    The aussies set up the perfect field for Sehwag. He got out the exact same way as he did in the 2nd innings of last test match when hussey took the catch.

    Total KLPD for i9100 G owners then. f**k, just reinforces my stance that Samsung is basically a total screwup. Anyway, Samsung is lucky 98% buyers wouldn't even know or care about ICS.

    Rofl, why do you wanna make your android phone behave like iphone is beyonc my imagination...

     

    MIUI looks good. Alteast it did on my GalaxyS. I found it much better than the usual ROMs as is based on CM too. Lets face it, Android isn't going to win any UI contests. Its an OS with function over form as its priority. MIUI tries to bring some form into it for those who want it

    I dont think any smartphone today can survive more than a day on normal smartphone type usage. The iPhone 4 probably had the best life, but the 4S isn't as good as the 4. Dont expect battery life out of an android device today anyway. Only WP devices, for now, have good battery life amongst the 3 platforms.

     

    At 15-18k, the Omnia W is a no brainer really at 17k. Its battery lasts 1-1.5 days on medium usage on 3G. Which is very good. And a fantastic OS to boot.

     

    On 3G I'm getting a day and few hours of battery life on Windows phone. But then, I'm in wifi at work and home, so maybe thats why it lasts longer as Wifi doesn't suck battery as much as 3G does.

    U clearly missed the point. For no apparent reason, he betrayed the guys who stood by him all through his meteoric rise in the 1st movie. Aur dhang se dekhi. 5 saal tak akela poora asia drug market sambhal raha tha? Aur asia ka drug lord ban gaya :lol: A drug cartel has members all over the place where they supposedly rule. You need eyes everywhere to keep a look out.

     

    Again, this is clearly me nitpicking logical fallacies when its kind of expected from such a movie.

    I'd rather if he does another Swades or Chakde. Where he actually shows some acting skills.

     

    One rather stupid fact that I came to realize when i read it in a review is, Why is Don operating all alone. In the first film, he had his mansions, his henchmen and right hand men with him. It was the proper aura of an underworld kingpin. Then he betrays his own gang members for some apparent reason in the 1st one and then chooses to work completely alone. How the hell does he control Asia's drug market alone.

     

    But, then, we should not go looking for logic.

    watched Don 2 yday (as part of a team outing...) As DS has pointed out; please don't try to apply logic into the movie while watching. Snippets seem picked up from various heist movies, and SRK needs to re-invent himself pretty soon. We all have been seeing this stuff for years now. Did not help that i watched MI-4 the same week too.

     

    The sequences are well done, but somehow it does not feel upto the mark as Don 1 was.

     

    I thought the sequences, at the very least, were much better than in Don 1. A lot more effort went into this than in its predecessor. The martial arts, the bank heist, the scenes in the prison.

     

    Personally I found SRK decent. Probably first time after Chak de India when I didnt wince at any of his on screen antics.

     

    Some People are just :doh: Kuch bhi karlo unko kuch pasand nahi aata :doh: Faltu ki batein bolte hain bas :doh:

    Valid criticism != faaltu ki baatein. But then you are to biased to see it

    Just saw Don 2. Not bad really.

     

    Positives

     

    1. Decent story, SRK not being irritating and playing the role of the conniving villian to the T. A long time since I didn't find SRK irritating. I thought he was fairly convincing as a Don.

     

    2. The technical effects and action scenes are one of the dazzling ones I've seen yet in Bollywood. The punches, dropkicks, flips all had a lot of meat in them and SRK was perfect in them. I have never seen SRK do stunts so well. The scenes were shot well and sound was effective too. Really loved all those scenes.

     

    3. The cameo by a famous actor was awesome as well. I totally didnt expect that Mission Impossible'ish stunt :D. Boman Irani was adequate too.

     

    4. Just 1 song. The soundtrack was pathetic good thing they didn't stop the narrative much.

     

    Now the negatives.

     

    1. A very dragging first half. Too much time wasting. The actual fun starts in the 2nd half. The 1st half had a few decent scenes, like the intro. Otherwise was meh.

     

    2.

    The entire Interpol and Police department in the movie are a bunch of of doddering imbeciles!! They had no plans, intelligence..nothing. They were continually outwitted by Don at every twist and turn. I expected Chopra to actually put up a decent resistance to Don's plans, but meh. She was all the time putting 2 and 2 together understanding WTF just happened. Om Puri and chopra's new sidekick were as dumb as she was. I mean yea Don is supposed to be a genius who is 2 steps ahead of everyone but come on, some glitch in the plans, some last minute improvisation by Don would've been good. Every thing went according to his plan like textbook. And then she gets the biggest KLPD getting shot :P. The weird romance between the two also felt very very forced. Again, PC being a moron and somehow having a soft corner for him.

     

     

    3. The entire heist operation was fairly predictable, albeit enjoyable.

     

    4. Lots of plot holes, but i wont nitpick on those since they are expected anyway

     

     

    All in all, a good effort. I think many average people in the cinema hall were confused by the twist in the end as its very briefly explained. In fact the entire 2nd half moves at a feverish pace, but no one was dissing the movie. I guess the stylized action will save the movie. 3/5 from me. The movie is a definite hit. WAY WAY better than that goat turd Ra.One
