    The disc drive is a big mess-up by Sony. 
    Not consistent at all. 

     

    Apart from the disc eject issues, the loud buzzing for a few seconds is inevitable on any PS5 - when the inserted disc is being accessed. 


    However, this doesn’t happen with blu ray movies. Only with games.

    I noticed that when Audio Output is set to Bitstream, there is audio lag. 

    Switch to PCM and it's gone.

    I think the issue is with the Samsung TVs.

    I am able to fix it by turning off game mode or turning it back on. (each time) 

     

    I read some comments on Youtube, the issue seems to be with HDMI 4 port. Some people were able to fix it by switching to HDMI 1.

    I got these during a sale for around 13k. 

     

    Great for music/movies and calls. 
    Some of the most accurate pair of headphones, according to Rtings.com’s review. Has NC, but not as good as XM3.

    I’m not an audiophile tho. 
    I’ve avoided doing this because of the convenience 3.5mm jack offers. Just plug and play.

    I use wireless pretty much everywhere except when gaming. Mostly due to the fact that it needs yet another dongle attached to the console.

    There is almost zero chance to get a tampered product from amazon warehouses. 
    They even weigh the outgoing shipments to cross-reference it with the net weight of the original product.

    Since past 15mins the fan is constantly running. Nothing is plugged in. When i switch on the power supply, the green indicator doesnt come so its fully charged as well.

    After 15 mins its stopped now. But again if i switch on and off the fan takes off. 

     

    Shall i return the product?

    The reviews for this product are full of complaints that the fan keeps running even when it's not in use. 

    Might be normal or a defect. 

     

    Is it able to keep the PS5 running when power is cut?

    Tried the performance RT mode. 
    Other than the improved frame rate, I can’t tell any difference while swinging. 

     

    But when stationary, particle effects (snow), shadow and reflection quality are slightly reduced.

    Yeah, should be minor. 

     

    The faceplates don't directly come into contact with the exhaust/intake vents though. They just prevent dust from directly entering the fan; however, they don't completely prevent it. Those fans will catch a lot of dust, when compared to PS4.

    Just started playing MM on PS5. 

    I don't even want to turn off Fidelity mode. It's so beautiful. :wub:

    Right now, the only game that feels like next-gen. 

     

    Edit : 3 hours into the story, this game feels more interesting and likeable than the original Spider-Man.
