For the last time - Money spent on acquisition of studios goes into your balance sheet as an Asset . It does not go into your income statement . Only the salaries spent on staff of newly acquired studios would go under income statement . Activision deal isn't even complete yet . MS hasn't paid anything yet. Total spend on Acquisition for MS would be around 12/14Bil as of now including that of Bethesda . And only the money spent on Salaries of the staff of newly acquired studios say around 100mil would go into income statement. Ofc Xbox division has other expenses but those aren't in billions. So no MS isn't bleeding money by any stretch of imagination . Whatever money MS spent to acquire studios and will spend in future will boost it's topline for years to come The real.effect of these acquisitions will only be visible few years down the line . If the topline doesn't increase according to expectations only then you can call these acquisitions a failure . So stop with your analysis - only makes you look bad .

And Your estimation - 80*3 = 240 Mil , Assuming you think MS sold 2 million consoles in that quarter at an average price of 400$ (-15% distributor margin) would give 2*340= 680 mil . That's 920 mil . Actual revenue 5.4 Bil. And now don't point towards game sales/MTX revenue cause according to you that's non existent. Yeah this thing sucks about car companies here. Doesn't matter when you order , car companies will bill you on the day they dispatch cars . So if price rises even on the day of delivery for a car you ordered months back you will stay have to pay new price . And when you add increase in insurance and RTO charges to increase in ex showroom price - net increase amount can reach upto a lakh on higher end variants.

Although I dont own one but I did research about it a lot and subsidies on it . You get 1L subsidy which you will receive directly in your bank account in Maharashtra . You don't get FAME II subsidy anymore on commercial vehicles. Apart from Subsidy most states charge flat amount in range of 5-10k as RTO charges compared to 10-13% for Petrol/Diesel cars which is also a huge saving .
