Yeah i know XSS will always be ridiculed here and on Social media . It's indeed pointless to say it again n again . Also doesn't matter people have to say about XSS its a next gen nd great vfm console for me . Also i will be putting my XSS for sale in a day or 2 . Got only time for one console. Ideally would have loved to keep it as PS5 with XSS is an amazing combination which allows you to enjoy the best of both PS/Xbox.

Yup this was the reason I sold my X1X and purchased XSS . Load times became annoying asf.

Deluxe gives you access to PS1/2 titles ( library as of now is really small) PS4 remasters of PS3 games ( library is decent) And timed trials of few games . Only handful games as of now ) You can go through classics catalog to check if you like the games or not Also one thing to keep.in mind is that you can upgrade to deluxe from extra anytime you want . But you can't downgrade your plan to extra from deluxe until your sub expires.

Yup checked again on console - PS4 remasters of PS3 games are in classics catalog only.

Even in US region they (PS4 remasters) appear in classics only .

That sucks . Faced that problem before myself too . Sony really need to implement save system similar to MS . It's so much more convenient.

Yes that and Quick Resume ( or haptic feedback/triggers for PS5) . I know with SSD games load quicker anyway but Quick Resume just makes the experience better.

True it's all about Marketing only. On Social media it's always being said XSS is not next gen hence this ad (and other ads before and many to come after this ) by MS to say it's next gen .

By that logic even PS5/XSX aren't truly next gen . Most AAA games do not support 4k120fps .hell they don't even do native4k60fps in majority of AAA games. Resolution drops to 1800p for games like HFW and to 1600p for Control ( Ultimate Edition PS5) in performance mode targeting 60 fps . And games like deathloop/Uncharted Legacy of Thieves collection which support 120fps do so at 1080p . Spiderman may do 4k80/90 fps but that's because of work by its creators and VRR display ( something which even less people own)

From Statista website . 44% users own 4k TV at the end of Mar 21 . Just type "4k TV owners USA" on Google . Unlike Radical I don't use made up for sources. Also this is for the US the ratio for other countries would be much less. Also I am not making any assumption about gamers overlapping or anything . Just saying 4k should not be considered standard for this gen since not everybody owns it . Even though XSS does pretty good Upscaling to 4k.

What is the definition of a next gen console ? One that can run a next gen game , Has the features which we expect from a next gen console - Ray tracing / Super fast load times / 120fps support / Quick Resume ( in case of Xbox consoles) and should be supported for the entirety of next gen . Xbox Series S - checks all the boxes so yes it's next gen .. It runs games on a lower - 2k resolution yes. But More than half of the population in US ( let alone the world ) still doesn't own a 4k TV - so no 4k is not a necessary part of being next gen (Even though XSS does pretty good upscaling) And yes it's aimed more towards casual users who don't care about 4k or few graphical settings . But it's a next gen console as it meets the above criteria. Doubters can doubt all they want - XSS users are happy with their next gen purchase Its a console which can run game like Flight Simulator pretty okay when a much more expensive gaming PC would struggle to run it . Nuff said .

It's perfect for XSS . Will work really well. Also i think your monitor supports downscaling - It will accept 4k/60fps signal from PS5 and then convert it to 1440p/60fps . This should give you a "Rough" idea as to how games might look on XSS at 1440p

Pretty sure the same was said earlier about other new accounts when few of the Xbots were banned - calling them alts of those xbots . And now it's suddenly not smart to think of the same when a pony got banned. Anyways Ponies are a united bunch will give you that . Always jumping to defend one another. P.S. - The hypocrisy of ponies here is off the charts always judging so called Xbots when some of the ponies have posted much more ridiculous stuff.

No i mean if you play on a 27 inch monitor then difference between playing on a 27 inch monitor with 1080p native resolution compared to playing on a 27 inch monitor with 1440p native resolution is striking and very noticeable. If a monitor is 24 inch or less than the difference is hardly noticeable. P.S. I know what i am stating is very obvious. Should have clarified it better in original post.

It's perfect for XSS since it natively supports this resolution. The difference between 1080p and 1440p is striking especially if you play on 27 inch monitor. Games look much better on it.

That's funny considering how controllers with new designs/colors is the only thing MS was releasing according to Ponies here .

Pretty sure Ponies will also say the same soon - PS plus extra pe aayega . Few are already saying it here - Like the analyst who's banned currently - He said he wouldn't buy any new games and wait for them to come on Sub .
