Since my need is for a 6 seater, EV doesn't fit the bill. Plus we still need tons of *working* charging stations on most highways, let alone cities.

It's a long term bet atm.

Oh okay . Yeah no 6 seater option available in EV now . And yeah EV can mostly be used in cities only as of now . Q

  2. Yeah all companies raised prices around April and are raising it again .

Buying an EV right now especially if you are living in states like Maha , Delhi is still a good idea .

These states are giving a cash rebate of upto 1/1.5 lakhs directly in your bank account .

GST on EV is only 5%

And Also RTO charges are flat 6k or so for all EV's .

  3. So wanted to buy an Electric Car - I was all ready to buy Nexon EV .

But family was against it saying there's no charging infrastructure in our city although I explained car company will install Charging point at our home and since we would mostly use this car for city purpose only 200-250km/full charge range in a small city like Indore will last for more than a week.

  4. The taxes on Cars :fever:

Purchased Maruti S cross Zeta Automatic few days back . Collected the full invoice today.

Total Ex showroom cost 10.98L after consumer offer .

    Amount paid to company 7.57L

    CGST 14% 1.06L

    SGST 14% 1.06L

    CESS 17%  1.286L

Total taxes paid 3.41L at ex showroom cost.

RTO charges and other charges - 1.13L

To buy a car which company is selling for 7.57L I had to pay 12.1L.

4.53L in taxes and registration .

Not to forget you have already paid 20/30% income tax .

You need to earn at least 15L to buy a car of 7.5L

Tax incidence of 50% or higher .

Edit: 108 Rs/ltr petrol ( of which over 60 Rs is in taxes ) hurts a lot as well.

  5. Why don't we all stop worrying about hardware sales , future of subscription services and financial results of gaming companies etc etc.

All these talks are getting old and boring and no one benefits/gains any knowledge . You can discuss for pages with different view points but at the end of the day everyone's opinion remains the same (which was already made up in their mind even before discussion begins )

Just enjoy the different gaming choices on offer and pay for whatever you like .

I use us account to use ps now. Works fine . Cant stream but can download that whole catalouge.

VPN doesnt work for streaming . For downloading you dont even need VPN. Works flawlessly

I think he meant for streaming.

Yeah I have a US PSN account as well and tried PS Now earlier myself .

Just don't understand why Sony hasn't launched this service in India officially .

What 1k? Bruh we are like 1800-2000 here . 1k is what we got today for just one day. But the issue is the main city has hardly 200-300 cases . But because everything is combine as whole we are not allowed to open

Ya atleast they can go to shop and try to sell something.
here shop is closed and im getting electricity bills of 600 inspite of being not a single light being turned on lol !

i wonder what people with low savings might be going through .

Yeah those with low savings are facing real hardship . Quite a few had to sell gold to meet hospital and other expenses.

Also since last year huge number of business which were on rent have closed and haven't opened up again .

They don't see India as an important market for the Playstation brand, simple.

Just like how they ignored India when PS5 stock was precious, which was probably "rationed" off to more profitable markets.

India is a very teeny tiny market for videogames, that's why.

Yeah that's true . But it's not like they have to do much work to launch the service here . Add few more servers to support downloading that's it .

They don't make much from India because physical sales make for majority of the sales and used games market is so big and accessible that huge majority don't buy new games at all .

If they were to launch PS NOW here lots of parents and young kids might subscribe for 4k/5k a year for huge catalogue of games . As it would appear much better than buying new games 3/3.5k everytime .

    Kolhapur/Maharashtra .

Its long and the main part is we still have zero clue when it will open up

Other cities like Nagpur , Mumbai , Pune in Maharashtra have opened up since almost a month though . Granted it's with restrictions but still at least they are able to do some business

Man this is some stupid a*s sh*t. We were only allowed to open 5 days in last 3 + months . If 3rd wave is indeed true we are FXXXXX . wont be surprised if this increases robing and other criminal activities.

    Man that's too long . Which City/State?

Try using a vpn. Just as some guys are using xcloud.

I said "officially" like Gamepass is .

And like Shantz said you don't need a VPN just a US PSN account and for funds either use Amazon or cdkeys or buy from Al Pacino(an old ivg user )/his friend now . He generally has better rates than Amazon .

Guys here can access PS Now if they want to .. it's about making it officially available through their Playstore for all of India .

It's pretty decent offering now at reduced prices(60$ a year) and better catalogue with download available for PS4 and PS2

(streaming only for PS3 games )

Seriously don't understand why Sony hasn't launched it officially here .
