Agreed . The launch delay and launch price of 600$ was a huge disaster .
PS3 did catch up but it did not win the generation . Lifetime Sales of both consoles PS3 and Xbox360 were neck and neck at the end .

Don't think these customer support guys have the authority to do this kind of thing - refund difference amount between what was charged for the product ordered and cost of product actually delivered .
They can only offer full refund in case of return .

Yeah it does . You only get 364 GB of actual storage which you can use and its way too low
. Also If you buy 1 TB external SSD your total cost is equal to Price of series X .
Definitely think they missed a trick by not making it 1TB SSD and could have sold for 350 USD or so

Most of is sold out everywhere . Granted it doesn't get sold out nowhere near as fast as PS5 but it does get sold out .
Again please share your sources/facts for the sales numbers of Series X/S
Pricing in India is definitely not right. 500$ Series X is selling in India for 50k and 300$ series S is selling for 35k .
Also it's not 512 mb , it's 512 GB and yes that's the biggest drawback according to me . Fact that it doesn't have a disk drive is not a big issue . Those in US/EU don't care much and almost 80% of revenue comes from digital sales for Sony and MS .

Also Xbox series S is very good console and it's definitely next gen .
It's actually better than Xbox one X in many things . Better CPU , Ram may be 2GB less but it's of high MHz hence better perfomance and it supports all next gen features like ray tracing in games but at 2k resolution . It also has quick resume feature and vastly improved load times due to SSD.
One X has more powerful GPU and can play games at 4k but the architecture is old hence graphics are not that great when played at 4k.
The real major drawback is 512GB SSD which is way too less . Unlike everyone here on IVG there are many who don't have 4k TV and still enjoy HD gaming .
For them Series S would have been perfect to play on gamepass if only it had 1TB SSD .

Its known fact xbox doesn't sell much outside of NA and EU regions .
Also sales in other parts of the world are good . Almost 6 mil consoles sold . Now it's much less than PS5 - 9 mil consoles which is the fastest selling console in history. And even MS knows.and accepts it won't match Sony numbers .
Series S certainly sold more units than Series X in India but no way to how much compared it sold compared to Series X globally m

Still don't understand why Sony hasn't officially launched PS Now in India .
They made majority of the games available for download 2/3 years ago on PS4 so no problem of streaming/connectivity issues.
Also why not bundle PS now with PS plus and offer a better deal which people would find it hard to ignore .

Btw official death count due to covid crossed 4 lakhs in the country today.
Close to 2.5 lakhs people died in the second wave in 3 months as per official estimates. While in wave 1 official death count was 1.5 lakhs in 6 months from July to Dec .
Actual toll is way higher as we all know .

I agree vaccinating a country with population like ours is a huge task , but claiming moral victory on absolute numbers doesn't change the reality that unless we can fully vaccinate a huge number of our population like 50% we wouldn't be able to return to normalisation like other countries have .
Also If only this report was based on Vaccinations done , India would have definitely ranked higher.
It also depends on severity of lockdown , current covid status* in the country , quality of life, vaccinated travel route and more .
