  1. Keep hitting X simultaneously when u jump from a heighted storey or tower..

Damn.....everyday there is something new to learn lol!!! But why the heck did dice not release a guide sort of a thing or a training mode. How else r we supposed to know these little things (even the other core things we had to find out on our own :naughty:)!! We are not birds ki building ke upar se chhalaang maar di and then keep trying button combinations to see if there is any parachutes or wings or skijet on our backs :P

  2. I was dead 15 times before I could figure out what the f**k was going on. That said, this game seems deep. Has a learning curve but might be worth it.

Yeah....i think that happened to almost everyone here!!! The mechanics in this game are totally different to what we have experienced in games like KZ2. This is a totally different game and requires a totally different approach!!

The first 4-5 times i plyed, it was horrifying!! I mean i 'Hated' this game to the core. Ask Danny and silentassassin, i was totally hating this game!!! 1-2 kills with 14-15 deaths everytime i played, but more than that it was the sheer confusion that was frustrating. I mean i spawned, ran a little and bam.....sniper shot....i spawned again ran a little and bam...an assault killed me from a sniper's range...I was like wft, i couldnt even see tht guy, how the heck did he spot me??? :good:

But as i played some more, i slowly understood the mechanics and how to play the game (with inputs frm aman etc). And now, i can easily ket more kills than deaths....well not easily, as you never know where death is awaiting you lol, and this is what i love about this game. Its a battlefield, where every decision you make is crucial, every place you go to can be a deathbed, you have the constant fear that someone somewhere is aiming at you at all times, the constant fear of a sniper spotting you, a constant fear of coming face to face with a tank, a constant fear that your cover would get blown apart etc!!! Thats what a real war is all about!!!

I am loving this game now!! And as you get more n more unlocks, this game becomes more n more fun!!!

Guys, my suggestion to you, dont give up on this game bec of what you experienced in the first 10-20 times you played. Give it more time, and soon you will know how awesome this game really is!!! I suggest you pick up a class, and stick to it and get used to it. If you try too much, it will cause only frustration!!

  3. You don't really have a choice; you either face the tanks or get into one. The game mode is Attack and Defend so all the action is concentrated in certain areas. So when three guys from the opposing team are in tanks around the area you have to attack defend, WTF do you do?

    peace

Engineers cn get the tanks easily with rockets!! However wht i hve noticed is tht good team work is reqd in this game (as it shld be since its a war game). So a team needs players in all classes n gd co-ordination. All classes hve different roles to it. I hve seen firangs use the combination of 2 engineers n tank to take out opp tanks quite successfully n easily. One engineer repairs the tank, tank engages the opp tank, n second engineer fires rockets at the opp tank.

  4. @angy Thats what I love about the BF series, even if you dont get many kills you still feel like you are contributing to the game by assists and captures. A lot of other shooters just feel like Team DMs even in objective based gameplays but not BF.

Yeah i noticed that too.....its not only about getting kills in this game!! and i think you even get a point for assists!!!

  5. ok played the Beta...around 6 matches....

so i can safely say...the game is not pick up and play for your average kz2/mw2 gamer.... it requires tremendous amounts of patience to get used to first of all... it's not fast paced or shiny .... but it has the most awesome looking visuals for a war game.... the game pace is real slow...but picks up once it gets intense at the mission sites....

the weapons feel like kz2... a bit better once u get used to... my fav classes are engineer and recon... but all the classes are brilliantly balanced..so are the maps.... u will have fixed turrets very very near the mission site but it wont be of much use if the enemy is directly attacking the site.... the tank is intimidating but very easy to blow up.....

the maps are really huge.... but thanks to the squad system...any squad member can spawn on his/her squad members....so it helps a lot....

I totally agree with you!!! This is my first battlefield game.....and i totally got owned!!! Specially from snipers n tanks!!! Did get 2 kills though....bbut 12 deaths :P!! But i could see i need a lot of time to jut get used to this game!!!
