RDR2's crappy HDR
Rdr2 isn’t supposed to be played with hdr on. I played the whole game without HDR on my oled

You don't even know what was the bet and what context it was made or whether it was serious or not. You just here to sh*t talk coz that's what you do best lol
Yeah, 99% of times this happens with this zoo person, doesn’t have anything meaningful to contribute

Wish SX would allow to play PC games via keyboard and mouse. My work laptop sucks and gaming laptop died last year.
Would like to try AoE IV and Warhammer III
There’s a list of games that support kbm on XSX. I’ve tried Bluetooth kmb combo on mine. Just plug and play

My guess is that for 9/10 people, the experience will be annoying and may even cause a headache after an hour or so.
This is wrong. With good frame pacing, 30fps feels as stable as 60fps, no headaches
4 hours ago, superczar said:60vs 120 is similar in some ways the same but the difference is far more subtle in comparison.
Noticeable if you pay attention but not enough to make a big difference for non competitive/casual gamersThis is also wrong. I have done many A-B comparisons between 60 and 120. 120 is significantly more responsive and your gaming performance gets a lot of boost at 120
30 and 60 are both terrible compared to the super responsive and fluid 120 but 120 demands too many sacrifices visually

No developer has PS5 specific engines ready.

So now there’s no graphical difference between PS4 and PS5 version???
Yeah, seems like it for casual viewing
if someone does A-B testing they’ll be hard pressed to be 100% sure whixh is which
ps4 hfw version is perhaps the pinnacle of ps4 games

Game is made for PS4 in mind.
PS5 version just extra eye candy but design of the world and all made keeping PS4 in mind.
Or was it built from scratch for ps5 and scaled down to ps4?
also, I think god of war Ragnarok is being built from scratch for ps4 and scaled up for ps5
what are the actual developer comments for both games?

You had no option but to get hfw on PS bruh.
Anyway we can co-op our way to the top if you're in on XSX.
Does this game supports crossplay, It'd have been great.
1) we are competing on who beats game 1st, so we can’t co-op on 1st playthrough at least. NG+ definitely co-op2) I am getting my Xbox disc on 28th Feb, 3 days after launch, so winner of competition will be decided by time played in exophase or Xbox internal timer
3) there’s xbox to xbox and ps to ps cross play but no cross-platform crossplay

Review said it works smoothly even on base model
To test this, I played through the first few hours of the game on both consoles; a launch version of the PS5 and a base PS4 model. In terms of pure visuals, the difference is negligible. Textures on the PS5 are smoother, there’s more detail in some scenes, and overall, the image looks cleaner and has much-improved lighting. There’s some noticeable pop-in on the PS4, particularly during cutscenes, but no major graphical hitches; these issues are also a bit more noticeable when you’re moving very fast on one of the game’s mounts and the world is speeding past. The most glaring difference in my experience (because it’s something you’re looking at constantly) is that Aloy’s hair looks more realistic on the PS5, particularly as it moves around while she’s jumping. In fact, when you put images of the two versions side by side, it can be hard to tell which is which.
No need to buy a PS5 ?

It's not exclusive. There's only a minor difference in SSR quality because of a difference in resolution.
Reflections in PS5 Resolution mode are considerably better than in FPS mode. FPS mode reflections resemble PS4 quality.

the amount of work they have done with water reflections in-game is just splendid and superb!!
Guerilla
This is exclusive to the resolution mode and not available in 60fps mode

I don’t have a Switch but I think it also very strongly embodies the spirit of gaming (not gfx ofc), am I right?
wish I could rent a Switch and try out even 1 game

yup. Did all those checks. Spent quite few hours trying to investigate if I am missing anything. But I really did not notice the 60 to 120 jump as much as I noticed the 30 to 60 jump
Have you disabled the 4K mode on Xbox?
if it’s enabled, games don’t enable 120fps mode even if you choose 1080p 120fps in settings, that’s probably why you aren’t noticing a difference

thats what I got - 144hz, 1440p monitor. Tried bunch of games at 120 and I still cant perceive the jump from 60
Common man, 60fps feels downright janky as compared to 120fps, can confirm after using it on both a tv and a gaming monitor

was trying to play RnC Rift apart in 30 fps after completing it in 60 fps once and I couldn't go past the stadium level
I, on the other hand, completed my 1st and only playthrough of rift apart on 30fps mode on the hardest difficulty with all extra challenges
30fps is not to blame
60fps / 120fps is useful when you are playing competitive pro gaming
Actually, most people don’t have the skills and dexterity to really take proper advantage of high fps
