    It was a friends friend...

     

    And its orkut for Christ's sake. You gets requests from total strangers. I had a guy in my friend's list whose name was Kevin McClark and i never knew what he did or who he was... :ack:

     

    Best part was many of my friends became his friend and the females in my profile were drolling all over his pics and stuff...

     

    Later i found out he has uploaded personal pics of Swiss Striker Alexander Frei. :doh:

     

    Thats the reason i hate Orkut and other such sites. Profile pics of filmstars, footballers and nutcases everywhere. Cant tell you how many, "I WANT TO MAKE FRAAADSHIP." types i found loitering in my gf's profile.... :ack: Hilarious dimwits.

    OMG! :bash: I know how pissing off it is for someone to find out that his stuff is being paraded somewhere as a prized possession to gain a few brownie points.

     

    I had written a piece about my own life, long time back and later found that one of my friend's friend copied it as his "About me" in orkut... :doh:

    Stunning. Since I can't play the campaign on PC on any higher than medium settings, I'm playing it on the PS3, and it really is beautiful. There are varied environments, and they all look great, particularly the levels set in the South American rain forests.

     

    I can only imagine how great it will look maxed out on PC :(

    Baaaah i was bored watching the United match... Scholesy saved us from digging our grave and so did the Wolves players... I mean that miss in the end... :rofl:

     

    If something happens to Rooney for a prolonged period of time, i feel England and United can safely say goodbye to their title hopes... :unsure:

     

    BTW if anyone watched the Arsenal match, did you see what Chris Eagles did. That cross legged pass :O:nerves: WTF was that??? :samui: He is sort of a lone crusader for Burnley now... Definitely a player who deserves to be in a better team.

    United couldnt give him a regular slot so he left us

    on a completely different note: the last few pages make me realize we have the chattering talent to rival the b-company itself!

     

    I wanted to share something about the B company in BFBC2 from the mission i played. But now i am scared. :O I will wait till the game releases

    or till MT gets his copy

    Well, a lot of people post comments after playing pirated versions of games. It's annoying as hell, and I hope their PCs/Xbox 360s blow up in their faces, but they're not breaking any rules as long as they aren't telling people where/how to acquire pirated games

    If you are referring to a PS3 game then its pretty obvious that it wont be pirated.

     

    But surely when it comes to PC games, it absolutely ridiculous to assume that you could have possibly pirated a PC game thats not scheduled for release for another day and a half and is supposed to be releasing late in India. Because, you know, the PC is a pirate proof platform.

     

    No Sirree, you are the one person in India who managed to get the authentic PC version before its official release date. GAWD, the Indian distributor must be soooo jealous of you right now.

     

    OK guys its not a PIRATED COPY... Its absolutely legit... :giggle:

     

    I got my hands on a legitimate copy of BFBC2 from my friend who is a Senior Producer working in Sweden with DICE, an EA company, Stockholm and had come to India last week.

     

    He had promised to give the game to me, long time back, before anyone gets to play it.

     

    I now own the game and am playing it before anyone else in India. :unsure: I am sorry i cannot post a pic of the legit copy as my camera is conked and i have a non camera mobile phone. :huh: Will post pics as soon as my camera gets repaired.

     

    PS: Please dont refute my claims. I got work in office... :doh:

    Seriously SchneideR dude, you have been here longer, you should know better. The least you could do is to keep that stuff out of this thread and off IVG.

     

    It only encourages others to follow suit. Slippery slope.

     

    Brotha i was just pulling the legs of my friends here in IVG... Just making them jealous. I CATEGORICALLY deny glorifying PIRACY and the stuff related to it.

     

    It was just to make my friends here jealous. You have no idea the feeling we got when Danny posted spoilers about UC2 on PSN. Although they were al false... :unsure::huh:

     

    Apologies if i was misquoted. :giggle: I wont mention anything about the game till the official release date. :doh:

    When Sam mentioned RELOADED, he meant using the setup file from RELOADED, but authenticating the game using an original retail key that he was getting.

     

    If you have a legit copy before release date, why havent you harped about it all over the forum in the WYBTW or even this thread?

     

    Secondly, the PC version is releasing on March 5, and given the state of the retail PC gaming market, its next to impossible that any retailer would stick his neck out to break a release date for the PC version of a game.

     

    Thirdly, Indian stocks of the PC version are supposedly arriving late. So where did you get it from?

     

    Agreed about Sam's post. I know how much he hates "it"... :P

     

    But why is all this that i have said not possible??? Its definitely not impossible right? :huh:

     

    I know it doesnt happen in India but still its definitely possible... :)

     

    All these things that you said about me not harping it in WYBTW thread and other stuff cant really be deemed as a benchmark of the authenticity of the game that i have, can it? I got an authentic copy of heavy rain but i did not post about it in WYBTW thread. Does it mean its a pirated version that i have? :unsure:

     

    See, i respect your words about glorifying piracy in this forum but i did not do it... :doh: I just said that the game is awesome and got a warning because you assumed that i have a pirated copy and i am indirectly glorifying about piracy. :giggle:

    I played an hour of BFBC2 campaign on my PC yesterday. It was freakin awesomeness... :O

     

    The effects, the lush green forests, the folliage... :naughty: I hope my PS3 version is able to replicate atleast 80% of that awesomeness... :rofl:

    in one of his post quoted below? Then why is it that i am given a warning.

     

    It will be cool if I can download it off Steam. Otherwise

    I have nothing againt the mods or MT. But i maintain a spotless reputation in IVG and i dont feel its correct to be brandished a warning for something i have not said/meant.

     

    And why is it not possible for some lucky guy to get his hands on a legit copy before the release date??? :huh: It has happened many time before. More so with MT than with anyone in this forum. :fear:

    I'm thinking that they'll mooch off the club till it turns into a massive liability and then sell it. Right now? No. Its their very own money machine.

    Plus i think that this whole thing is a gimmick.

    Rule 1: Never trust Goldman Sachs.

     

    This takeover shouldnt have been allowed in the first place. I mean you take incredible amounts of loan just to takeover

    a club and add those loans with interest to the clubs finance and accounts...

     

    This is absolute sh*t. Effective money spent by the glazers comes to NIL. But the club is taking massive beating. What kind of a deal was this. :harhar:

    i asked my utd supporting friend and he replied that after that leeds loss when rooney captained, rooney threw a fit and demanded not to be the captain for forthcoming matches. some superstition or maybe he feels he is better w/o the pressure.

    No i dont think that can be it... Must be some other reason. Rooney throws a fit for almost all football related stuff so i cant see that as a factor either. :panic:
