I'm more than half way through the book, but I find Shallan's chapters to be the most boring. Act 3 of the book is mostly about Shallan & Kaladin and I'm so tempted to simply skip Shallan's chapters (but i guess i would be missing some key pieces of the plot by doing that).
I know man, I find Shallan a bit annoying myself. Don't skip her though, it is important. You'll like her more soon. Plus Shallan's portions have Jasnah in them.
I personally find Kaladin's chapters so interesting that Shallan gets overshadowed.
Also don't underestimate Sanderson. Dalinar and Adolin's portions are gonna get real spicy soon enough

The local cable wallah is good but the speed has become relatively unstable since lockdown. That's always an option to fall back on. Also, airtel is not bad either. 40 mbps unlimited speed doesn't sound that bad for 1200 in Mumbai. Airtel has great cc and reliability from what I know.
The cable ISP is really good barring the temporary issues though. Once I got IP banned and he fixed it by giving me a new IP once I explained him the issue.
I get 60 on the 5Ghz band, and 30-35 mpbs on 2GHz band. It shows NAT Type 2 on PS4 for me, and I pay a 1000/- for a month to local cable walla. I'm in Noida.
I just don't want to go into the hassle because its moderately reliable for me, and if I have issues I call the guy and he gets it fixed within an hour or two.

Sadak 2 is THE most cringe worthy film I have ever watched in my life.
I think the trailer and all that buzz with the dislikes was fair warning to skip the 3 hour cringefest

Its 8 for the month. I read On the Fence. Haven't read something this good in the YA section for a long, long time. Fantastic book.
I skipped PS4 these past 10 days to be more productive, and ended up reading wayy too much.

I'd say you cant force this sh*t, people have to be sensible. The man already forced us into lockdown for over a month, you'd think people would get the logic behind it and apply it to their own lives, and not go out/wear masks when going out.
You can take the horse to the lake, but you can't make him drink. I still don't think opening up Delhi Metro again is a good idea, but thats a story for another day.

At least where I see (Noida), masks wearers are less than non mask peeps.
You're right. I don't see anyody wearing masks. People in society are hanging out like normal. I'm already getting invites saying lets head to Chilli's once DLF (MOI) opens up

I don't blame the government, but I don't think they should open malls and cinemas and stuff, because people are dying to go.
We could get 100K cases a day, and people would still go.

Ya will get the air 2, in one of my next trips. I think best will be to register it when you get it abroad, and then tell customs that it is already registered. Importing Drone is still a hassle, and if customs stop you, you might need to do a good bit of explaining.
Alright, will keep that in mind. Thanks

Can someone say why Ikea is only in Hyderabad? I think they have online service in Mumbai also but not sure.
I wish they'd at least deliver to Delhi lol
Nice Purchase @Pacifier

Yes now that all drone need to be registered better to get the Air, i also got mini thinking won't need to register. I might as well upgrade by end of year, miss the forward obstacle detection in Mini, plus no follow me recording option.
Yeah the whole point of the Mini was kind of to avoid the whole registration thing. If its easy enough to do, will go with the Air. The obstacle detection is kind of critical imo.
Upgrading to Air? My brother lives in London, so considering asking him to get one next year, or if I can go myself will bring.
Any downside to buying from abroad?
My dad's Phantom 4 was from the US, but it was on the company so price or warranty issues wasn't a factor.

"Nano RPA are currently exempt from registration, import licenses as well as NPNT compliance. You can fly your RPA up to 50 ft and in enclosed premises, today! Please do not forget to read our Do’s and Don'ts."
@AtheK Picked this up from the website you shared above. Nano RPA of course, being under 250 gm. But yes, registration is always a good idea. If registration process is same irrespective of what kind of drone, one might as well get the Mavic Air?
My dad used a drone (Phantom 4 Pro, old model) for work stuff occasionally, so it was registered before I got my hands on it.
I wonder if India has regulations in place for flying drones in national parks and such. I've taken my drone to Gir and Corbett and the like, but not just fly it into the forests lol. Try to fly outside the marked areas just in case. Haven't had it since a year now, might buy one from abroad next year if travel opens up again.

Are drones legal to fly at the moment? I remember that they were baned?
Sent from my ASUS_I001DE using Tapatalk
That drone is the DJI Mavic Mini, sits at 249 gm. 250 gm is the limit lol.
So yes, you can fly around the Mavic Mini. This restriction is also applicable in European countries and Canada now.

Bro I get that, but corona isnt going anywhere till the end of year. If they delay exams to Jan 2020 its an automatic drop semester for everyone, as the semester lasts from Aug to Dec 2020.
Although i really dont know what is right or wrong in this situation.
1. With regard to the flood and transport situation. COVID ain't going anywhere, postponement basis is different.
2. True, so lets just hope SC knows what its doing

I do get your point, but either way if they cancel the entrance it will still be a drop year for everyone, even those who are not remotely located. Think about how frustrating and taxing it will be for these students.
Even those who are remotely located did not ask for cancellation, rather postponement.
Cancelling exams is a door in the face to all students who've diligently been preparing for 2-3 years.
The review petition filed in SC an hour back is also for postponement only, not cancellation.

I just hope we don't see suicides due to this lame a*s ruling. The judges are sitting in their air conditioned homes, giving virtual ruling, while the cattle class is supposed to travel hundreds and thousands of kilometres and risk their lives to give entrance exams in venues which might be flooded.
This is just f**ked up.
As it is, the pressure for an entrance exam is already extreme, specially medical and enginnering. Add to that the killer point that more than half of the participants might not be able to even sit for the exam, and it paints a bleak picture of how out of touch our elite jury is with reality.
Lol you are behind the times man. There are at least 11 kids less now than we started with, its all over Youtube.
Yeah, thats what people are complaining about. SC conducts hearing over video and stuff and gives a declaration for students to walk out into the virus lmao.
I'm not saying I agree with it, I'm saying that the jury are supposed to the sensible people. You're supposed to have faith in the courts, even if one does not have faith in the government.
I have my faith in both, but for once I am surprised with the ruling lol.
With regard to exam centres they will supposedly provide an exam center in every district from where students are giving exams, essentially trying to cut away the long distance transport problem itself, not sure how effective this will be though.
Anyway, I think its straying away from what the thread is intended for.
Exams will happen, don't think the Supreme Court review petition will change anything. Lets see the numbers after the exams i.e 14th September onwards.
