Anyone using HDFC millennia credit card ? It's giving 5% Cashback on Amazon, BookMyShow, Cult.fit, Flipkart, Myntra, Sony LIV, Swiggy, Tata CLiQ, Uber and Zomato. I am getting an upgrade offer to Millennia card from my current Regalia Card . Should I go for it ? I mostly use my credit card for online spends only .

Me , my wife n kid all got COVID around 10 days back. Wife n kid got it first and then I got it 2 days later .My son had high fever around 103 . But he recovered in 2 days and hasn't had fever since . Gave him paracetamol drops for kids only . Wife had mild fever , throat rash and weakness . Her fever went away after first day but it took around 5 days for throat rash and weakness to go away . I had asymptomatic COVID and was fine throughout. A lot of my relatives in Gujarat and Maharashtra got COVID . Most had mild fever and recovered in 2/3 days . Two of my Uncle's had minor lung infection and had to be admitted in hospital but are now discharged and doing fine . But my Mausa ji got covid (78/79 yrs old) . Had to be admitted in hospital . After 5 days doctor said we need to do bypass surgery . Surgery was successful at the time . But he died the next morning . So yeah def not mild for everyone . Also people seem to forget that while Omicron is the dominant variant around - Delta variant still exists . And older people especially those with comorbidity are still at risk .

Yes you can download all games on external hard drives and move them to internal hdd later . You cannot play next gen games or games optimized for Series X/S via external hdd. But Some games like Fifa 21 have 2 versions available for download ( shown separately on gamepass) 1) optimised for XSX/S and 2) Xbox one version You need to download the Xbox one version - that can be played via external hdd.

My playtime last year was 325 hours approx on Xbox and 100 hours on Nintendo switch ( calculated it manually last year ) . The division was like this- 220 plus hours in Jan/Aug when my wife and son were out of town (Her parents place) 150+ hours in Apr/May peak lockdown. Barely played at all rest of the year

Nowhere he's calling GOW/HZD/GT(yet to be released) as not big guns. He's clearly saying Sony needs to release them ( Big guns) first . I am not surprised by these numbers either. Xbox as a brand is almost non existent in India . PlayStation is the only brand as far as casual gamers are concerned . One they know about and want to buy . XSS with gamepass is much better vfm deal but if it's not advertised or priced properly (for XSS) then it won't sell simple . Also regards to PS4 vs PS5 sales - When PS4 was launched in India in 2014 - 40k for a gaming console was considered huge. In 2021 - 50k for PS5 doesn't seem that expensive to many people . Lockdown and WFH scenario definitely helped in boosting the demand for PS5 as well .

Yeah lockdown may lead to more deaths than the virus itself . And most governments are more worried about the burden on the healthcare system with severe staff shortages and rising hospitalization numbers due to crazy high numbers of cases .

No denying we are headed for a very rough couple of months but then again I fully believe the government (both central and state) will carry on with this COVID variant is 'Mild' narrative and we have made all preparations to deal with it and hence may not implement a complete lockdown. The cost of a complete lockdown for state governments will be very high both financially and politically - say if Delhi/Maharashtra government impose a full lockdown then the opposing parties will bury them alive .

Its a question of when not if . Most other countries are reporting cases higher than 2x of their previous peak on a regular basis now . You can expect a similar pattern to emerge in India as well where we may also report more than 5L+ cases per day by February. But even those countries haven't gone in a lockdown so I doubt India will take that step unless it becomes a absolute necessity . Also state/central government cannot say that this variant is 'Mild' and then impose a complete lockdown. If they impose lockdown they will have to admit situation is serious which no government will do (for political reasons )

We may not see a complete lockdown like earlier . Weekend lockdowns and reduced working hours will surely be implemented all over India .
