Ultra boost is there flagship product they don't usually sell it on discount.

Last year models and specially shoes with one or two sizes remaining are usually on 30-50% off on their official website. Even the new shoes can be had for a good 20% off if you are a member on their website. I have a 25% coupon that I can use to buy anything on their website which is not on discount.

Can't run and walk much as I've herniated disc and the doctors said that it is causing the pain in heels. Using the shoes for just daily office use and in that also the shoes give up.

And talking about basic shoes, yes I get it that not to expect much from such shoes but at least they should be a bit comfortable. I've one campus pair also and they are way more comfortable than these Asics. Maybe the reason that these are made in India so inferior in quality.

I feel your pain man. I have had a herniated disc since the past 5 years and can completely sympathize. It su*ks, trust me the Gel Contend is not for us man we need shoes that offer both cushioning and support. The Gel Contend is unfortunately neither, I have tried so many shoes and most of them are uncomfortable to me when I have a lot of walking/standing involved. I would love to share some suggestions but that would be wrong on my part specially because you have a medical condition. Go to a store and try on different models and see what suits you best, some Asics flagship stores even do a gait analysis and suggest shoes. All the good brands make shoes for people like us that offer support and cushioning. I use Asics Gel Nimbus and they have been a blessing for me (for walking and as a day to day shoe) and the Saucony Ride/Guide 15 in rotation for the kind of running I plan to do. These have been my go to for the past 5 years The good thing is no one is making fake Saucony shoes so those are a very very safe bet. They make brilliant shoes and last year models are usually available for 50-60% discounts. These shoes are in no way a suggestion as your feet will obviously be very different and you will need to get your gait analyzed.

I'd purchased Asics Gel Contend 4+ last year from flipkart and in 8-9 months the mesh in front side of the left shoe got teared up. I bought these shoes thinking that they will provide good cushion for my ankles as I have frequent pain in them but after wearing them the pain aggravated.

Honestly that can be a shoe issue/fit issue, also the Gel Contend series is a very basic shoe from Asics and I wouldn't expect much support from it specially if you already have issues. No one shoe is perfect for everyone, the best thing for you would be to get fitted at a store. And if you have ankle pain try getting in touch with a doctor maybe your running/walking form is incorrect which causes the pain, in that case you would require stability shoes which are specific to your walking/running form.

Not disputing others but I haven't received fake shoes from flipkart. A few I have even checked with the showrooms for authenticity. Plus mine have lasted a long time too.

Anyways wasn't planning to buy anything this sale as I do most buying on Prime day or big billion one but found a very good deal on Adidas cricket shoes. Let's see if they are authentic when they get delivered on Saturday.

Saucony/Asics shoes I have been buying from the past 3 years on Flipkart have all been authentic all 50% and above discount. I have a pair that I picked up from Saucony brand store in Malaysia and checked against it - no issues even the running response is the same for both shoes. With running shoes it is pretty easy to understand if it is a fake, if you have been running for long in the shoes you would immediately understand from the cushioning and running response. Maybe I have been lucky or maybe no one makes fake Saucony/Asics shoes specifically their performance oriented running shoes. The fakes that I can sometimes spot are the low end models or the ones which are in trend.

This is really a joke new balance and asics has huge counterfeit market

In India ? I wasn’t aware. Specially not for their premium models ? Friend works at ASICS and told me no one is interested in making fakes for ASICS, Adidas/Nike/Puma is where the money is at or he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I am very sure no one is making fake SAUCONY.

Any recommendations for which models to look for? As a shoe noob everything looks the same to me.

    What are you into - running/walking/casual shoes/football ?

Running - Check out SAUCONY shoes brilliant value for money shoes that will last long specially at 60% discount. If you are a neutral runner then go for Ride 15 if you want stability then go for Guide 15 and if you want speed then the Endorphin Speed 3.

Walking shoes - New Balance 1080v12 laceless are a pretty good option or ASICS Gel Nimbus 24

Casual - I love New Balance Xc72 and 327 very comfortable and they look so good and funky. A more retro and safe sneaker will be New Balance 574.

I would stay away from Nike/ Adidas because there are so many fakes. No one makes New Balance/ASICS/SAUCONY fakes so they are safe bets. Obviously the best thing is to go to a store and try and then buy because everyone’s feet are different.

Why UTI? Choose the fund with the lowest TER and decent AUM, history. Motilal has one of the lowest with good history.

I don't invest in ELSS so I can't suggest much there.

T-bills are a good option if you can get a good yield, afaik they were going for 7-8% recently.

UTI had better expense ratio and good aum ....so i went with that. Bad choice is it? Ah well :P

T bills indicative yield is 6.89,6.98 and 6.99 for 91,182 and 364 respectively. Is that good?

UTI is a very good choice one of the lowest TER with a very decent AUM.

Ordered 3 shoes from FK. They all look genuine!

