  3. Update: Got the replaced New PS5 from service center today evening. I'm surprised that it's been this fast. As it was only been 2 days. I got a new unit. (they replaced only the console, not the controller or cables) I enquired and got to know they actually have backup units for replacement ready. For which I also enquired if these units are refurbished one or not. They assured me they are new. And I also can confirm that is true because I went to service center and they opened the console from a different sealed brown box in front of me (very heavy and hardy box, unlike our PS5 boxes). The console also new sealed with separate warranty card showing warranty till Jan 2023. I carefully checked the console and the numbers, its Indian unit with BIS logo at bottom, new serial number of new manufactured unit on both console and warranty card. They informed me that the unit was shipped from Delhi Headquarter yesterday night. No trace of dust or any scratches to my relief. So overall, Very, very good experience from Sony Service Center in Bangalore.
  4. Cancelled the PS5 version from amazon. Will evaluate all the cheaper option like Prepaidgamer or such before diving for preorder for this.
  5. Just wanted the PS5 sku on disc. Don't wanna download 92 gb again. I guess that's a lame excuse. Thinking of cancelling it and getting the PS4.... Had 1k amazon voucher so paid 4k anyway for ps5. But, how fast amazon delivers for Preordered games? I never preorder from there, and always preorder from GTS...the usually delivers on next day of release for preorders. I'm from bangalore.

  7. So that they can butcher the franchise to cater to that iphone 7 lvl hardware? Like they did with Bayonetta series? No thanks. Nintendo should just stick on being weird and sell us Mario, zelda and pokemon and stop thinking about downsizing the potentiality of games for their inferior hardware which runs their own game like poop.     Yes. My funda is that FPS games are Always better on PC with m/kb plus the Ultrawide aspect and 144hz. My PC is completely fine. I can play every games on ultra with RTX with my config. No compromise on graphics nor quality. 10 core 4.8ghz turbo i9 10850k along with 32gb and 2080 super. Basically blazes every games. All the drives are Samsung 970 evo ssds. So pretty much trumps.

    Getting Dying Light 2 from GTS. PC version (steam key) offcourse. Will be getting the tshirt as well. All at 3k, good deal I guess rather than buying directly from Steam. For elden ring, sad to see GTS doesn't have PC version. PS5 version would be cool I guess. Elden Ring doesn't support UltraWide on PC, right?
  12. Ok, Update for bricked ps5. I dropped off the Bricked PS5 to sony service centre today. They only just took the ps5 unit, bill invoice and the warranty card without the box and rest of the contents such as cables and controller. I enquired and they assured me that I will be receiving a new sealed unit as ps5 can’t be repaired in India as of now. It will take around 10-12 days for replacement. They also told me that I might need to bring the box and the content on the day of replacement as they said that headquarter might send them the whole boxed unit in which case I have to provide the box and content for this one. Which they will update me before. I will also receive a new warranty card which will carry forward to rest of the warranty period. so far so good.
  13. He also confirmed that they do have Standby new units for replacement. But it will take some time. I'm fine with that, hoping to get it before HFW or Elden ring.
  14. I confirmed with a Sony authorized dealer whom I also know for a long time. They replace with new one.
  15. Hope that’s not true. They give new ds controller to the people who had issue with dual sense controller.
  16. yes, that's why I asked them if they repair or replace, They said as they don't have ps5 technician in city (I guess they mean country but as you know typical support responses are like this), they are replacing the units.
  17. I contacted Sony Support, they asked me to bring the whole PS5 unit including the box and all the stuffs with invoice and Warranty card to their service center in Koramangala. They probably will replace it as they don't have PS5 repairman and technician in city as per the call. If it's full replacement, I guess it might gonna take some big time, probably on next restock. Gotta go on monday for dropping it off.
  18. It’s not the typical green screen error from online. It’s unable to turn on, nor having able to do any hard reset by long pressing power button. It just beeps. Shows blue light in the ps5, turns itself off.
  19. I’m sorry guys. But If you guys were in my shoes, you would be doubting the same thing as well. plus, we all know the green screen issue of ps5 while waking it from rest mode. That was pretty widespread. It’s easy to say I’m on minority because unluckily I’m now facing the brick. If tomorrow something happens to any of your ps5, I doubt you would be like: “oh well guess I’m the 5%… everything is fine”. just be aware anyway. My ps5 will be replaced as it’s under warranty. But this kindda problem shouldn’t be overlooked. Because it happened for me after 9 months. What if this happens after 1 yr? Unfortunate, right? just be aware. That’s what I’m just informing.

  21. Should I directly go to Sony Center, or service center? Or should I call them up tomorrow morning? (as their customer service is offline now) And yeah, I'm pretty much bummed, never had issue with any of the previous playstations at all. It's true about the degrade of quality I guess, 2 of my friends already faced Joystick drift issue.
