonna change your opinion. I hated the choppy fight scenes and there was a little crappy CGI towards the end. But overall an pretty enjoyable B-movie for genre fans.

Batman Begins was my favorite super-hero/comic book flick before TDK. Both are great movies but TDK works better as a crime saga more than a superhero flick. TDK is right up there with The Godfather, Goodfellas, Heat and The Departed.
