Great but i dont know if i can keep myself spoiler free until then coz i have to really careful sometimes while reading character bios on the internet.

Knew Drogo's fate before reading the book

Btw when are you getting your copy of ADWD?

  3. i watched the trailer and i found Saif's dialogue delivery to be forced and stilted especially the scene where he argues with Amitabh.

I suggest you watch the trailer again, its just my views on his acting skills.

Way to blow it out of proportion :wallbash:

  4. wait so you mean a dalit, educated professor cant be sophisticated and believe in quotas ?? that is grade 1 castism right there buddy.

You are way off the mark dude. What i meant was he is isn't the best candidate for the role, someone like Ajay Devgan would have been more believable, but that's just a personal preference.

On the other hand accusing someone of casteism on basis of judgement of a movie trailer is going too overboard.

  5. Saw this film last night. " I am not there" - it explains the life of Bob Dylan like no mere biography could..

I am not really a fan of art without structure or loosely told intellectully shot, movie-stories.. but this one did captivate me till the end. Don't know if it was because of the gripping dialogues (i am a fan of Bob Dylan quotes and poems) or the songs in the background or just the brilliance of actors on the screen.

This is like a comic book of Dylan's life, his flings, first marriage, arrogant conversion and cultivated air of mystery... You need to know a bit about him to understand what is happening and which character is playing what form of Bob Dylan.

But even if director was high on dope when he penned the screenplay the film is shot brilliantly. The camera angles are just so refreshing, the treatment and the editing amazingly sharp and woven well together. My favourite part of the film was the beginning of the love story of Dylan and his wife sarah (on screen by Heath Ledger) and the song that plays in the background is "I want you" just amazing that whole 3 minute long sequence..

And i loved the title of the movie.."I'm not there" , maybe that's because we've never been able to figure Bob Dylan out while he was "here." Happened to many great artists, sportsmen and politicians..

If you like Bob Dylan and not averse to Drama and Documentary mix.. you might like this one.

Out of all the actors,Cate Blanchett has the closest resemblance to Bob Dylan
