I suggest use a pwoer bank to charge your controller
Power bank is the fast charger one (max 18W)...someone mentioned that fast charging bricks the controller [emoji51]
Alternatively I have an old Samsung mobile adapter that’s 9v and mentioned adaptive fast charging...scared to use that as well. Pata chale day-1 pe kaput

It’s by choice. No matter what happens, don’t cancel and don’t even remotely agree to the suggestion put up by fk. They did the same with SX orders

The disc drive is kinda noisy while installing the game..is this normal?
Noisy as in? You can hear the disc rotation sound (like a fan moving), which is very loud (sounds even more louder since the ps5 itself is so quiet). Apart from that i do not hear any sound
Copying a game from disc is so painful though!! It’s soooooooooooooo? slow

1.) Should be fine but i formatted the drive just to rule out any glitches and redownloaded all the games.
2.) I wouldn't keep a mechanical hdd near a woofer. Magnets and vibrations will not make a good pair.

Guys, Have two queries:
1. I have a seagate external hdd that I used with the PS4. It has about 1.4tb worth games. Should I just plug and play the hdd on ps5, or should I format it again in extFat format and then download all the games on it again
2. Is it ok to keep the external hdd near a sub? The vibrations of the sub won’t cause any harm to the drive right?

for this 2nd item trick, all status updates should be in sync right? I ordered miles for ps5 and miles reached dispatching now while the ps5 was still in PFD so i cancelled it
Yes. They should both move to Not Yet Dispatched within minutes of booking the second item and then from there on should be in sync.

I was supposed to get the console delivered today but delhivery seems to be in rest mode. Every second day these bastards take a holiday it seems. Today was the date it should've been delivered, yet hardly any movement on the package. And its till shows edd of 4th Feb when I am tracking my order.
From rishi's article on ign, it appears many others have had their parcels moving about the city without being delivered. And there is no way to contact or escalate things with these delivery companies. Really frustrating.

Checked Shop@SC portal at 6pm and found that Sony changed the delivery center. They didn't even mail me about this. The new place was 25km away. Called the owner to confirm and he asked me to come at 8pm to collect it. Drove there and got the console and left in 10mins.
Still intend to pursue Sony and demand an apology. Rishi and [mention=1]HundredProofSam[/mention] have been super helpful. As per Rishi, this mail and other complaints resulted in Sony initiating an audit on PS5 preorders and sales.

It's a cash on delivery item and both the items are in the same package
I'm afraid they aren't in the same carton, if I cancel the COD game, I hope they don't return the PS5 too
If it’s COD, let the items come. Open the packing (you can do that with cod items to check) and then reject the disc. If the delivery guy objects show him the two different order numbers and say one is paid so you are keeping the paid one and letting go the cod one

My main account is in PSN US so all I can tell you is that on trying to upgrade to ultimate edition it gives error which is to be expected as disc region and my account region are not matching.

Yup, this is the way to go. And, I think India falls under Region5.
Also if you're considering getting the SM Remastered like me, better get the Miles Morales Ultimate edition with 10% discount when available. Works out cheaper than purchasing MM PS4 + SM remastered from UK PSN £20(2k), which I did..
Even with the PS5 disc for miles morales, the UE upgrade has to be bought from a UK account?

I have my ps5 inside a cabinet with the front door/panel open. I played a bit of RDR2 today along with a lot of Astro Playroom, but the fan was always dead silent. Even after the long session when I touched the console it was just warm and the area around the unit was also not very hot (unlike what used to happen with the PS4).
Will test it out more though and see
