I paid 25k booking amount back in 2020 when I booked my Seltos HTX petrol. Got the car within 1 and half month in Bangalore. 50k booking amount and 5 months waiting period sounds crazy. That too in a place like Delhi, it suppose to be cheaper.

People, fanboys are fine with PS5 version not being adjusted to 4k price after the announcement means people accepted the fact they will get PS4 version and upgrade (who knows the information). And PS5 disc and digital will have 5k price as it's "Next gen" PS5 tag infused version. I tried to raise issue, but someone will come defending Sony's honour anyway. Jaane do. get 4k PS4 version and pray once the DLCs will come you won't have much trouble upgrading. Or you don't have to pay more because officially, you will be having PS4 disc containing PS4 SKU and SONY doesn't have any consistency about DLC or upgrade policy and pricing.

I personally would have liked the Deluxe edition as physical, want those digital goodies, artbooks and all...but unlike many other games, HZD doesn't have that on physical nor there is any option to upgrade the deluxe version from normal.

Because Sony doesn't want you to know that it contains free upgrade in official buy pages. And its working.... in PS5 groups, lots of general and common people are still unaware about the free upgrade.

Also another genuine question. Is there gonna be anything like a digital deluxe upgrade later from base version? I seem to find no source on this.

Horizon Forbidden West is having such a convoluted (it is for the people who don't look up to internet for PS blog update) upgrade plan now that I'm unsure about the 5k price for ps5 version. There's no transparency on price point at all. So 1k extra for box written as PS5? When you give free update to ps4 version which costs 4k, why not make the PS5 disc and digital from 5k to 4k then? They are just not coming out clear or what? Who knows, they are just praying that many people will fall for this and give 1k extra as alms to them for a game which basically is 4k? Thik hain...1k bhik de deta same ps5 version ke liye...leh Sony...1k bhik le.

I saw the difference video. Only framerates, high res and Adaptive trigger. I think there will be a DF video analysis during the release date (28th of Jan) which will tell what is what.

haha.... I did play from my friend's account. I didn't pirate the games(you can check my steam account and can see all the latest games are there). But thinking to get it for my own later. For now, have HFW, Elden Ring and Dying light 2 in horizon.

If you can increase the budget abit, Go for a monitor with 144hz but IPS panel. Avoid TN panels. I just played the PC version from my friend's steam account. The PC version excels amazingly. The optimization is great. The ultrawide aspect did WONDER for this game....man....just for playing it in UW, I'm itching to get it for my own. The more real estate made the game more cinematic. Oh my god.

Good question. I was sure to get the PC version but later found out it doesn't support Ultrawide resolution and more than 60 fps like all the From Software games. Plus, my PS5 is collecting dust nowadays as except exclusives I always get multiplat games on PC, thinking to change that now HFW and Elden Ring is coming. I'm still inclined towards the PC version, but playing with the idea for PS5 version of elden ring to play on TV. Also I heard FromSoftware games has good crowd on Playstation and you will get people invading or helping you out quickly there.

True. Some console games ported over PC(read: HZD) just mitigate this issue by having normal 16:9 ratio restricted for cutscenes only and 21:9 ratio (UW) for all the gameplay. But HZD did that even beautifully because you wont get a black bars on the both sides on cutscenes, but rather, you get a nicely blurred (bokeh) extension of what is happening on 16:9 cutscene...looks very nice tbh.

Yeah console games won't support UW because TVs are not UW. Death Stranding is just one example which is different. Basically the PC games has UW supports which makes the games more immersive... I think Kojima decided to do UW for console as well when he ported the game on PC. Horizon PC port also supports UW and looks beautiful in that format. Like so:

That is optimization issue, memory leak on cutscene as IGN mentioned. Waiting for DF analysis. Overall, looks like a great first time port from Santa Monica. They have included lots of options on graphics...very nice to see DLSS and FSR is available. nice baiting btw

Ultrawide looks EPIC! Watching in UW monitor...the more real estate on both sides really makes the game more immersive!
