    I tried jugaad back then bro, didn't work.
     
    But since its been a few months since I've used this controller, I'll do what you say once, though I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to fix it. Thank you though. 
    Give it a try you've got nothing to lose since you already have a spare controller. If you're lucky it might just work. All the best.

    And yes, not a vegan and eating meat might be the same thing.
     
    Constantly sucking away milk, repeatedly tying up and raping the female cow, not giving the milk to her child.
    just saying, I'm no one to judge.
    100% correct. That's why I have started the vegan journey. I am almost there, left milk for almond milk long back and now trying to slowly leave butter, eggs, ghee and other dairy products.

    Once i saw a goat being tied down , throat cut up, blood splurting and butchered part by part.
    This was when i was in 5th standard and didn't eat for a year maybe.
     
    I even felt like puking when i started going to to the butchers.
     
    But i moved on and realised man is meant to eat meat,
     
    And when Ned stark said : A man who passes the sentence must swing the sword, it gave me a slightly new perspective.
     
    i volunteered to kill a chicken myself because the owner's butcher had gone to fetch something and i said : let me do it.
    But he arrived straight away
    maybe I should someday, i want to, maybe I won't be able to, don't know, but could want to try it if given the opportunity - maybe even scared to get the opportunity.
     
     
     
     
    Not so sure about the whole 'man is meant to eat meat'. I mean yes we used to be hunters but that was when it was for survival and animals were not kept captive in confinement and tortured and killed and given hormones and get injected with stuff. Now animals are killed for taste and our preferences, we do have the option of not killing and eating veg. Slaughterhouses are nothing short of hell for these animals if anything I don't think 'man is meant to treat other animals like sh*t'. I mean just because we used to do it since cavemen era doesn't mean we should continue doing it by that logic a lot of things considered criminal activites now would be okay to do like rape, war, public prosecutions, slavery etc.

    But I guess each to his own- everyone has the right to make a conscious decision on what they want to consume.

    Let's just enjoy the delicious posts on this thread.

    Yes, broiler chickens need to be seen.
     
    If people see how dead that chicken is and so weak they would think twice before eating it.
    Can't even move, full of injections to make them grow unusually, feathers half fallen off,
    can't reproduce of course, and they are so jam packed they lie on each other's sh*t all the time.
    I agree. The condition in which these animals are forced to live and then eventually slaughtered is quite miserable. I was a hardcore non veg consumer but recent study and a few documentaries made be convert to vegetarian. I slowly want to turn vegan but it's tough, one day for sure.

    I don't think natural stuff is really harmful (even though it might be like everything else is Today : can't be more harmful than alcohol in the cancer regard ?)
     
    Isn't man meant to eat red meat !
     
    But i feel broiler chicken which everyone eats so much more is way more harmful than red meat and red meat is the real deal for taste.
     
     
    There is a lot of scientific proof that red meat causes cancer. But then again a lot of things we consume in our daily lives starting from packaged food to adulterated veggies cause cancer as well. However, the condition of the animals and the way the meat is stored is absolutely horrible.

  10. Dualshock 4 R2 Issue

    My R2 on my original dualshock 4 that came with my PS4 stopped working. Bought from the US. 
    Corona time so couldn't go out and get it fixed, and GTS had their sale so I bought a new one, been using that.
     
    Now thinking if I can fix the old one myself, its only the R2 which is giving me trouble.
    Now its not like its not working, it does work, but it works all the time.
     
    The behaviour is like R2 is continuously pressed down. For example, walking around in UC4 but Nate throws punches. If I even take out my gun, he starts hip-firing.
    I haven't ever opened up one of these before, but I guess there are some sort of contacts which are stuck together, which would normally only be when the button was actually pressed?
     
    I'd go to Palika and get it fixed, but an underground AC market isn't the best idea right now. Can anyone help? 
    Controller is from the US, so idk if they have it any different inside the controller......
    I had the same issue with L2 two days back on my 4 year old DS4. All I did was press and hold it for 5-6 minutes real hard and then pressed it multiple times for 2-3 minutes. To my surprise it solved the issue - jugaad.

    Obviously, you would need the base game. Either that or pay to play it incase you don't have the base game. They are not going to make it free for everyone.
    That's what I wrote. What I meant was even I sold the disc ('same here' was for that).

    I personally prefer the ye Olde model where you buy a TV for good money and it is a robust item that works for 7-8 years easily, and can be repaired if there are any minor problems.

    Same reason why i prefer PC gaming to consoles, PC parts are more durable and backed by 3-5 year warranties, although my PS4 is working fine since 5 years apart from power button issue.

    Cheap TVs yes but can't say the same for consoles, at least not for Sony. I have used PS 2,3 and now 4 each for at least 4 years. I have had zero issues.

    My PS4 is now 4 years old and I have had no issues despite multiple powercuts/surges and heat because I keep it inside a TV cabinet.

    My friends who have had PS systems for over 3-4 years also don't have any issues. I am sure the same goes for Xbox but I don't have any experience.

    The controller yes, that is an issue - all of my friends have had to change their controller atleast once every two years. I am one of the lucky few with a controller that has lasted 4 years (touchwood).

    Nice. That's a future proof purchase, should be good for atleast 5 years. I am also keeping an eye out for this model unfortunately in India they don't have the 48 inch model else would have purchased it eyes closed as I have space constraints. Hopefully, they will launch the smaller size soon in India too.

  21. Final Fantasy VII: Remake

    I am currently playing P5R and I am currently at 45 hours. I think it'll take another 15-20 days to finish the game. This was my first Persona game and I am loving it. I always thought JRPGs are not my cup of tea but boy, was I wrong.

    I am really looking forward to play FF7 Remake next, this is going to be my first FF game. I hope it gets a price drop/deep discount soon.

    Samsung 2020 led lineups are extremely disappointing , i bought the samsung 50tu8000 at 49k its alright nothing extraordinary for the price, i bought it because of the tvs i checked out. 
    I had brought along a pendrive filled with different content to test and none of the other models failed to play them all like samsung did and android/iphone phone pairing was excellent and quick, i was shocked to sony tv 2020 model hang up while trying to play content from my pen drive and a qled lg model froze while i was getting the demo. 
    The dealer sucuessfully convinced my family to go for samsung , i personally wanted to get a android tv, any idea on the best android model that matches samsung in 43 to 55 inch class ?
    Also whats the stigma on burn-in on qled ?, i was put off on going for one looking at huge stickers plastered on each model saying x years warranty on burn-in
    Burn in is a know issue in OLED and not QLED. Samsung uses this as marketing and hence you see the warranty stickers for burn in for Samsung since they make QLED panels.

    But if you research online the OLED burn in is an issue which people have observed after 1000s of hours of usage. So I suggest you do your own research before making a decision.

    There are quite a few rental services. They primarily cater to events but they also rent to individuals and the rental costs are quite low.

    I’ve used Rentkar quite a bit. This is their PS4 rate card. Only Mumbai-Pune region though.

    Yup the renting scene is great for someone looking to play exclusives. It makes even more sense this gen.
