I'm not saying it's right or wrong. Obviously we as consumers paying the same amount of money as a consumer in any other part of the world deserve the same quality of service.

I'm just saying that the gaming scene in India is depressingly small.

Ya, I agree - 100% with you, after all paisa bolta hai.

Let's just say that the number of ps4s sold in US on a single black Friday outnumber the number of ps4s sold in India over the life of the console. So yeah, its pretty insignificant.

I am sure the nos. are really bad but still I feel treating gamers in one of the largest upcoming economies of the world they way they do isn't right. They need to learn from Xbox atleast in this regard. I mean I am sure the no. of xbox units sold will be very meagre to say the least, yet they have a price reveal and communication from time to time.

Also, they have a proper separate team for the PS in India with a Head and separate divisions, I wonder what their role is - maybe they are just there to take orders and execute with zero feedback flowing back to HQ.

I swear Sony’s handling of preorders and lack of India updates is making Xbox strategy sound like genius.

I think India is the only major country that hasn’t announced price for PS5 yet.

I wonder why is that - the gaming community has been growing in India and I think the PS4 must have done good numbers, I am not going to compare us to Japan, USA where the number of consoles sold are in millions within a couple of months after launch, but still I wonder are the no. of units sold in India so less that they don't take India too seriously ?

Compared to xbox which hardly does any nos in India it's shocking the way Sony handles India when it comes to the Play Station.

Hmmmm funny. I thought the deals would be on Royal, and not base Persona 5 going forward.

Ya, I agree. But considering Royal came out a couple of months ago and I am sure is selling well because of fans of the original and new comers so they might not put it on sale soon.

5. Haven't played any of these.
More reasons to be happy right now [emoji3]
This is a solid way to make people who are on PS4 to upgrade and ofcourse for people who don't have PS. Basically this is their way of saying don't waste money and buy these games for the PS4 just upgrade to PS5 and play them for free. It's a great value proposition.

6. Sony’s PlayStation Plus Collection will let you play a bunch of PS4 classics on PS5 at launch

You’ll download and play these games directly — it’s not a streaming service — and Sony said the entire collection will be available when the PS5 launches on November 12th. The PlayStation Plus Collection should make for a decent way of padding out your game library in the launch period of PS5.
1. God of War
2. The Last of Us: Remastered
3. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
4. Battlefield 1
5. Monster Hunter World
6. Fallout 4
7. Final Fantasy XV
8. The Last Guardian
9. Ratchet and Clank
10. Infamous: Second Son
11. Days Gone
12. Bloodborne
13. Detroit: Become Human
14. Batman Arkham Night
15. Mortal Kombat X
16. Persona 5
17. Until Dawn
18. Resident Evil: Biohazard
This is pretty solid imo.
Brilliant PS4 games on the PS5 day 1.
I am sure there will be something for everyone in that list of games.

I was earlier using leatherite but it isn't as comfortable specially in the summer season and so I switched to this one for office, it is a little pricey but I can't compromise on my back for long sitting so bought this one. Very comfortable and good support for the back -

And this one for home, the back support is there but I would have liked a bit more of thigh support but then again this is their basic model-

8. Yup i remember the good old time when 40+ inch TVs and 32,37 inch TVs had all the same technology, just the bigger TVs were more vibrant and more connectivity stuff, now i can't buy a new house for a TV, manufacturers need to think about us as well, hell I'd pay the amount if i could get local dimming and VRR in 43 inch size.

SuperT For the frame 2018 and 2019 models the naming seems confusing one site shows LS003 as 2018 and other shows it as 2019. Some show LS03 as 2019. For the 2020 model i only got a australian website product page.

dante77 After seeing the difference between QLED and OLED i don't think i can go back to OLED, though will keep the RU7470 in mind strangely it's commonly available for a old TV. Though the colors seem dull to QLED.
If you can wait then that would be your best bet. I think in 2021 we will see a lot of the manufacturers launch hdmi 2.1 models. Even the budget brands would launch their models and maybe if you're lucky there might be 43 inch models as well.
9. Bro 3 versions of frame have been released. The current one being sold released in 2020.
Yes, actually I was referring to the 43 inch model@NitroNeo was referring to in his post. I believe that one is from 2017/18 because that was 43 inch post that there haven't been any 43 inch Frame TVs by Samsung in 2019 and 2020 atleast in India. So I'm not sure which one he is referring to...

And the serif is a new addition which comes in 43 inches and is available on Amazon for around 70k that is a 2020 model. Serif and Frame are two different models is what I was mentioning.

