  1. Where the hell is that place? I have been to like every nook and corner of koramangala, never found it. not even listed in HungryZone website, not on google maps either.

Its on that lane where Corner House is.. Koramangala 7th Block

  2. are those taken by you?

    tht is pure talent ashrith

    Thanks !

^^ thats not so difficult. Use the macro mode in your camera

Yup  Macro mode does fantastically mind blowing stuff to your pics :bash:

^^ A camera is only as good as the photographer dude. Someone who lacks the sense of framing cant do anything even if you hand him over a Leica. So, macro mode or any other mode, it doesnt matter if the pics are good.

Ashrith - the 3rd looks nice; and the 2nd one could have used a little background, no? Which camera do you have, btw?

Angad - 5D Mark II for hobbying around? But, seriously, your clicks are very Pro, dude.

I do agree on the 2nd one, the background is weak :( I have a Canon SX110IS Semi-pro, though its a point-and-shoot :nerves:

@ ashrith ... y did u invert the first pic

the one in your facebook looks better

The original is actually inverted :chair: I had to lay on the ground below the tap to get that shot

I got the pics printed too

  3. saw the droid

its a good phone...but almost same as the hero ..interms of UI and hardware..only the processor is faster...an d droid 2.0 for which we will have to see wht the new features are/.otherwise from all videos it looks same as hero...just hero has the sense UI on top..

What are you saying dude ?! The Hero has that HTC chin going down the device, the Droid is plain candybar, and its running 2.0 !

Anyone seen the other Motorola device, Calagary with the BLUR UI ? It actually looks like crap :wallbash:

  4. Sweet, and this looks to be even better deal than 3gs. But one thing i don't understand is, why can't Nokia get rid of their resistive touchscreen ?

The crap Symbian OS isn't capable of that right now  But yeah, Maemo 6 is gonna support capacitative touchscreens, I just hope they make some good devices to go with it :(

I suggest you take a look at the HTC Hero as well, if you're really keen on blowing up ~ 30k :threatenlumber:

  5. Rushwa, even if you do happen to screw up during the update process, coz of some undeniable reason, you just need to take it to your nearest Nokia Care center, tell them that the phone isn't coming on for reasons unknown to you (don't mention that you screwed up during the update process), and its not coming on ever since. They're gonna take an hour or two at max and flash your phone with the latest software :D Happened to me when I used to have a Nokia N78, which had an FM Transmitter, which was in fact, restricted by software. I happened to screw up the update and took it to the Care centre, and voila ! FM Transmitter enabled :wOOtjumpy:

EDIT: @Omar, I happened to come across an Ad on TV featuring the E72, for 23k :P

  6. What are you saying buddy blackberry plans are so cheap now 299 rupees

please read my post where you can unlock it easily. RIM has the best patent email solution in the world.

Those days are gone where a blackberry was only used for a emailing solution check out the bold the javelin and upcoming blackberry ONYX

^^totally agree...BB is now a great social networking phone as well with apps like facebook coming preloaded on most...also with 299 plan, I can be online on all my Instant messengers like gtalk/yahoo etc all the time...

Only emails and IM in that plan, no Twitter, no Facebook, no Internet Browsing on the go, only if you have WiFi. For access to all other services, you need to pay INR 899 per month

Methinks the 8520 Gemini is. Retailing for around 15-16K.

INR 14,990 Official price, unlocked

  7. thanks guys... 8520 seems to be the right choice.. even it suits my budget... but it is without 3G (it doesn't matter in India)

but 8520 is Airtel locked.. can it be unlocked like iPhone ?

To unlock BBs you just need to purchase unlock codes and enter them in the phone, which are specific to each phone, from sites like CellUnlock

  8. guys how good is a Blackberry phone, i have never used a BB before and i am planning to buy one .... which the best BB phone.. and will i be able to install different Apps and games for it ?

    pls suggest

Get the 8900 Curve [iNR 24,000] or if you're low on budget, get the 8520 Curve [iNR 15,000]

Yeah, you can install different Applications and Games, which you can purchase from the BlackBerry App World or Mobihand

  9. :fear: thts the point! You can find absinthe everywhere in EU :P Thats where even i fell for it!

I doubt if i can see it for purchase in any of the shops! And in case your friend keeps a lot of it, address plz :hypocrite:
