    As usual misleading/incomplete tweet/article. 81B doesn't come from buying games in total - it includes money spent on DLC and MT's as well . A bulk of 81B would be coming from DLC/MT's If you will refer to Sony's full year results for FY21 (gaming segment) - more than a third of the revenue was from DLC'$ and MT's . Revenue from game sales was around 30% Console sales made around 20% and remaining from services / accessories . So you can say half came from Buying games outright and rest from DLC/MT's. So yeah ratio of buying vs renting is definitely over 10:1 . But it's lot closer than what article suggests

    VC's are more interested in the story and the message your company is going to sell. Anyway I m guessing his must be a tech company . Also Series a round means your friend must have had raised some money earlier so he must have something to show for . Also he must have good experience and connections in the field he is in otherwise raising that kind of money is very hard in general when you don't have any revenue to show for it .

    I can say the same about Godhra riots in 2002 . Lots of people have said - Truth was hidden by the party in power . The real truth is that - Each side/members of a particular religion has done something bad to other - Period . No one is better than the other .

    Yeah hobbies don't need to be outdoor only . Indoor hobbies can be just as fun as well . The article was saying not having outdoor hobbies / meeting new people with different backgrounds limis your thoughts n view which i agree with .

    Yeah that's what Indians do in general - they don't go out for hikes/have a recreational hobby / meet people with different views/experiences . Hence their views remains the same and are mostly influenced by what they watch on primetime TV - which only.shows what political parties controlling those channels want you to believe. Only stupid part of the article is that this exists everywhere (limited world view) and not just in India .

    It's true for a bulk of those in mid 30's with families n kids (myself included) . It's very hard to find time to unwind . All my friends/relatives near my age with families n kids complain about the same thing. And yes most have a limited worldview of things in general or politics and live in their own small world .

    Fully agree with everything apart from the fact it's just us Indians who have a limited worldwide view . Majority of the people in the west have the same attitude when it comes to politics and people from other cultures as such . They don't grow as people nor read books or expand their circles etc . Their view is limited too . Their only source of world knowledge is prime time tv news - can be either Fox news or CNN depending on their ideals in US .

    Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by UK - freezing all his assets . He can't sell the club now. Also as per available news club can continue its regular operations and contracts undertaken before the sanctions. No new contracts after sanctions - supporters can't Even buy tickets now since it's essentially a new sale contract.

    Just add both gains and fill total gains in that section . RSU - Since you don't pay for RSU - the total value of stock exercised is your gain . ESOP - You only have to pay tax on gains in ESOP - difference between fair market value and the rate at which you exercise the option as specified by your company. (multiply it with total number of stocks) . Add ESOP gains and RSU gains and declare it .

    Yeah don't think we all can really understand the reasons behind it . Russia is definitely risking the wrath of the whole world and doesn't care about loss of reputation and sanctions which can hurt them quite badly so it must be important to them to go through with such a drastic step . I cannot condone war and crimes against humanity though . Although we/whole world is also apparently quiet over holding perpetrators of COVID Responsible . (Everyone knows who they are) A tragedy which has caused more losses than WW1&2 combined for many countries . Heck India lost more people to COVID yesterday than Ukraine has lost due to wars in last 2 days .

    Putin also asked NATO/US to give a written guarantee that they will roll back joining of those who joined after 1997 and give written guarantee that they will never bring nuclear weapons in those areas . Apparently these two terms were non acceptable to NATO .

    Yes that's exactly what Putin has been saying in his speeches as well - Asking Ukrainian soldiers to lay down arms and overthrow the government . The numbers don't make sense though - Ukraine says they have killed over 3500 Russian soldiers while saying they have lost 127 people to the war as of yesterday.

    The second tweet is absolute BS. Air India has been operating regular flights to evacuate Indians . More flights are being planned carefully because it's an active warzone . Indian MEA also said it's working closely with their Ukrainian counterparts to work on evacuation. In the above video Ukrainian representative is appealing and not threatening - two very different things .

    Fully agree with this . Asking people to volunteer vs forcing them to volunteer is completely different . Most European countries are allowing refugees from Ukraine so why not let people go safely and be united with their families . At least they can start a new life . Ukraine is fighting a war which it cannot win by the current looks of it. I applaud the president's courage in not running away - but forcefully putting civilians in danger and separating them from their families is not right . Protecting life of the citizens should be the priority of the president not protecting the land .
