Yaar now Hindenberg doesn't affect Indian stock market unless it's coming out with some really well researched juicy story. It was one and done even if everything was correct etc etc. People have tasted blood (aka money) and such news won't daunt them much.

Par market is so overvalued man. Pullback se nahi bull run se darr lagta hai.

OTOH, everytime I look at Trent I just feel so sad never having invested in it. Har baar bc lagta hai kitna overvalued hai, and har baar it's just running crazy. Insane numbers this quarter as well.

I don't see any major reaction coming up.

If there is any, it would because of a cool off and not this.

Agreed the past few months bull run has been crazy but I am not complaining has been very eventful specially the past 4-5 months and has helped in making selling/buying decisions which went well. Don’t want to jinx it🧿

Trent is one stock even I regret not getting.

Just out of curiosity, how much of time do you spend in a week on playing video games ?  Personally, I spend like 7-8 hours in a good week, but otherwise on average it might be around 4-5 hours / week.  Many days just fly by without even powering on the console/pc.

My interest in games is definitely waning.  Partly due to family/work commitments, and partly due to other distractions like OTT.  Also, maybe due to the fact that the video games these days are mostly just sequels of previous games and rehashing of the same old concepts and rarely a fresh idea comes out. So for such games, after playing a few hours, don’t really feel like sticking long enough to complete them.

2020-21 was more like 8-10 hours every week easily but now with work and travel at its peak again, it is down to 1-2 hours in a week and sometimes no gaming for 2-3 weeks. After work I like to sit back relax and read a book these days for some reason or listen to a podcast, clearly I am growing old.

Monkey Man coming directly on Amazon Prime tomorrow. Lets see if this is a direct addition to Prime catalogue or rent method. I suspect it will be on rent first for few weeks since it just released in US few weeks ago. either way, will be watching this tomorrow. Psyched. Will see it twice, once in hindi and once in english. lol.

I guess this means that it is not releasing in theaters in India :ranting:

Postponed. How long is it postponed for, we don't know yet.

Many outlets saying, by a week. After the studio fixes the cuts/censors suggested by the CBFC, apparently.

I was really hyped for this, sad that it is going to be censored. :ranting:

Any review on The Gentlemen and 3 body problem on Netflix? IMDb reviews look decent but don’t want to waste time  on 8 episodes of 1 hour each if ain’t good. 😌

+1 for 3 Body Problem, it looks intriguing, anyone watched it ?

Crashed out of a job opportunity at Coinbase after 5 rounds.

Randomly received rejection email yesterday. Recruiter says that it was just bad luck, in the end it was between me and one other person, tie breaker was experience (3.5 vs 6).

Took away 1.5 months of bandwidth.

That sucks specially when you give in a 100% into something but what I have realized in life is that if you keep at it something better is always waiting down the road sometimes it might take a little more time but there always is something better or sometimes things where you had lost hope suddenly out of no where come back. I know it is typical self-motivation book quote but it has always been true.

On to the next one mate. Cheers!

    50% transfer bonus hasn't come for last 3 years. It's been 30%.

Didn't know about the Taj policy change, can you share the source?

The good old days with 50% transfer bonus. I remember transferring all my points and getting brilliant value on Marriot properties. 30% I have used once didn't know it was the norm now, sad.

Taj source- I tried booking 2 months back and the property told me that vouchers cannot be used on member rates anymore, called Amex and they acknowledged it said that Taj has the right to decide and they have started getting this complaint from customers.

Amex is the biggest winner here. Trifecta or atleast Platinum travel is a must have.

Amex is nice, the only problem with the Plat. Travel is the new update to the vouchers policy by Taj. Earlier the vouchers were applicable on member rates so the benefits were pretty good and I used the Taj vouchers a lot but now the vouchers are not valid on member rates so you have to take the normal rates which are quite higher.

But for Bonvoy points it is pretty good I mostly transfer the points during promotions of extra 50% on transfer.
