    Nice. I like the dual swords. But for now, any weapon that can get the job done.

    Detroit is pretty cool, should check it out when it is on sale next or probably get a deal on a disc or something. Plenty of WTF! moments in the game depending on your play style. The Android in the main menu itself is worth the price of admission. Soooo pretty :wub:

    SO got boring after few hours and from what couple of youtubers said (swinging is not skill based like old Spidey games) this will get boring too after 10 hours if all you do is press R2 and X to swing around. Hopefully that's not all you can do.

    SO got boring real quick as well, hope Isomniac has learnt from SO and made this better. I can get why they did not make swinging skill based as that would really put off the casual audience who will be buying this game. But at the same time, I hope they have retained some amount of skill based game-play elsewhere.

     

    Otherwise, after you pull the same execution for the 100th time, you will definitely be bored and this seems to be growing trend with so many games off late.

    Anyone remember Sunset Overdrive? This seems to be that with web slinging for traversal. I loved the traversal in SO and I am sure it is going to be beyond amazing in Spiderman. But is that all that is needed in a 60$ game to justify a buy on Day 1?

     

    Not entirely sure if I will ever get around to finishing it as the story mechanics and all the stuff shown so far just looks like mundane tasks added in to increase the playtime and looks like unnecessary grinding to unlock powers. Hopefully you start off with all the powers and only need to unlock a more badass version of said powers.

     

    Overall, from what has been show so far, it all looks pretty weak. Hope the devs come out with some more videos showing other aspects of the game before release. Otherwise, I am sure that I will tire out from all the webslinging and put this game down to never go back.

     

    But I will definitely be picking this up like I did with SO just to enjoy the traversal. Looks like wait for a sale type of game for me personally or maybe Sony will be kind enough to give another 20% discount code in September. Have put these codes to good use in the past with God of War, Yakuza 6 and Detroit :D

     

    @Joe Cool This is IVG, leave our Sony exclusives alone you monster :lol:

     

    P.S: I also expect this to get higher scores than SO from several reviewers while they draw comparison to SO but never bothering to go into details as to why this is better and deserves the higher score besides the obvious reason :P

    Third party ones are best avoided as they definitely don't work with the dock not will you be able to charge and play at the same time.

     

    Besides checking in the local grey market, you can look at at getting it from amazon.com. After import fees and sipping, it will cost you just under 50$.

    I think we are discussing the point of region locking in this thread right now.

     

    Platforms want to ensure that people can't buy games from other regions for cheap. But Sony went about it the wrong way. Microsoft has kept the content region free but put checks in place which ensures that you can only pay for content from a certain region by using a payment mode from that region.

     

    In short I can have a US Xbox Account, buy content from the US store using Xbox gift card only as Indian credit cards won't work and buy content from the Indian store using my Indian Credit Card. Any and all content I buy will work together irregardless of the source of purchase.

     

    You can freely switch between various regions on the same account as well thus eliminating the need for creating duplicate accounts like some do for PSN (one for US, one for India, one for Indonesia etc.)

     

    FYI: Turkey seems to be the cheapest region to buy digital games on XBOX and you can do price comparison on http://xbox-now.com/and for PS you can compare prices on http://psprices.com/

    Black Friday deal most probably. But PSN plus prices have always been more than Xbox Live Gold. You can always try Pacino, he sold me a few PSN Plus codes a while back for 2-2.5k. I am set till 2019 and I don't even play any MP on PS :lol:

    You can buy Indonesian region credit from a 3rd party and redeem it. Yes, all games are in English. 

     

    Library is not just limited to the PS+ games, your DLC and any and all game saves won't work as well if you have previously played from US store.

    PSN region locking is sh*t. :( Don't have these issues on the Xbox One thankfully.

     

    Also, did a quick check on pricing. It is all over the place, some games are dirt cheap and some not so much. Your mileage will vary greatly depending on what you buy and when. Preorders especially for games like Anthem is ridiculously high and even Spiderman is quite expensive. But God of war which is on discount on the store right now is for around 2400rs but on the US store it is for 50$ which should translate to 2500rs if you can pick up PSN US credits for cheap enough (50 Rs a dollar or lower).

     

    In the long run I personally feel that it will be better to stick with the US store as it gets a lot more content, sales and offers as compared to any other store.  

    This works best if you can have your primary PSN ID as a US ID and play games of that and share this with a friend who can setup his console as primary PS4. Now you can split the cost with your friend and enjoy a brand new game for 1500rs or lower on day one. What more could you possibly want? :D

    I have no idea what I saw, it was almost as if you walked into a theater while the movie has already started, watch a few minutes then move to the next hall and watch a few more minutes and then move to the next hall to watch a few more minutes of some other movie altogether.

     

    I wonder who the editor was for this trailer and what sort of instructions he received to put this clip together.

    You guys should really watch some Samurai Champloo to get in the groove. If you don't have the time to invest in watching an anime series then checkout Sword of the Stranger. Both are epic and please oh please only watch them with Japanese VO.
