I think discount is only on credit cards. In case it is on both, yes you can split, but will still need to spend minimum spend required which is usually 3-5K
Yes, splitting the bill is gonna be fine, I'll have 10k minimum in either case.
I think it is 10% discount upto 3K. So splitting should save me 6k.

In the upcoming sale, we have 10% off with an SBI card. So if I split my order into two, can I claim the discount twice once with a debit and once with a credit card?
Hope sale prices are really good.

I paid 800 for it, and still have 11 months of it left. 800 RS in my opinion is easily recoverable, I ate with my family at a Radisson restaurant and with starter/main course costing 600-700 you could say I recovered the entire thing in one eat-out.Gold is now for 700 for an year.
Still not worth it imo

All of us got it using that deal a month back, that sucks.I was actually screwed. The time I bought it we had to use some coupon to get 1000 cashback on the membership by paying 1800. I goofed up and forgot to add the coupon and ended up paying 1800 for it
And now almost all of the good restaurants that had gold on delivery in my area have been removed. f**ked up policies by Zomato!
Couldn't you have cancelled the membership and re-started it with the code?

Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 ₹151
A physical copy of Horizon Zero Dawn was going for 151/- only?
I mean it's not expensive otherwise but that's crazy cheap.
Also I received a Zomato Gold voucher code today, for my HDFC Regalia card.
I already have a membership, so will stack on top of it, extending my membership?

Anyone here has any knowledge/experience on a Trip to Vietnam. To and fro flights are cheaper than what I imagined them to be. Considering it for my next trip.

Vacation or business?
My cousin went on a trip to Vietnam a year or two back, supposedly you can buy a glass of local beer for damn cheap from roadside vendors. I think he took a trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh....

No worries.
The thing you need to know about Hotstar though is that it's video quality is sh*t when compared to the alternative
Great, I'll watch your recommendations

Yup and Yup.
And True Detective is also exclusive to Hotstar.
Ahh man my Netflix and Prime Video has been sitting around for months, I dont wanna get another subscription, Id rather watch what I have.
I might torrent it like I used to a year or two back, but then whats the point of paying for any subscriptions xD
Though, I might get Hotstar at some point, I wanna watch GoT and I only have the first 4 season downloaded so thanks for the recommendations, I'll check em out if I get Hotstar

Isn't Chernobyl specific to Hotstar?True Detective Season 1 (it's self-contained so you can safely skip the next two seasons which aren't as good)
Mindhunter
Chernobyl
True Detective is the one with Matthew McConnaughey and Woody Harrelson right?

Yo guys, can I get a couple of TV show recommendations? Preferably stuff that isn't 12 seasons long or something crazy. I'm cool with 3-4 seasons.
Recommend whatever you've liked best, I haven't really seen much TV shows. Only seen Peaky Blinders. Please also mention which streaming service its on.
I have access to Prime and Netflix, might as well use it.
@Joe Cool gave me a list once, but we lost that forum data unfortunately.

Are there any cycling routes, or like trails specific to cyclists in your city? I ride a BTwin Riverside, and cycle about 10-12 kms everyday within my colony, or sometimes on actual roads in the off hours.
I take plenty of road trips in my family, and I was thinking if I had a foldable cycle I could fit it in the trunk and explore by cycle when we go on trips sometimes....

About 2k a month should be good value, but it really depends on your needs. For eg the gym I go to is right next to my building, so I don't need shower or locker or change of cloths, and the gym doesn't have those anyway so it costs like 1.5k a months. If you go to the gym with those facilities plus sauna etc, and if they have bunch of machines so you don't have to wait even at peak hours, you might have to shell out 4k or more. They're usually cheaper if you go for 3/6/12 month memberships, but you have to commit for that long. Otherwise its even bigger waste of money.
Here's a little tip to tell the trainers to not bother you without being rude, wear headphone/earbuds, play something loud and completely zone out. Nobody bothers a guy in the gym with headphones and starring into a void while doing reps.
Thanks for the tip haha.
Yeah gyms in my area go from 1.5K to 3K at most I think. I think Im gonna join one where Id have a friend though xD
-
Well thanks guys. Also how should a gym membership for 1 month cost ideally? We have quite the spectrum in terms of pricing in my area.
I'll give it a shot, just stick to cardio for the first month, hopefully the trainer isnt super pushy (like you guys have said they dont give an F) which is exactly what Im looking for.

Every trainer is like that, they won't help you unless you pay them, they are there to make money.
And in the starting everything will seem random.
People don't quit because of the trainer, that's just an excuse. They quit because they don't have the will power or the dedication.
You can always change trainers and gyms, there is no lack of options.
You don't have to start with heavy weights, you won't even be able to. Start with cardio and with 2.5kg weights, or atleast start with cardio.
But do it asap, you will regret in future if you don't.
Pay the trainer? Is that not included in the gym fee? Can you join the gym, and not have to bother with a trainer at all?
That way I could just go and just use the treadmill and the elliptical thingy without someone dictating what I need to do. At least in the beginning.

Happy New Year Ivgians!
I have been going to the gym for a few weeks now. The trainer is always on his mobile and gives 0 support.
I am just doing basic weights, 5 kgs for each part and am not too confident with what I am doing.
Oooh I've been wanting to join the gym for some time now but I'm always intimidated. A friend of mine who goes to the gym quit after 2 weeks cus supposedly the trainer was really medley and made him do random exercises whenever he wanted to.
Is it okay to go the gym but not lift weights? I just wanna go get a bit tired and get my heart racing thats it.

Na on the bike, and I would like my own video while riding. Anyway I think we have done enough OT, maybe a drone thread can be created once we have few of us who have it.
Good idea haha, Im not gonna have access to my dad's drone for quite a while, if you get some footage upload it to a video hosting site and we'll have ourselves a drone thread

There are some insane unique interactions that likely huge % of people won't be able to find in their travels. There are so many interesting things to find in this world. Rockstar games truly went to great lengths here.
I agree. Its a marvel to play. Wish they would remake RDR1 with RDR2 graphics and game mechanics, I never played the original, though I do know the basic story.

Actually to make some good videos while I am riding on secluded roads, it can be handy, but obstruction sensors were much more important. You can easily crash the mini or hurt someone. I also took the dji care refresh package to be safe.

Yes but that can be substituted with somebody else driving the car while you fly the drone along the road from the passenger seat.
My dad sometimes gets a DJI Mavic from the company for work purposes and its honestly a joy to fly it around
Also even with the obstruction sensors you'll see drones flying into trees and rocks on Youtube. Perhaps this will serve as motivation to be a careful drone pilot haha

Yes true, and just not India I can fly it pretty much everywhere abroad too, no need to register no permission needed. Only downside obstruction sensor and follow me function is missing, well you can't have everything.
But awesome fun to fly this drone have got some real nice footage.

The follow me function isn't something one uses that much anyway

Great - this was good to hear. My friends basically had told me essentially detach the blades and put it in the checking while we have the actual drone in the carry on. But seeing that you have retained packaging as well I now want to buy it in Frankfurt on my way to Iceland :-)
Vacationining in Iceland? I've seen drone footage (from the Mavic Mini haha) and it looks beautiful!

Don't have ICICI unfortunately.
I have access to SBI HDFC and Axis, usually these are the ones with the discounts
Well at least I can use the SBI CC once, I plan to buy a camera so that'll save me some cash.
