^^ Yea.... one of my friends played royal (during chrismas or something , where it was pure white everywhere) .... finished first playthrough in like a day and said its overrated
Yeah, there was this bonus where the enemies become very easy.

Royal class is only beneficial for the first section or maybe the one after that. It really evens out later. The classes are useless anyway, you can build any sort of character you want once you unlock the you-know-what.

I rarely used parry. Hit and run on something like, say, Red Knight is very satisfying as well. First you need to learn the enemy attack pattern, then the attack animation before you can successfully pull that off. You can easily beat the game without doing that, but it depends. I don't want to take risk with that move when I have a lot of Souls. That's the best thing about the game, you don't want to take risks mostly.
