    There's a theory that even though we are getting 2 lac cases a day, almost half are false positives so actual cases are much less.
    Second theory is the virus will burn out by next year and 2021 is the pretty much the last year of Corona. So that's some good news for you guys.

    Yeah. Pretty bad. We have lots of family members in Lucknow, and been hearing really terrible news. Apparently almost 50-60 bodies are always waiting to get cremated. The administration even covered up the crematorium now to avoid videography.

    Today the crematorium was curtailed with metal sheets after this video went viral..
    So much effort is out to hide whats actually going on..

    My brother in law just got tested +ve but somehow my sister, her kids and her mother in law has tested -ve. I don't understand how that's possible, they live in the same house. They were in the same room without masks.
     
    She wants us to take care of the kids now and I am not sure if that would be a good idea.
    I posted something similar before my sister and her kids were tested positive while my brother in law tested positive almost 3 months after that

    How do people find time to argue man? Isnt it tiring?
     
    If i get an angry reply on the internet i dont even reply and feed the anger. If i really goof up then i just say sorry and let the conversation flow. 
    I have so many times typed a reply and thn deleted it thinking man I don't have time for this lol..

    They are in news because of only one thing. Utter confusion. One ministers says lockdown jaldi hi hoga ,people panic and stop trips to my city (where tourism plays major role), then another minister says a meeting is going and and then at the same time CM says don't want to lockdown but have no other option. Official lockdown was announced yesterday, but you will be surprised that we are in the lockdown since last 10-15 days. This is why people are angry.

    Dropped cousins yesterday at LTT railway station. Crazy scenes over there, felt like watching the 1947 partition scene from movies. Here no one checked RT-PCR report either while boarding or on reaching the destination. 

     

    And what's this nonsense on why are you only blaming your mumbai/Maharashtra? Most of us stay stay here & have stake in the state well-being via businesses, properties, jobs etc all of which are getting affected. people staying here know how messed up things are, you'll hear an ambulance siren whizz by regularly from the past few days, hospital beds are full and people who you know are asking in wa groups/ telegram if anyone knows where to source remdesiver from themselves or relatives.despite the meteoric rise in cases Multiple Jumbo covid facilities which the govt spent crores on last year have all been dismantled and are nowhere to be found . The state's CM who instead of going to a nearby hospital calls medical staff to vaccinate himself in his bunglow and then complains that there is a shortage of medical workers in the state. 

     

    You people are more than welcome share your state's issues & mismanagements but to think the people staying in MH who are posting about this mess have a political agenda or are doing it to settle political scores with the state govt  is beyond stupid. 



    bro its same story everywhere maharashtra has got special attention for obvious reasons.. 
    if anything maharashtra has been very forthcoming with what the situation there is or center has made sure maharashtra stays in the news...

    I think they realized that with increasing caseload it makes no sense to follow schedule which is relied on delivery of desi vaxx.
    Especially now that SII is crunched too. On one side, they are being flexible, but OTOH  they simply didn't have a backup plan.'

    And with this approach they have lost the upper hand in pricing negotiation.
    Had they booked 50-100m supplies back in January, they could've negotiated better, now everyone has seen our cards.
    Sputnik sells for 10$. Lets see if they get it for 5$, which still be more than what they are getting desi vaxx for.
    One may think our government is smart and thought all that and course corrected on time..

    Then there's this






    Not a care for life.. Insult to dead and middle finger to those hospitalised..

    What's wrong ? When he had less data and cases in his state, he stated the same, and didn't think it was serious. Now that we have seen that the mutated strain is super infectious, he is stating the same a week later. If anything, that just increases credibility. It's an evolving situation. 
    You might think that we know things, but the whole pharma and healthcare community is as clueless as you. We have been suddenly pushed into a situation where RTPCR cannot be trusted, Favi and RemD are OOS at most places (and supply is indeed very low), almost every suspected patient needs an HRCT (increasing chances of spread), the beds and ICUs are packed, number of serious cases are increasing (and healthcare workers are getting out of the system due to high level of infection), there is a detrimental compound effect on other medical conditions (causing increased mortality and morbidity), among other things. 
    When researchers and doctors are clueless in what is an ever changing situation, I really doubt 2 different statements spoken a week apart are to blame. 
    If you really want to blame - blame ourselves for not taking adequate precautions, blame the politicians (including our current PM) for political rallies, blame Kumbh Mela and other religious congregations. 
     
    We are truly f**ked this time. 
    It's getting scarier every passing day...
    The cases and deaths are sooo under reported..

    Damn, I completely forgot I saw Lace Riddick for a split second in the movie. Maybe they'll do an extended cut for the home video release :/
    Don't think so.. With the stories coming out wb is a very douchy studio mandates runtimes and stuff and also interferes a lot in movie making..

    Yeah so somehow the hollow earth part was exactly below Hong Kong lol. And yeah the signal transfer was even more stupid.
    And what about sun inside the earth :rofl:
    We didn't really see a sun did we? I honestly don't remember lol..
    But we should cut slack to such mindless fun movies.. The movie did a great job at what it set out to do.. Great monster fights..

    Most hilarious was Godzilla's breath creating a tunnel and it reached exactly above Kong in Hollow Earth, and then they climbed back into Hong Kong like it was nothing [emoji38]

    The movie is incredibly stupid but more than makes up for it with fantastic CGI fights.

    The hole was created next to where Kong was standing not above.. Gravity was inverted in hollow earth.. All that is still fine..

     

    The energy upload bit left me laughing..
