The 5000 price tag is painful. But pre-ordered anyway. Don’t want to miss out on Returnal and Rift Apart. Will sell later anyways.

I think this game is a one-time experience. After beating it once, I never wanted to go back again. Just got the Plat and was done with it.

I’m not exactly sure about claiming customs charges back. If any customs are levied, we have to pay to get it legally into our country. Don’t think amazon will help with this as it’s out of their control. And yes, if they specify the customs charges at checkout, we don’t have to pay anything else. DHL, FedEx, etc will just take your KYC details and deliver.

Customs chargers are applied at checkout on almost all orders, but in some cases, Amazon UK ships with Royal Mail without any tracking info. In that case, there won’t be any customs. However, it’s rare to find anyone who ships like this.

If shipped with any reputed companies, we’re screwed. Royal Mail is a loophole to avoid customs but many sellers don’t do it as it doesn’t have a tracking number.

Managed to order this off Amazon UK a month ago. Finally received it today.

Now that this game is published by EA, will it be on PS Now from this year? The inclusion of F1 games every year to PS Now has been amazing. The only reason I keep the subscription.

Amazon doesn’t even use bubble wrap anymore, even for items worth 1 lakh or above. It’s useful only for fragile items like glass. The original packaging inside a cardboard box is good enough for surface shipping.

Another possible reason why the cases are going up right now is due to increased number of tests performed. Last year after the curve flattened, people didn’t bother to get tested even if they showed any flu-like symptoms. But now, due to the panic, everyone’s getting tested if they show symptoms or if they’re found to have come in contact with infected people. Surely the number of cases and the tests performed must go hand in hand, no? If the same number of tests per day were always performed, there’d always be more cases. This is an interesting article, which tells the importance of the timing of tests and how various countries are handling it. Sometimes performing fewer tests could be beneficial to collect accurate data.

The new DualSense firmware update is apparently fixing drift issues for some controllers. Looks like they increased the dead zone.

Also to add, the music in this game is very impactful. Some songs like "Asylum for the feeling" were so well placed in the game. Unforgettable experience.

Just updated my PS5. Biggest feature so far - Now HDR can be set to “On when supported”. This disables HDR when playing non-HDR games. No more forced HDR

My best guess - they are trying to resolve some heating issues and it’s still possibly in testing stages. This update further proves they are not ready yet and we may not see it anytime soon.

Couldn’t agree more. Days Gone is an average game at best (story-wise). I can’t believe people are upset it’s not getting a sequel. The writing in that game is so sub-par and lazy, cheesy. Bend Studios did a great job optimizing it for PS5. But performance really doesn’t matter if the story and characters are so bland. I tried Days Gone on PS5 and struggling to even get past the story because of how generic it is. Also, I think over the past few months there is an uptick in negative Sony articles all over the internet. This is just bad PR imo. No one on the internet knows what’s really happening within Sony, unless it’s official. If Sony rejected Days Gone 2 pitch, it’s probably because it’s another boring story, like Days Gone 1. Remember how Days Gone was a terrible game until it was optimized for PS5 and offered for free on the Collection?

Yup, my mistake. I didn't read the post properly, which was specifically asking about the Zombie game. Thought it was for the ps now games.

Netflix did themselves a favor, not Marty. They don’t want to provide a wide theatrical release window like Amazon Studios and just want to monopolize their streaming service. They refused a proposed deal of 60-day window for theaters, instead wanted just 45 days.

There was a time when people thought Xbox smart delivery was a scam I’m not sure how effective that is from Microsoft. Sony is treating haptic feedback and adaptive triggers like royalty features. PS5 owners already paid the adopter fee to next gen by investing in hardware and games. So they should be allowed to get these upgrades for free. Also, they made it seem like PS5 upgrade path is going to be straightforward, when they talked about backwards compatibility. Now it’s just too complicated.

Unfortunately, no. Sony is locking PS5 upgrade paths for ps plus and ps now games. Suck a dick move. We need to own the game to get the free upgrade.

I had a similar experience once. Ordered a few PS4 games but they didn't ship even after 10 days. I went ahead and mailed them to cancel the order but got no response. Finally shipped after 2 weeks.
