    I love the sakura blossoms wallpaper art. Is there a way we can get this box if we buy from LG ? Last year all CX owners who bought the tv got brown boxes instead of premium boxes.

    The box will be staying with me as it is helpful during shifting process. And i mostly keep all the good looking boxes for collector value. Those who don't understand the collector aspect of it refrain from giving sarcastic remarks on it.

    I saw a couple of LG CX lying around at Vijay Sales all were in the brown box. I think that box is only in western countries.

    Basically - most TV's are edge lit means the light comes from the edges this leads to bleeding. For example blacks will look grey since light bleeds into those areas. Full Array tries to address this by having light sources which are behind the panel rather than on the edges. OLEDs go one step further because they have individually lit pixels so that means there is no back light. Hence no bleeding. OLED is the best in the business for now. 

     

    I suggest you check some YouTube videos and also try to visit Reliance/Croma where they will have all types of panels displayed - edge lit/OLED/full Array etc. Take a pen drive with some 4k videos and ask the guy to play it for you on different screens. Check it out for yourself and then take a call.

    I do not like the Roy-Teacher thing. Hopefully doesn't go anywhere. Don't think the teacher was even required and the whole art thing was out of place.

    Nate continues to dig his grave but damn he can sure act. Pissing off Ted is a pretty bad move and I can see Ted already forgiving him. Nate forgetting the part where a team loses, only the coach takes all the heat and sacked too. The scene with Keeley was coming when she decided to fix his tie. 

    The Roy-Keeley scene kept escalating further. He sure got pissed after hearing Jamie's name. Hopefully, it won't affect the Roy-Jamie thing. Don't think he will beat Nate either. Probably a proposal coming.

    Akufo, who thinks billionaires shouldn't exist sure love the perks it has lol. 

    Trent burning his source sure respects Ted and Richmond as a whole. Was nice to see.

    Ted expression reading the letter was great. 

     

    Did you notice Prateek Kuhad's song - Cold Mess playing in the last few scenes. Also, Nate's story arc has been too predictable this season. Great episode nonetheless.

    This is so true. I have tried it and it’s not comfortable at all. But they are leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. I might pick up the OP Buds Pro if they are on discount tonight, I have heard a lot of praise from a friend who was earlier using Samsung buds.

    Need to pickup a laptop for work. I might order tonight if I get a good deal  They will reimburse 60k I am willing to put in another 10-20k. It can't be an apple product has to be windows. Any suggestions ? Priorities - 1. Fast and efficient (mostly lots of excel work and mails/browsing) 2. good battery 3. Light weight and thin (around 1-1.30 kgs max )

     

    I am considering the Asus Zenbook or a Lenovo Yoga ? Any other suggestions ?

    1) what's the difference between C1 and CX. 

     

    2) And where are you seeing the prices that you mentioned? Online on flipkart and Amazon 48 inches is usually not available and if it is then the price is very high. 

     

    3) Does LG use any cheap tactics where the lower inch model has an inferior panel and specs compared to its larger panels? I see this done by a lot of manufacturers where they advertise the specs of larger models but the smaller size models end up have worse quality and specs in terms of brightness and contrast. So just wanted to ask. 

    1. Not much a new processor on the C1 which will have a little bit better processing power means the PQ might be better - I suggest you go to a store and check them out side by side by playing the same content. - If the diff. is more than 15k between the 2 then I suggest you save up and go for the CX. 

     

    2. You will never get good prices online for LG OLED tvs online, check out some local dealers or vijay sales if there is one nearby. I always get the best offers from Vijay Sales. 

     

    3. Nope you get all the features on the 48 inch model. 4 HDMI 2.1 slots with VRR is available on the 48inch model so nothing to worry about. 

     

    This guy is the best in the business when it comes to TVs/Displays -

    If you are willing to pay maybe 10-15 k more you can get a LG OLED 48 inch or maybe if you can find a CX in stock you can get it for around 80-85k. You get better PQ, 4 HDMI 2.1 slots with vrr - so you are future proof.

    I know - but no man,  don't have the time to do that I beat hades thrice. Too many games and very less time as wfh has stopped. :wallbash:

     

    Plus I think I went overboard just playing Hades for the past 20 days everyday and got burned-out so now it is not fun anymore for me. BTW for the true-true ending of the game it's more than 10, people have reported 20 escapes unlock more of the story don't know if it is true.
