^^ Snatch is one of my all time favorites. I can NEVER get bored of that movie!
As for Death Race, I don't think Anderson had the budget for 50 car mayhem... Still the whole movie (except for the first 30 mins) is one big action sequence. Also, they had to change the setting of the movie to a prison to keep up with the times. The original Death Race 2000 had the race set on the road and the contestants actually won more credits by running over civilians (Carmageddon style). That kinda stuff would definitely wouldn't work with today's rating system.

Shoot 'Em Up was alright but it's still my least favorite "mindless action flick". It was more of a spoof. For a mindless action movie to work it should take itself at least a little bit seriously. Among the recent ones Crank, Transporter and Wanted did that perfectly. Shoot 'Em Up had some moments which would make Rajnikant blush (the way Owen kills Giamatti in the end was totally nuts).

I saw Death Race - meh
Why!? Lots of explosions, gunfire, blood, gore, cars crashing, a hot chick and Jason Statham... what's not to love? It was one of the best mindless action flicks I've seen lately. Ordered the blu-ray last week...

Any of you guys played 'Call of Juarez' on PCs on highest settings with 4xAA and 16xAF? I am using PC version here as I've never played the 360 version and PC version looked better so. It was really an underrated game in my opinion. It had super awesome graphics and really engrossing gameplay and the feel of wild west was captured brilliantly.
I am not saying Red dead wont be better than that but Call of Juarez at least looked better than this one thats for sure.
And Reverend Ray was such a badass!!
The game is so very underrated...

I must say I quite enjoyed the SP campaign of the first one. Hey, it was no COD but it was good fun. Blowing stuff up never gets old...

You guys must simply give a listen to "Poets of the Fall". I've gotten hooked onto them hard, to the extent that I've purchased all of their albums (iTunes, nobody in Mumbai seemed to have their CDs). Simply brilliant for rock fans.

^^ Like a lot of other stuff in the movie, it's not explained. But that's the part I liked the most. The movie had zero exposition and concentrated more on what's happening rather than why it's happening. It put the viewer in the place of a bystander instead of a hero.
PS: Did you notice they showed a dead army guy with a huge hole in his torso right before
the girl "exploded".

If it wasn't for the 'Blair Witch Project' presentation, the movie would have been just another monster movie, something like Roland Emmerich's Godzilla remake.

I would've enjoyed it more if they didn't show a close up of the monster.
I agree... somehow the part where
the camera guy is killed
just felt out of place. The movie should have ended after the helicopter crash.

^^ Awesome! Some of the artwork reminds me of Fallout 3.
BTW, finally watched CLOVERFIELD last night. Loved it. The sound design is what stood out most for me, if you have a decent HT setup then this movie is a must in your collection. Some of the set pieces where you actually see the monster in full glory were pretty awesome as well as the creepy scene in the subway tunnels. Oh yeah and did I mention the girls in the movie were hot?

Alright here's what I found on IMDB. Apparently the Constructicons and yes DEVASTATOR will be in the movie!
The Decepticon team, the Constructicons, who transform into construction vehicles and combine to form the giant robot, Devastator, are set to appear in this film. The name "Devastator" was mistakenly given to a Decepticon, who transforms into a tank, in the first film. (The tank Decepticon was originally intended to be named "Brawl".) And one of the Constructicons in the animated series, was originally named "Bonecrusher". Bonecrusher was also a Decepticon featured in the first film. Both of whom were killed off. Writer Roberto Orci, has stated that neither of those two Decepticons featured in the first film, will be resurrected for this film though. -
^^ Really? I couldn't see Megatron... the one threatening Sam is Starscream.
The Fallen is actually going to be a new character in the movie. I'm not so sure if Devastator will be in it though, the first movie had Devastator (although he was actually Brawl). And yes Arcee is in the movie, her disguise will most probably be a bike.

That's all I'm expecting from G.I. Joe honestly. A mindless popcorn action flick with ridiculous action and lots of explosions.
As for F&F, I'll watch it for Michelle Rodriguez & Jordana Brewster if nothing else... looks like a fun movie though.
@bul... Spock and Kirk are gonna have a fistfight in the Star Trek movie...... yeah... I know.

^^ Of course MP co-op is gonna be there! There's no way in hell Blizzard would leave out one of the most popular features of D2! Also, the loot in co-op will be class specific, you'll only find loot which is applicable to your class, so no more fighting over loot with your buddies!

The Audi R8 is probably Wheeljack.
Megs/Galvatron aren't in the trailer but Starscream is.
And yes, there will be a Pretender in the movie, played by some blonde chick named Isabel Lucas.
Also rumours are that the "Fallen" will be a SUPER HUGE robot that towers over everything else.
Can't wait for June!! I hope the movie gets a simultaneous release here. The first one came more than a month after it's US release.

As much as I hate it, Blizzard has confirmed that the Barb is the only returning character for D3. The Witch Doctor is the new Necromancer and the Wizard is the new Sorceress. I'm sure there will be some sort of a "knight" class similar to the Paladin and maybe a Druid-type priest class or something.

Watched the Superbowl spots!
I REALLY hope G.I.Joe is good because the teaser is probably gonna be ripped apart by fanboys everywhere. I thought it was cool enough but feels too much like X-Men than G.I.Joe...
Transformers though is gonna be epic!
And I'm sure they are saving the best stuff for the final theatrical trailer.
