    Yup. There’s a DLC called Happy home paradise which is locked behind NSO. Also, you can’t visit other people’s islands if you don't have NSO. Splatoon 2 also had Octo expansion, which is a single player DLC. Its multiplayer also keeps getting periodic free updates with new maps, weapons, soundtrack, etc. You should pick up Splatoon 3. The multiplayer turf wars are so addictive

    In that case, Animal Crossing also qualifies as GaaS. So this is neither their first nor the most successful GaaS title. Animal crossing sold at least 3 times more.

    Splatoon 3 sales are seriously just mind boggling. Surpassed 3.45 million copies sold in first 3 days.

    Switch physical games hold their value for years. So going for physical makes a lot more sense. You can carry upto 10 cards inside a good Switch case.

    I have probably put in around 120 hours on the remastered and part 2, each. The capture has nothing to do with it. All youtube videos are compressed and look inferior compared to native console output, even the remake. Even if you don’t account for YouTube’s compression, they are still not the same when you watch a recorded version off the console directly.

    Okay, you are an adult uncle gamer huh? Splatoon 2, which came out in 2017 still has more active players than Halo Infinite. Takes less than 10 seconds to start a battle.
