IIRC there were 2 versions, one for PS4 and one for PS5(enhanced edition). Both were on sale but PS4 version was cheaper by approx 600INR. Since upgrade to PS5(enhanced edition) was free, both versions were the same. They removed the cheaper one :/

And with heat sink is extra 20$ for 500GB and 1TB model, 50$ for 2TB and 5TB model. That said, maybe other manufacturers can keep the price somewhat lower, thankfully Seagate isn't the only vendor for SSD in PS's case.

I get it. But Sony(and MS as well I'm sure) has come a long way from basic checkerboarding, plus I did mention 'in motion' and not pause, zoomed 400% to see differences. I know I won't be doing that while playing any game.

I don't even know how people would know if dynamic res was in action in motion. Not like we're gonna pause, zoom 400% and check for artifacts. Especially when upscale tech is so good now.
