PS:- DemonSouls was released exclusively for PS3 in 2009 & Remade in 2020.

TLOU was released in 2013 exclusively for PS3 then in 2014 for PS4 & remade in 2022.

Demon Souls, a ps3 game, that was a cult hit. Most dark souls fan-base had no access to it, outside of getting a ps3. Everybody was calling for a remake of the game on newer hardware.
Versus
The Last of Us...one of the biggest hits of all time, that looked like a gem, got a remaster on the ps4, which still looks good to this day. And most eveybody had a access to the game in the ps eco-system even without the remake.

Demon Souls was a ps2 game, remake and ps2 version is a night n day difference, one was vastly outdated.
Dead Space has tons of changes in it, gameplay and level design changes.
Those are worthy remakes.
TLOU1 is more of the same, with graphical improvements. So many of the ponies who had already boasted about pre-ordering the game before launch ended up not getting it on ivg itself. They knew what Sony and ND was doing here.
Anyways, good for the likes of us, by the time we get around to playing ragnarok, we can directly get into the remake version that won't have 2022 tanky controls, when get around to playing it in a couple of years' time. Bring on 80$ GOW: RRemake YEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW

TlOU 1 Remake, the remake where the dev team had to twitter up to convince everyone that that there were new line of codes in there somewhere
Dead Space and RE2/4, now those are remakes, one look and no doubt is left!
I bet mid-gen ps5 refresh will launch with a "built from the ground up remake" of GOW: Ragnarok for 80$ while ponies go around trying to convince everyone that GOW'22 now has "tanky controls".

Guaranteed day 1 for the following, largely because i wanna give this youtube thing a good shot for a year at least:

Starfield
Armored Core 6
If not for the channel, would have played these at my speed and taken a couple of years to complete
Rest am also excited for Alan Wake 2, Lords of the Fallen, Remnant 2, might play them soon-ish if the channel can get any traction whatsoever.
From oldies, will be getting Elden Ring, Sekiro (have both for ps4, never got around to playing it, will now play on pc, easier to record), Dead Space Remake, RE4 Remake, all on steam.
Plus, also need to complete these games which i have left at various stages of incompleteness on ps4, TLOU2, GOW 2018, and Bloodborne (last part of dlc plus end bosses remain).
If am able to get through these, i will be satisfied.
PS: Also add Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, Doom 2005, and Metro: LL & Exodus, The Evil Within 2, RE3/7/8, Hollow Knight to the list of games i wanna get through Asap.
Let's see if i can get through them or not, it's a lot, i know.
