    Update for today - Sony Center Ambience Mall Gurgaon -

    So I was about to pay a visit to the Sony center today just to get some more details on the pre-order.  Before leaving, I decided to do a follow-up call just to confirm.

    A short Transcript - 

    Me: Want details about pre-order for PS5

    SC: Well, Pre-orders haven't started yet but are supposed to start soon. We were supposed to get some info about the pre-order around 15th of December - which never happened. 

    Please contact us again around 24-25th of December for an update. 

     

    So we're back to square one. Glad I decided to call before heading out :D

    One thing: He did say that you'll get it as per your queue number, so if they get 50 pieces and you're 51st, then wait for round 2.
    Interesting. Need to get more details around this.
    Anyway, I'll pay a visit and try to churn out whatever I can.
    As long as they're providing a proper receipt and a definite timeline, I'm fine with the pre order.

    Info from Sony Centre, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon today:

    - Expected launch around end-Jan
    - ₹10K for a pre-order right now, first come first serve delivery
    - Claims to be the only Sony Centre that'll get pieces in Gurgaon (has a large stock of PS4Pros with 3 games set on display)
    Just called them after reading your message.
    Yup, They're expecting stocks to land around end Jan. I asked if they'll be providing any receipt for the advance payment to which they replied - Yes.
    I might go there tomorrow as the sony center is nearby my home. Will update if I find anything else apart from this.

    So I saw an advert of PS5 pre order on Instagram.
    The seller seems to be based out of Mumbai and says that he's expecting the Indian version of the console by December end.
    He's accepting "pre-orders". Seems more like of "capturing interest" to me.
    On asking how do I preorder, I got the following response -

    "You just need to WhatsApp your details in the following way
    Name
    Mobile no
    Age
    Address
    Identify proof"

    No payment required as of now.
    Not sure why they need an Identity proof though [emoji848]

    That's a bummer. I wonder why it worked for me though. Maybe because my sub is gonna expire 2 days before the deal expires?

    I faced a similar case but managed to purchase anyway.

    I logged in on the PS4, Searched for FIFA 20 in the store. It should show you 2 options --> Download and Purchase (INR 279). 

    Instead of clicking Download I clicked on Purchase and the payment went through. You can try that. 

    If you've already downloaded the game, maybe try uninstalling it first?

    Chill bro. We are all here to help each other. And I believe you. The other guys must have got it wrong. Now since I am no expert is why I decided to ask for suggestions here.

    Anyway, I have bought Sony 49X8300D for 85K. Will be missing out Dolby Vision but getting a 49" TV at such price is a steal. Thanks for your suggestions :)

    Yep that makes two people defending the LG TV. So as I said I believe you guys. Anyways the 49X8300D will be coming on Sunday. Will post my 2 cents here later.

    Check out LG 43UJ752T. It has Dolby Vision too
    I did shortlist it earlier.
    As a streaming/viewing device, it's bang for the buck. However many people complained about gaming on the television. High input lag and lots of stuttering on PS4 pro. And i think it didn't support game mode with hdr on.
    Ultimately I had to ditch it.

    Hey Guys, I recently upgraded to PS4 Pro and am looking to hook it up with a good quality 4k HDR Television.

    As of now, I am inclined towards getting Sony x8300D. Probably 43 inch or 49 inch. I might get the 49 inch version for approx 89k from a local store. 

    The reason I am choosing this tv is because of its HDR10 support which is quite essential for PS4 HDR gaming.

     

    My primary usage would be gaming on Ps4 Pro, Netflix/4k streaming. 

    Any suggestions?

    This game is so fricking awesome... Almost halfway through the story missions and right now Aloy is at level 35...also 14/15 blazing suns obtained... Gonna do the the last two cauldrons and then override the thunderjaw for last blazing sun....
    Then I'll continue the story mode lol [emoji23]

    Yeah Offline seems to be perfect.

    As a matter of fact, I tested out the game on Steam as well.

    Butter smooth online experience on the same internet connection. Don't know why the PS4 online experience sucks. Bandai Namco better do something ASAP.
