    They are investing in Vanguard on their end and we are being provided with units of Navi's funds.

    US assets aren't held under investors name by the depository, they are held under the names of the broker. 

    I am not entirely sure if the $500k protection will be forwarded to the retail investors in this case.


    SEBI is pretty vigilant now, also yes I was going to point towards Vanguard but ya you’re right. But AMCs are very well regulated now and if even they go bust they can sell the holdings and return the money or some AMC can merge and take over. Franklin investors have all got back the money. An admin will be assigned to handle the payback. Also, post the Franklin bust the new SEBI rule says a Fund can be stopped after votes from unit holders so such a case looks unlikely. Having said all this of course there is always a risk involved with these new fintechs. Time will tell.

    Cool. However, if they do shut shop money will be safe but yeah valid reason to stay away.

    I personally have only 3-4% in direct US stocks, via Groww. The rest of the 10% position I am building is in Nasdaq 100.

    Used to add in Motilal Oswal Nasdaq fund but since it is not accepting orders, adding in Kotak's.

    Taxation is much more favourable if you buy India based funds of Nasdaq. Premium between these funds and true NAV has almost turned negligible so no harm either way.

     

    NAVI has lower TER but their fund size doesn't inspire confidence.

    Since, PP is not investing in the US market anymore and MO has also stopped I shifted to Navi last month - US Total Stock Market and Nasdaq 100. Any reason other than the fund size that you did not go for them ?

     

    Obviously they are very new but they are getting a lot of traction and what I like is that the US Total Stock Market fund is directly investing in Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF which is pretty good.

    Watching this show is almost like taking a vacation.

     

    I will watch with the family, so it usually goes slower but shouldn't take longer than a week! Will also start on Friday.

    This is Us and Virgin River are both brilliant shows that you can watch with family.

    This is Us is a little heavy at times but man what a show.

    No downside. You will share the 12 complimentary lounge access with whoever has the card.

    Doesn't hold true specifically for PS Studio games. TLOU2 was full price on PSN for good 5-6 months and then also the discount was around 25% but on disc it was almost half the price (pre-owned) within one month of launch. Also, with the likes of gameloot/gamenation its not a hassle at all anymore. But yeah I kind of get what you are saying but there is no denying that you could save a ton of money on physical if you are okay with pre-owned.

    Finished it just now. Brilliant experience. Took me around 6.30 hrs. Will reboot it in a few days for some of the trophies. The speed run is going to be difficult because there are so many paths which one needs to remember. 
     

    This game reminded me of Inside and The Last Guardian a couple of times. Must play.

    Needs a speed run as well for the platinum so around 15 hrs is what’s been mentioned on twitter.

    Agreed. Played about an hour or so and loving it so far. This game is meant to be played on an oled. Just turn off all the lights and enjoy the show. 
     

    Also, if anything happens to this cat I am going to turn into Kratos.

    Good reviews all around, it’s 84 on meta. I was just giving in to the hype because it was internet’s fav game the past few weeks but now I am genuinely interested.

    That could be for 2 reasons - Sony is greedy and want people to subscribe to the service and will wait till the last min. or they want to avoid confusion and don't want people who have PS + Extra to buy the game and then face all the refund requests later...

    Good choice specially if you have wide feet. If you have narrow feet the Nike Pegasus are also pretty good. 

    But I highly recommend you visit a store and try these on. A shoe might be awesome for someone and absolutely horrible for another.

    The first 3-4 hrs can get frustrating and overwhelming. Stick to it man for a couple of hrs and let it bowl you over. I also thought I will not go through with it after playing for 1-2 hrs. But after 4 hrs I was hooked.