Flipkart has brilliant deals on shoes and it’s a safe bet specially for brands with not so popular models which are usually not having any fakes. Picked up a pair of SAUCONY running shoes (this year’s model) for 60% off. A lot of the latest models of new balance and ASICS were also 50-60% off. I am just very careful with Nike and Adidas because there are a lot of duplicates out there and usually very difficult to differentiate.

I have been googling and searching on YouTube as well for good index funds to invest in and have shortlisted a few

This is my first time I'm investing in this. I'll be investing a small amount to get familiar with the market and will invest more once i get familiar with all this

Please suggest a few good index funds to invest as on date. Cagr 5yrs .

3yrs is fine as well but i prefer long term investment

Index funds are mostly stable funds and don't require much research, all of them will more less perform the same over a long period since they all are tracking the same index. You should opt for one which is by a reliable fund house with the least expense ratio. There are so many options you can't really go very wrong when it comes to Index funds. You can also check this out for more info - https://www.reddit.com/r/IndiaInvestments/

In my case the delivery agent failed to deliver the order and called me to ask if he can deliver it the next day, I agreed.

He then calls me again and says something jibberish and hangs up.

Few moments later, order is cancelled and reason is that customer refused. Raised a complaint against him but now just have to wait for the refund.

The delivery guys can do that when they are not near your area or it gets to late I don't think Amazon can really do anything. The point is if it is Amazon you can be sure that you will 100% get the refund.

    Happens with Amazon too.

Last to last year ordered a smartwatch for wife from Amazon. Received empty box with just leaflets. Didn't even made unboxing video. However amazon cc readily issued a replacement. Since then I make unboxing of anything above 4-5k bought online.

That is the main advantage with Amazon - exceptional customer care.

    Damn.

It’s also from the same seller as mine. :nerves:

I’ll make sure to do a careful open box inspection.
    Fingers crossed.

Also, his AW is straight away replaced with a fake one I guess.

He got a black one instead of Red.

Yup the charging symbol itself was a big giveaway and obviously the color.

Bought the 45mm Product RED on Flipkart.

    32500 after Axis cashback.

Oddly, only the RED is having this discount on Fk.

Other colours are selling for 44-45k.

Not to scare you or anything but be very careful please do an open box delivery only -

The user also had ordered a Red AW.

I'm new to Apple watch.. this is my first smartwatch too, so no idea about the fitness stuff. :P

But from what I hear, the health and fitness tracking is one of the main USPs of AW.

Thanks man, tried going through Reddit and it seems like the AW data is not as comprehensive as Garmin and also the battery when using GPS is pretty bad. Maybe I will go to a store and check out the AW and see the features/apps for tracking and then take a call.

How good are the AW for sports tracking mainly - cycling and running ? I have a Garmin and it is excellent but it is pretty old so looking to replace it with a new watch. I know the AW needs to be charged daily which I hate but willing to tolerate (Garmin I need to charge once a week) if it does a good job at sports tracking also can it transfer stats over to other apps like Strava/Nike Run Club ?

I'm trying to get Axis Vistara Infinite, but Pharma/Medicine etc is not even an option in their drop-down list of employed sector. Any way out ? They ask employer details etc, but none of the other options are remotely close to the industry I work in.

Sent you a contact. Check your DM he helped my Cozn get an axis card. No need to visit the branch he sends someone home to collect the documents.

    Panel Replacement Complete :notangel:

What they do is transfer the motherboard, speakers from the old unit to new panel.. so you don't loose any settings

    20230420-143605.jpg

Mine was also done, did the white screen test and monitor tests again and could spot a small dead pixel on the bottom left of the new panel but I said f*&k it and will accept it for what it is, it is not visible at all unless you stand 4-5 inches away from the screen and look very closely for it.

Honestly, dead pixels (4-5) I think is a given, specially saw a lot of posts on reddit in fact in the west the policy is I guess 8 dead pixels are required for a replacement. But it is a little worrying that I developed so many dead pixels on the old panel with only 1308 hrs of screen time and there are so many cases of this all over the internet. Kudos to LG for changing the panel thank god the TV had not crossed the 3 yrs warranty mark.

  20. Finished it. Brilliant experience. The atmosphere and music

Definitely a lot more scary than RE series specially when it comes to jump scares. The story is also pretty decent. The only minor complaint is that some tasks get repetitive at times and there could have been more enemy variety but all in all a superb experience.

Honestly, much better than many RE games or other survival horror games and very close to RE7 in terms of atmosphere.

I got my CX in 2021 and I didn't take the extended warranty (there was stupid pricing on the extended warranty at the Reliance Digital I got my TV from) and I'm scared to take that test. :fear:

Ideally 3 years on panel at least from my understanding by default. Just call the LG customer care and check if your TV is under warranty or not, they should be able to tell you by checking your phone no/tv serial number on their system.
