Try to get the WAHL one. Though beard trimmers can do the job as well. But From personal experience, after cutting hair with them they seem Not to be working properly on beard. Most likely hair cutting screwed up the blades. also i got wahl from flipkart/retailnet. It was ₹1500 something i Paid around 1.4k after Bank discount.

Yes cleaning is a mess. Drains getting clogged. i too was using philips beard trimmer. It did a decent job. But having a proper hair clipper with all those attachments is actually a game changer. Don’t have to worry about consistency. It does really help get a haircut closer to the one you get at a saloon. With all that fade and stuff. might actually start it as a side business once lockdown ends ??

Been cutting my own hair since lockdown began, gave myself like 4 hair cuts by now one every month. Bought WAHL hair clipper for like ₹1300 from flipkart saw some youtube videos and i was good to go. Nothing great but quite decent for someone cutting their own hair. Plan to keep it this way for coming months.

Also its fairly simple for Management/Analytics Consulting firm as they can work remotely too so the Current business won’t be impacted much by wfh. Also traveling to client side too is Somewhat taken care off by audio/video calls. Only downside i see is bringing in New business. They will figure out a way for that too.
