    United need to buy someone who will be will to stay for a good while dammit!

    As much as I love the Dutch( My favorite football team) and think they play excellent attacking football, they really don't have too many qualms about switching clubs.

    And I know it's a lifestyle choice in the modern age but I'd still prefer someone who stays.

    Look at Sneijder, he's ready to go back to Madrid. :|

     

    Oh damn that guy is a nut... Actually he is just thinking of following Mourinho wherever he goes... :P Thats a freakin disease nowadays... Every player joins a club becomes a star and wants to leave. They give stupid quotes like "Its my dream, my DNA" blah blah blah. The best bet would be english players, i guess. They are not too gung-ho about changing clubs and countries. But no good english strikers around.

    United Fans, my Bros, Big news coming thru

    I was on talking reds just now n saw this-

    Bosnian press is reporting that the deal for Dzeko cld be done within next 48 Hrs.

    Some guy close to Dzeko died do they've put it on hold till d funeral

    hope we sign him by Saturday

    I even have him in my FIFA 10 Ultimate Team squad n he's my best Goal Scorer

     

    I heard these kinda rumours a lot re... At one point in time i have read things like Huntelaar was seen in Sir Alex Ferguson's mansion and shitty stuff like that... I will wait till i get some concrete news on that one. I still feel we must buy Suarez instead... He is a good versatile player who is adept as a front man and a winger and is a good free kick taker which we sorely lack.

     

    @Nemo: Huntelaar needs some time re... He is a good finisher. Even Dirk Kuyt is good. He literally carried Liverpool last season... :)

    I watched many Ajax matches lat season n Luis Suarez is Friggin' awesome

    but d the problem is that he is rated above 40mil n I don't think SAF will spend that much on one player

    I wld prefer Dzeko any given day to Benzema

    He's physically stronger than him, can head better n is just a notch more suited to EPL than Benzema

     

    u know what I just want new players at OT this season. Not young blood like Smalling, Chicarito but a bit more proven players. Just someone SAF

     

    I don't think we'll buy anyone b4 d end of d WC

     

    Ya. Silva has mentioned that he would consider United if they make a bid. Suarez would be a fool to decline our offer. 40mp is too much i think Ajax will settle for 25mp.

     

    The age old policy of Manchester United to carry out their deals in a very quiet manner is the reason why we united fans are feeling restless. It almost looks as if we aint interested in any of these players but trust me, SAF and Gill will pull a bunny out of the hat. :) I hope they do... :(

    Just saw some Luis Suarez videos... Is very versatile has a good right foot and has some skills... Would be great to have him here... :D

    I want both those SOBs at OT next season

    giggs, scholes n Neville r all gonna go when SAF goes so 1 year contract left for all of them

    we got neville's replacement in Rafael

    silva can be giggs' replacement

    Fletcher may, may just be the future Scholes

    n definitely need a striker so Benzema

    n I feel he can atleast try to run faster than Berba

     

    WTF, Kya re... Fletcher can never be Scholes... :doh: They are totally different players... If you give the composure, skill and vision of Scholes to Darren Gibson then we can do something. Gibson already has a lethal long range shots of Scholes during his hey days... Anderson can more likely to be used as a replacement for Scholes considering the fact that he has a good range of passing skills and has good vision. :)

     

    I feel a striker like Dzeko might do wonders for us... Someone who can head the ball cleanly... We have great set of Wing players who provide accurate crosses time and again. And Dzeko has a good head on him... :) How's Luiz Suarez from Ajax that people keep associating us with? :fear: Never seen him play... :D

    BIG RUMOR FOR MAN UTD BUDDYS-David Silva or Benzema for 35 millon pounds.

    Silva 2 replace Giggs(possibly) if he's in.

    And if Benzema joins then he will replace Dimitar.

     

    I'd any day prefer a David Silva who will add to the creativity in midfield which United lacks tremendously. :( Also i feel he will not be used much in the wings. More like a Luka Modric kinda role will suit him. It also depends where Nani is employed... He will be a good buy for around 20mp. But this season i would like to see the resurgence of Zoran Tosic who did a great job in Cologne on loan. He is a kick a*s free kick taker as well...

     

    Benzema, hmmm he is a great talent and will do well in this set up. But the problem is his attitude and his off the field antics. Plus he snubbed us the first time. :(

     

    oh yeah, that would be a sight aint it :P

    couch and zigic, hell put jan koller (czech republic) at 6'8" in a 3 man strike force :fear:

    but dont rule our such a sight

    lulz.. Zigic is average. I mean yes he is got that 6'9" height but that is about it. Crouch is a much much much better player even with 2 inch of less height. I followed Valencia for past 3-4 seasons, he has not featured much in their lineup, initial season mein he was decent with heading long balls to villa to shoot into the goal (a tactic that i abused in my PES ML seasons, 2 times with valencia) but his major lack of pace and not much technique did him in.

     

    Still it would be nice to see him on the pitch, if for nothing else but the altitude :wOOtjumpy:

     

    edit. btw Sky have reported his height wrong, Zigic is 6ft 9in not 6'7"

    seen that in every website and football games.

     

     

    Obviously he is average re... :huh: I was pointing at the height aspect of those two strikers... :majesty:

    Villa to Barca :fear::P awesome news. I always liked Villa and even wanted to see him at chelsea some time but now at 28yrs first time move out of spain seemed very risky. Glad he went to the best possible side, both for him and the club barca.

     

    Real can kiss another season goodbye, even Jose wont be able to win them over the messi/villa combo. Next season pichichi will be Villa, confirmed.

    Also it means that one more club out from Torres' potential move. Lets see,

     

    Man utd- no money

    Man city- no CL

    Juve- no CL

    AC- dont think they have the money

    Barca- got villa

    Real- Atheletico loyalty (please let this be true)

    Arsenal- no money

    Bayern- I doubt torres would want to go to Bundesliga

    Inter- ????

    So as i see, if torres moves away from pool, only inter and chelsea cud be the clubs with $$$ and CL (considering the Atheletico loyalty holds true). I want and wish Torres to come to london ! :D

     

    Cant really say United have no money... They did make a huge bid for Benzema last season which was accepted. :chair: Yes if the price is more than 40mp i think united is out of question... :dance:

    A little late to party but Gotta tell you guys, whoever has not watched The Green Mile yet please do so immediately.

     

    I watched it a couple of days back and the movie really hit me hard. What a f**kin movie. :) There so many epic moments in the film, its a freakin roller coaster. But some of the moments were so gut wrenching

    especially the execution of Eduard Delacroix

    it was really too much to bear. Sadly i dont think i will have the guts to see this movie again. Not in the near future atleast. :P

    well, game is not out yet, and if the jack sparrows' of ivg post their detailed impressions then they will also have to cite their pvt relations with remedy heads who on such a short notice flew down to india to give them a shiny new copy of the game to experience it in all its glory
