Has anyone gone through their replacement policy without any hassles?
My Dark souls order arrived yesterday but the disc was already loose.Tiny marks on the disc which doesn't seem to go even after wiping it off and it's a PS3 disc.Even got the cheap arse t-shirt which was wrapped tightly with the limited edition.Called their customer support and asked for a replacement but lo! and behold!! Dark souls for ps3 is out of stock...now the 'concerned' department will contact me within 24 hours, but so far no callbacks yet.
After reading a lot of horror stories of their replacement policy...I absolutely have no faith in them replacing the game.
I hate these guys, their delivery service is good but their customer support are a bunch of numbnuts.The amount of scripted responses I got from them even after 5-6 emails regarding my books was enough to drive anyone insane.
Can't believe I had canceled the UK preorder with my importer so I could order it from these jerks!

Played upto 5-2 now. All in all I feel Platinum games can make a kickass Aliens game (much better than the AvP crud) or a Starship Troopers title. Felt so badass when you smoke a cigarette,flick it and then take out as many enemies as possible before the cigarette hits the ground.

Got the game last night, played it upto act 1 mission 4. Restarted the game again, went for hard difficulty (being a God Hand fanatic, It's would be disrespectful towards mikami for playing it on normal.) Couldn't sleep properly either since I was on an adrenaline high after playing this.
All in all I LOVE IT!!!
Only sad part is knowing that mikami is gonna be involved in a few more titles before moving on. Need more crazy titles like these.

Don't know if this is the right place to post it but is it possible to have a steam gifting thread where people can have games they require gifted to their account after they have paid the amount(with extra charges ifor the effort) to the members who offer their services.
Need to purchase a few titles on the steam store thanks to patching errors and certain titles not being available at retail stores.

So what do you guys normally do to your hogtied victims?
Tried entertaining myself by taking them to cougar or bear infested areas,then placing a bait near them (was sad when you couldn't pour bait on them) and watch. And then started slitting throats when I was bored. It's too bad there's no scalping even though it was fun in GUN.

Argh... Has anyone encountered the horse carriage glitch where they would sometimes be launched in the air thus killing the riders during the fall and where they are stuck in one place and won't move but just bounce around like a friggin low-rider. At first it was amusing since one guy stole a carriage, got launched in the air along with the horse, horse survives the fall...thief does not.
All in all couldn't use fast travel since the carriages were stuck but seeing as how some of the missions would require you to ride a carriage, was wondering if anyone was able to solve this glitch. Tried reloading to a previous save but no dice. One solution I read online was restarting the console, so just switched it off now but not before getting frustrated with the glitch thus resulting in me stabbing the nearest hooker,skinning a horse,shooting a deputy,hogtied another deputy, shot a guy in the back when he asked for my help for rescuing his wife, shot the guys trying to hang his wife and then stabbed the wife.
Really need to work on my social skills...

Those who are in Bangalore and are looking to purchase the Wii... Stay away from Sapphire stores especially the new sapphire store at Koramangala . Just went over there an hour ago to purchase the Wii and there was a bald guy at the games section who loves to BS a lot. He said there is no warranty for the Wii (1 year warranty) and that he would give the number of his person who would fix the console or it's peripheral should any problem arise from it. What was even more absurd was when he said that you won't get 1 year warranty from any store.
The biggest BS would be when he said that he sold 300 pieces ( ROFLMAO!! ) and not even one piece had a complaint. Made a few calls to other stores like Landmark etc where they said that there is 1 year warranty with the console. The bald headed mofo changes his tone and tells us to go buy it from there.
Long Story short... Avoid Sapphire when you wanna buy a console. Gonna check other retail stores now.
@milo- It's the 4.2 firmware that's bricking wii's. Think it's on the new super mario bros disc...Now I need to wait for another firmware to play it.

Basically we need an extra remote and nunchuck so my bro is suggesting to go for the Wii bundle 39-in-1 pack which comes with the extra remote and nunchuck and whole other stuff whereas I suggested in buying the console and going for the remote and nunchuck seperately. Would like your advice on this.
Also is there anything else I need to look out for when purchasing the Wii ? (Too bad Croma Bangalore( next to Forum) doesn't give 3 year warranties on the Wii...Hell they aren't giving 3 yr warranties on the PS3)

What's with the sudden urge to watch horror movies nowadays..saw 2 guys and 1 girl(cute) asking for scary movies at the video shop and she took about 12 DVD's(think they are all those cheap low budget horrors)
And for those looking for horror movies..check out
1.John Carpenter's The Fog(1980)..do not take the remake which was released in 2005
2.John Carpenter's The Thing(1982)..balance of gore and horror..got me scared shitless when I saw it as a kid
3.REC..don't take the hollywood remake i.e. Quarantine.
Will give you more names after I check out some more movies from my friend..his room is a treasure trove for horror classics.Also you might wanna check out other horror movies by John carpenter and Stephen King.

For the multiplayer I hope so since the 1st one had it but it was offline(against bots and even had splitscreen..wish this one has splitscreen too but I doubt it)

Called them on the day I got the order and was assured a callback within 24hrs. On the next day waited till 7pm but no callback whatsoever. So finally gave them a call, one guy says he wants to check the status of the replacement and puts me on hold for 5 mins and then disconnects
. 2nd person who attended the call then states that they are unable to replace the game since it's out of stock and they would instead give me in-store credit when honestly I just wanted the game so I can play it as soon as possible.After all the crap of no refund and then finally agreeing to it, she asks for my feedback.
To which I replied,"Here's my feedback...the quality of your customer support is like the REAR-END of a donkey.' . There was a 2 min silence after this and then she thanks me and asks if I have any more feedback.
This ain't the first time dealing with their customer support and I am not the only one. You should see some of the horror stories other customers had endured.
