Well looking at the situation, there aren't any trips in the foreseeable future. However I did get the chance to visit Kashmir in early, when the situation was somewhat stable. no. show might be decent but at the end of the day its basically an unacademy ad. you're not alone, I couldn't watch episode 2 because of the constant ads. they try to force it into the rhythm of the show but it doesn't work.

yeah makes no sense. we did the video kyc, the woman didn't say anything's wrong. she just said you'll get the confirmation via email in a few days, but it got declined. maybe its because the amazon account is mine, but I applied for my dad cuz I don't think I can get that card myself while being a student. But if that works on your sister's acc, then that can't be the reason. don't think I'll bother again frankly. I'll take whatever reward points I can get on my card and thats that.

Nope. We don't have any ICICI accounts. I uploaded the documents and did the application in my dad's name. There is no reason for it to get declined but thats what happened. I'll just take the rewards points on my axis card for now. It just said I can now only apply again after 6 months, so I said screw it. Haven't been ordering much from Amazon now, and any big purchases are during sale when there is HDFC/SBI card discount. But I might apply again after 6 months.

Finished The Shadow Rising and The Fires of Heaven, Book 4 and 5 of Wheel of Time. Might be able to speed through Lord of Chaos this month too, lets see. Book 4 was the best one so far, for sure, Book 5 was also pretty good.

There is no sale atm, but card discount with SBI is there till 20th. Its capped at 1500/- for max. discount so its not much but its something. From what I have seen, sales are usually there in the latter half of the year. From Independence Day sale to Republic Day sale, everything else in between. This half of the year is pretty dry.

You can get a 4k tv in that range if you add 3-4 k more lots to choose from - TCL/Toshiba/Sanyo etc. One Plus tvs won't be much superior to these brands. I already have a 55" Samsung 4K TV in my living room. Need a smaller TV for the bedroom, and don't want to spend too much money. Also don't have trust in these TCL/Sanyo/etc funky brands, I'd rather stick to Samsung/Sony/LG but OnePlus TV was a bit cheaper...

its basically a week long lockdown for us? starting 10PM tonight? I thought if they used the word 'curfew' we'd have restricted timings or something. Either way, probably needed this. Should've done it sooner, but better late than never.
