    These people are making me sh*t out of my pants..these people telling not to do bussiness but there research oh my god....

    thx none of my clients have gone through this else i would be beggar in each state.

     

    Just to put my one ounce on this .Maths never help in doing business its your effort which helps to you to grow or emerge..

     

    Just one more thing zapak and reliance were closed only for 1 reason --reliance felt that enough of gaming industry so they decided to close all the master franchise outlet.please note these outlets were runned by zapak own guys.

     

    Other sub franchise which were owned by people like us ,Closed there outlet themseleves as zapak was not giving them proper support.

     

    I still remember i saw zapak hyd behind Hyd central who used to have more then 80 people sitting pack each day like hell.

    c)Nxgt

    d)Consoul

    e)Living room

    f)Zinklo

     

    and lot more

     

    They do make good money not due to there background of rich family but due to there service they provide to there customer.

    I know place (location )plays an important role but you can find avid gamer everywhere around the globe so i personally dont see much difficult to start gaming lounge

     

    do you people still remember local gamestation old like 10-12 years still running around nukkar.belive me they are still over there , i am not saying they do piracy and other stuff but they still entertain people and for which gaming lounge is for .

     

    MY personal exp is when you wish to do something just dont go with maths .Just focus on giving service.

    Some reply from my end -

     

    What I need help in :

    1) Initial Cost : Just at a rough estimation it'll take 10-12 lakh. My family is lower middle class and I don't have more than 50000 in my account at any time. So Loan is the only option.

    hi ,

    Let talk about your costing 10-12 lacs is pretty decent amount .How can i say --its simple i have setup more then 14-18 gaming lounges in india Under the brand play360.

    One thing you try to understand that setup you looking can cost you more then that amount .So try to make your setup much smaller in start and later you can add more

    Reason is simple -

    a)rent in bangalore is sky high.

    b)You looking for multi console setup which is not good as you would need same game copy under different console which is not good idea (My suggestion is simple bcz i have only Same brand console in each lounge which helps a lot during maintenance)

    My 1 cent over here would be console of single brand only which will help you to lower your costing.

    Another costing is your interiors-


    As you have seen LIving room there are more gaming lounge in bangalore -

    a)COnsoul

    b)gameinazy

    c)and lot more

    So interiors need to be under your budget .

    2) I don't have a business mind: Let me explain. My father works in a Govt company and I've been surrounded by similarly minded people . I don't know about how to handle red tape, paperworks , show business acumen and everything.

    Okay what exactly is red tape for you -what i am getting to know this business is simple -You open a lounge in area and you see people coming and asking you what you have made and then they send there kids during sunday and later those kids coming on there own.

    I guess is simple like this .Bcz owning a company and working my self for 4 years i dont see anywhere in papers but by grace of god i can say that i make more profit in money then any gaming lounge in small area where i have installed these kiosk .So business acumen is only simple for me just work hard and try to make things simple for you/


    3) Fear of Failure: Adding 1 and 2 and the fact that I'll leave my job, If I fail I'm in for a royal screw up. With no backup money or source of Income, I don't know what I would do if the business doesn't take off.

    Fear in bussiness is always like stuff which makes people to take away step from doing this .But i myself work for gameloft for 4 years and took my decision to leave the job and open my own bussiness.Life was harsh for few months i should say .But as life is not same for everyone i got into profit and now i am good settle guy into this bussiness.

    These are my points i would prefer you to follow up.

  16. Which Internet Connection is everyone using ?

    a small suggestion\...............for all buyers of broadband..

     

    please check ping of your nearby area --

    steps : 1)open start menu

    2)go to run command

    3)type "ping www.google.com -t"

    4)check your ping -

     

    For airtel in our area its 80-100ms.

    for local broadband guy its 20-30ms only.

     

    also keep in mind a flucation case - in case your ping is 80ms and it gets to 78 ms and then it gets to 70ms and it again comes back to 80ms ..that is not good gaming . As we call them loss.

     

     

    So always see your ping is stable such as for example 29-30 ,31-30 . or 79-80 or 80-81.

     

    See the lower the ping is better gaming .

    But not much fluctuation in ping also.

     

    so check your local guy office before buying any connection.

     

     

    Also for WIfi ping would be always around 100-120ms....

    1. How does your spouse feel about your gaming time?

     

    I am into bussiness of gaming industry so she copes with it. She is happy with it .She mostly enjoying playing tennis only and on top of that she enjoys more on winning tennis (virtua tennis match) against any walkin customer of mine.

     

    i generally game around 10 hours daily ,which leads me to giving less time to her and also i am working mostly 360 days a years we hardly get a time for ourself which annoyed her mostly.

     

     

    2. Does she think those gaming figurines would come in handy for the kids to play with?

     

    she herself likes a lot of figurines but she dont understand which character is from which game .just she likes mostly final fanstasy character a lot and she is keeping all the characters very safely so our children can play in future

     

    3.v3. And the money spent on this passion, how does she feel about it?

     

    for my personal gaming its hardly more then 5k-10 k per month for which she is not happy as she feels the game will end in just 7-10 hours.she keeps complaining about remotes get broken up. she keeps saying that why you have to buy a new game when no one plays .over here no one means she and i both.

     

    4. Do you encourage your wife to play some videogames with you?

     

    i have tried lot of time but she is busy with her work .she really dont feel playing games other then tennis.

     

     

    5. Would you be happy, surprised, thrilled or scared if your wife also became a member of IVG?

    happy more like suprised as she is active on this forum as guest member .

     

     

    7. How many hours in a week you devote to your Gaming?

    10 hours daily...

    Even Full sail college is good for game designing. but it takes only limited student into there course.

     

    Even in india we have DSK in pune which have design course dont know how good they are.

     

    But for game design you need to know about Games engines also such as Unreal engine and much more ..even you need to be good in writing as You have make so many game design document to explain to Developer and producer of gaming company

     

     

     

    Even in india we have game producer which is pretty good scope turn around Job. for which you have to MBA from reputed college and have a good exp on gaming.

     

    MOst of the gaming company have opening for game producer as fresher and for exp you must have exp on working with 2 inhouse game production.

     

    @megzworld ------Are you still working with any gaming company presently

    This all is for my upcoming PC gaming lounge "Collide" in indore.

     

    More Roccat mouse and Asus stuff has to be posted as its stil in consignment
