True, and that is why it would have been reallly helpful if Sony had come out and spoken against it at the start of the generation, instead of leading the way with 2k/Acti. It doesn't pinch as much on xbox since they have an awesome alternative for gamers with a tight purse in gamepass.

And you will keep hearing people bitch about the price, just like the bitching against loot boxes continue even as EA, Valve, Acti, etc. continure milking their fan-bases with record profits despite all the noise.

Bhai, why does Outriders have to surpass those games? It has been a wonderful achievement for People Can Fly and Square Enix, ever since the game was announced for GP, sony fans have been swarming Outriders videos trying to convince how this game is gonna bomb, and now that it hasn't, they are setting the bar as high as possible, ridiculous. Congrats to SE-PCF and MS on this success, i say. Bring on more such games to GP. Also, this also proves to developers/publishers, that even after allowing the game on GP day 1 on Xbox, it will still sell on other platforms, which is even better news for MS and xbox gamers.

As long as the games keep coming on GP, nothing else matters...it's kind of nice, Sony fans will pay 80$ day 1 to fund the games' eventual appearance on GP 6 months later...This way, Xbox players get to play these games for cheap, and PS fans get to froth over Sony's financials at EOY, win-win for both sides.

Before release, everyone from Sony side of things were certain that the game is crap and will bomb, now it has to surpass borderlands and Destiny

Don't read too much into it. SC is no different here, anytime any important decision they have to make, they conveniently postpone it by months. Even now, it's just a comment with zero legal liabilty (or whatever's it's called). Making a worthless coment after the fact is worth jack all. Words are cheap, actions are louder. But when it come time to act, where's SC?

So sick reading these last few pages The only good news for me personally is that both me n my brother feel fine. And parents have not developed any symptoms. Not getting tested, too fearful of getting infected while getting tested. Just quarantining at home. Also, my sister, bro-in-law, and their 6 year old have also recovered fully, though sister still has bad days now and then. They were infected a couple of days before holi, only had mildest version, no need for hospitalization, but still had to take meds from doc. But still, the exhaustion and headache they suffered this past month. I can only imagine how bad it gets for people who actually take a turn for the worse This second round of lockdowns is gonna be a bloodbath for me, i am invested in the share market and it has been pretty bad couple of years for me personally. Their second dose date was yesterday and they got it. Brother's been feeling unwell for the past 2-3 days. We found out that neighbor was sick for the past week and they didn't inform us. The maid's been working at their and ours place for the past week while she was sick We will know in a week whether the parents get sick or not soon, nothing we can do now. Edited by staff

We have been using Avon oximeters for mom for the past 3 months, works fine so far.

We have sent her on leave since yesterday. She lives in the building itself, we have a servant quarter for every flat, that's why we hired her in the first place.

Close matches have been fun, but i find the whole atmosphere to be pretty depressing past couple of days, what with all corona news 24/7on every channel...still something to look forward to for people in the evenings.

It's true that PS games are unmatched, but i have no doubt those on the fence because of cost of each game would happily get a Series X + gamepass and enjoy the huge library of games already in there + whatever games MS's 23 studios bring over the next 5 years.

Ok, that's good to know. But my mom was admitted to hospital ICU in feb for 10 days with lung problems, her oxygen levels had to dropped to around 70. At first we thought it was covid,but it wasn't but she still lost a lot of weight in those 10 days. And now our neighbor has tested positive, and we have the same maid for washing kitchen utensils. f**k, this is scary stuff.

We are both limiting ourselves to our room. But am worried about mom and dad, both around 65, have bp and diabtes also. They got first dose nearly a 6 weeks or so ago.

Xbox gamepass is the best thing to happen for the indian gamers who previously avoided consoles due to the 2-4k price tag of single games. Pay 7-800 bucks a month and play a wide variety of games, can't see how any Indian with a tight purse-string can pick a ps5 over xbox this gen tbh.

Damn, best wishes to all in this thread who are affected with the disease. My neighbor auntie tested positive a couple of days back, been sick for a week and we had no idea. And we share a maid, bro was coughing it up past couple of days, i started coughing today, nothing too serious yet. At least mom n dad (60+) got their second dose today. We are hoping it's not covid and just cough from drinking chilled water directly from the fridge. Gonna wait a couple of days and see if we get better.

If it's true, then that's just pathetic. If Sony doesn't care about putting new AAA games on their own PSNow service, then so be it. But to go out of the way to ensure that new AAA games are kept out of Gamepass, that's just evil.

No Xbox here yet,might get Series X later this year, but not sure, money problems.