10. Considering i have no space to get a bigger TV 43 inch is it for me. Unfortunately the frame 2020 model has a 38 inch flat stand and with corona pandemic rampant i won't be able to go out and make a new table, also i guess frame [serif] 2020 43 inch is 80,000 MRP right ? My TV table has 35 inch flat surface Btw

I have seen on RTing website the sony models given below have some 24fps judder thing that seems to me will cause problems in gaming or media experience correct me if I'm wrong. Local dimming idk if i ever require it as on now and many say VRR is not well implemented on many TVs so chances of these Non high end TVs ever actually having good VRR were slim anyway. So i can do without local dimming and VRR for now.

Considering that i need to extend the budget to accommodate a better model, after doing extensive research here are the models i shortlisted, if anyone of you have used either of these models of any inch size do let me know if they are good for gaming and everyday TV needs like watching movies, shows, sports, idk if streaming is a priority for me so that can take a back seat, gaming good colors and performance matter.

All 43 inch models -

Samsung Q60R/Q60T
Sony X80H
Sony 43X7500H
Samsung The Frame LS003 43 inch
Samsung RU7470
Samsung UA43TUE60FKXXL
The Samsung Serif and Samsung Frame are different. You can get the Serif for 70k on Amazon if you apply a 10k coupon which is active right now. I would not suggest you get the Frame 43 inch model that one is 2 years old and doesn't have qled and is overpriced. Better to go for the serif if you like the tv style (it has big bezels as it's designed from a decorative pov).

Unfortunately if space was not an issue you could have put in a little more money and get a feature rich 50/55 inch tv.

Thanks [emoji4]
A straw-hat I killed in a standoff dropped his sword and I opened photo mode when it was still in mid-air.
TBH my plan wasn't exactly to take a shot of the sword. I just noticed it when I was turning the camera around and thought it looked cool [emoji14]

Whoa! Brilliant effects and editing man. Keep sharing.

Amazing photos. I have gbs of screenshots from the game. This game is probably the only game where I spent hours on photo mode. How did you get the sword one or is that taken from somewhere ?

13. Completed the first palace and now using the available time to level up. It took me two tries to get past the boss though slowly getting the hang of battles. I am 14 hours in and I have to say this game is highly addictive; I am forcing myself to sleep now as I have work tomorrow, much like the protagonist is forced to sleep in the game at times [emoji23]

14. Sony has already released its TVs for this year and they have branded them for Ps5. So I don't think you are gonna get anything more from them. It's all 55 inch or above if you want a tv which hits every mark.
It's just wishful thinking, I will wait till I get my hands on a PS5 and then take a call. I do have a feeling that I will be forced to take the 55inch route.
15. If the room is not too small where you are only 5-6 feet apart from the TV screen then you can get 55 inch. They are bang for the bucks especially some of the models providing some much needed upgrade from their 50 inch counterparts. Also, no one complains about the TV size too big but people do complaint about them being small. So, if possible and not too sore for eyes. Get a 55 inch TV.
Yeah will have to go for 55 inch. I'll just wait for a few months and try my luck maybe some 50inch tvs come out without compromising on the features, I am hoping that sony/samsung will launch some models once the PS5 hits the market.

I love huge tvs for the living room but I prefer 43/50 inch for the room.
16. Nope it doesn't have local dimming. Also brightness is only ~500 nits. However all HDMI 2.1 features including VRR, 4k 120, etc. are present in 55 inch and up models. Not so sure about the smaller ones.

Like I said before, the midrange in Indian TV market is useless. You're spending 70k+ on a TV which can't do HDR properly which imo is a really important feature for gaming considering how much it improves the visuals with minimal processing overhead.

I usually play in my room and 43 inch is a sweet spot (that's what I have right now) but the max I was planning to go up to was 50 inches. I guess I'll have to get 55 inches sooner or later looking at the Indian TV market scenario and the features required for optimal gaming on the next gen consoles.

I just can't imagine a huge TV in my room, space is not a constraint but unfortunately the layout of the room is such that a huge TV will be a sore spot. I hope some good options come up by next year for 50 inches.

17. Thanks guysadity @b!T The art style and direction is pretty awesome. This is my first Persona game so I was a little skeptical but it turned out to be an awesome decision to get it.

It obviously is going to occupy my life now as it's very long and addictive. Bye bye social life.

18. So I finally got the P5R Steelbook and started playing - loving it. I am around 9 hours in and on the first palace. The map is taking a little time to get used to since it's inverted.

Also, I reached the 3rd building and some of my confidants are very low on sp and hp so I am planning on exiting the palace and buying some meds and returning. Is that okay and do you guys do that or am I just bad at the game as of now ? Some spoiler free guidance would be great.
