Just due to the backlog of PS4 I have. I sold my PS4 sometime back and there would be a few PS4 games I would want to play on PS5 day one, such as TLOU2 and Ghost of Tsushima. I know the day one lineup of PS5 itself is not that exciting. If Ratchet launches, I will get that day one and maybe Spiderman but thats about it.

Sony has said that most of the games should be ready to play day one. So hopefully big ones like TLOU2 and GoT should be ready. Fingers crossed.

That just might be true, but main PS4 ka backlog leke baitha hu iss hope main ki I will get enhanced versions to play via Backwards Compatibility on PS5. So, if nothing else, I will get to play Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Spiderman on launch day (hopefully).

In your case it would be which outlet will get the stock first, ofc places with online like GTS and Amazon will be able to dispatch sooner, and your electronics chain stores will get PS5 stocks last.
Oh do Amazon etc get priority in stock in India? Even over Sony centres? And do they dispatch these things like a couple of days before the official release date, so that they reach us on release date, like in the US?

You both are right. Sony themselves said they are limiting the PS5s not because there are production issues but they dont expect the demand to be much because of the economic downturn due to the Chinese virus (:p).
So it depends on how much stock they allocate to India. But its true that most people will balk at anything crossing a price of 50000INR in India. Fingers crossed but should be able to get one if stock for India is even half decent.

I am wary of getting a new product from abroad. Warranty issues. A new launch has its own issues and I dont want to be stuck with no recourse in case anything goes wrong as an early adopter.
I will try my best to get one on India launch though. Will scour Amazo, Gamestheshop and especisally Sony centres. Many people sleep on them but they usually get good stock and have them for longer as not many people are aware of them or purchase from them.

Whats the best place to preorder? Amazon? I dont want to pre-order at some shitty place which might cancel randomly a couple of days before launch. That has happened to a few games for me. -
What is the best way to make sure that I get it on launch day in India? I want to jump in day one this time as I left a few PS4 games to play on PS5- hopefully with enhanced graphics. Any tips to assure one at launch?
Also, what price are you guys expecting in India? I am expecting around 60000. Mentally preparing for 70000 too, though hopefully that wont be the case.

I had no problem at all with the game at 1080p highest settings. Was getting 80FPS types most of the time. What are your specs? Mine are 4770k, GTX 1070 overclocked.
I was getting some stutters before I turned off vsync. Maybe you should try that. -
Liked the starting of the game. Am at hammerhead and doing quests but there is no way to pass night time, wut?
I'm at hammerhead and can't access any nearby camp because I get ambushed by level 30 iron giants.
There are RVs at every gas station where you can pass night. Also, map has option of instantly going back to place last rested at.
The car sucks though. Even in manual mode its driving automatically only mostly. And it wont even go offroad. Can drive only on main roads. wtf

How does this pre-load works (on PC). I clicked on 'Install', and within 2 minutes it said 'Gears of war has been installed. Check it out.' Obviously my 20mbps connection could never download 80GB in 2 minutes. My free HDD size is also same. Whats going on? There is no internet activity either. When I click on 'Play', it says 'You are too early.', which is fair enough. But whats going on? How is it going to download going to happen?

Call up and check with Jai Ganesh in Thane. I purchased BB from there and the shopkeeper told me that they gave 10% off on new titles (Got 10% off on BB at launch). They also have midnight launch it seems (according to article at IVG, did'nt check with them yet!)

any ps4 owners having a physical copy? and how did u get it? palika baazar have them and I just might get it from there albeit slightly over priced.
I dont have it yet, ordered it from ebay yesterday though. With paytm discount cost me 3300. Gamestheshop is shipping them now, as far as I know. Grofers is still stuck on delivery on 10th May. Not sure about Amazon or Flipkart. Confirm with any gamestheshop in Delhi, they should have them.

Please, please do not justify your wrongdoings through such blase statements. I remember waiting close to two months for my copy of The Witcher 2 showing up (after multiple price changes) and purchasing the Gothic anthology from abroad because you know what, I wanted to support the developers.
If you read the whole post that I wrote, I clearly mentioned that as long as he doesnt pirate, the developers do get their cut. Sourcing from US or buying an imported copy from ebay. I am nowhere saying that he should pirate. I did not know that he pirated. I was talking about only those who, after waiting, got from ebay/Amazon US or something like that. The developer gets the money in this case, only the distributor doesnt.

What exactly do you guys want him to do? If Namco is not releasing it on PC in India, how is he supposed to support them? And as long as he didnt get pirated version, Namco anyway got the money. Its e-xpress/GTS who didnt. I am not getting these sarcastic comments. What was the course of action for him? He has replied in a normal fashion that he wanted to support the official channel but couldnt. So as long as he didnt pirate it, I dont see whats the need of these snarky comments.
How is it that rather than the company who screwed up, be it Namco or e-xpress, you guys are trolling someone who isnt even at fault? Who tried and waited for the game but couldnt because the company wont release it in India? What is going on?

PS4 and XB1 copies seem to be in stock on GTS. Only pc copy is pushed to 10th.

Oh I will be there day 0 for Demon's souls. I have played all the Soulseborne/Sekiro games and loved all of them except Sekiro (seems parrying just isnt for me and the game kept forcing me to do that. It became a chore rather than something to become good at slowly by practice. Exploration was also an issue as usually it funneled me in one particular direction while other Soulsborne games allow you to go to other areas if you find one difficult. And the absolute biggest issue I had with it was that it had practically no leveling either in weapons or character to speak about. Really limiting). But I dont think Demons Souls is a launch game, or even launch window.
