HDFC instead I think. Apply for Regalia, its pretty good card to have imo. Don't think deals are much good, just plan to get a 4K Firestick -
Ahh yes thats what I thought. I know you are talking about The Last Wish, but there is another collection of short stories as well, The Sword of Destiny. Since that came later, the translation from Polish is probably solid. Haven't read Witcher yet, but its on my radar for sure
-
Insane how cheap the entire collection of Witcher is! Also I had heard the translation is pretty solid! maybe I heard wrong, or maybe its from the first novel Blood of Elves.... Happy reading!

What you bought this week - 2021 edition

Haha lol I've passed you then I'm a third of the way through Book 12! Bought 'em all from Amazon. I didn't feel the slog as much, but Book 10 was definitely a bit of a snoozefest. Enjoy New Spring, definitely a breath of fresh air! and Knife of Dreams is some of the best I've read -
Bro I've already read New Spring, it was a fun break from the series in a way I'm really enjoying 12 at the moment. Easily my favourite so far, but nothing like it if Book 13 and 14 can top this. I've never been much of an Egwene fan, but for once I'm rooting so hard for Egwene, this arc is fantastic. That is what I have also heard on the internet. Still, I've heard 13 is fantastic anyway! We'll see Predictions -
-
Finished Book 11, and started Book 12. Currently reading Egwene's arc in The Gathering Storm. Hands down already looking like the best book in the series, and my personal BEST READ for 2021! Also: Loving the Kindle Oasis, much thanks for the encouragement @roun90

The most popular scifi series right now, final book coming out soon. https://www.amazon.in/Leviathan-Wakes-Expanse-James-Corey/dp/0316129089/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=leviathan+wakes&qid=1625580033&sr=8-1

I'll be honest, I like the show more than the books Thats very rare tbh, but Expanse is solid. I haven't finished it yet, will get back to it next month.

Yes, I've been using my old kindle for about 10 years now. Anyway it didn't have any backlight or touch, it was super old. I find myself reading a lot more ever since the quarantine started, you can see I'm reading through Wheel of Time right now. So definitely worth the upgrade in my opinon. I'd pick this over the Paperwhite for the page turn buttons, and the warm light option (which is better than most phones honestly) I think you'd be well served with an upgrade to the Kindle Oasis. Your old one might be fine but once you use the Oasis you'll feel the difference.

Used it for about 2 days now. I also upgraded from a 10-year old Kindle (which had no backlight/touch at all). The Oasis is a pleasure to use and read on. As far as the massive price difference goes, it depends on you. If you read casually, a book every couple months here and there, you'll be fine with the Paperwhite. But if you find yourself reading everyday, even for 15-20 minutes, 100% worth getting the Oasis. Plus I read mostly at night before bed, and the warm lighting makes a lot of difference. Picked up a new case of Amazon, much better (and cheaper) than the official Amazon ones- -
Bought a Kindle Oasis. Should make things a lot easier! Hoping to read just as much if not more for the second half of the year

switch to kindle and forget all your worries meanwhile I still buy books even after buying on kindle first -
This. PS+ pricing is best example, regional pricing for the win!

I think there was someone selling a code, you can put up a WTB thread. Some people may have bought extra during the sale. Usually the sale price repeats again for Black Friday.

Yes, but because it is through amazon, grievance resolution is lightning fast. If you buy imported books frequently, BookDepository is a good option. The prices won't be any cheaper, but they have literally everything in whatever edition and cover and hardback/paperback. Plus free international shipping, they're essentially a subsidiary of Amazon US for books. Always worth a look. - Amazon Sellers I get books from: Cloudtail, Bookswagon, Peacock, Sunrise, Atlantic, U-Read, to name a few. Never had any trouble, but I order solely through amazon's website itself. -
Fiction you can try Daisy Jones and the Six. Its one of my favourites. Non-fiction I'd highly recommend Bad Blood. Birdy highly recommends this one too!

I'm on Axis CC, but haven't had this issue before, so not very sure. I order books on basically a weekly basis and I do it all through Amazon. Customer service is top notch. I'm finicky about books, and I got one with the corner mushed. Amazon sent a replacement next day, no complaints. Thanks for informing, will avoid this site. Also avoid ChapterOne online bookstore. They're also horrible, TOOK 10 months to deliver 2 books. -
I didn't like the book either. The timeline is super confusing. Will be resubbing for Ted Lasso S2, will watch some more stuff when I do. Will skip Lisey's Story
-
Apple TV+ adapted Stephen King's Lisey's Story. Starring Julianne Moore. Got to know about this just now!
-
Start from scratch? Also, I don't think we can even add feedback right now so don't think thats possible......
-
It is based on the books by Bernard Cornwell - The Saxon Stories. Its historical *fiction*. 100% the most underrated show on Netflix. My current favourite, hyped for the fifth and final season! +1 to this. Episode 3 is fantastic, the rest are garbage. It is standalone in nature, so one can watch Episode 3 by itself.
