RD update: Started shipping, will arrive on 3rd but still low key hoping it comes tomorrow itself
According to tracking updates it was picked up from Greater Thane, so yeah, if you are in Mumbai you might just.

Mine is showing invoiced, arriving on 02 Feb 2021.
Got a SMS saying that they shipped my order as well just now. Excepting to receive the email soon with the tracking info.
Edit: Website now says shipped, I can track as well. They have used Delhivery and according to them expected date of delivery is 04 Feb, 2021. -
I go to bed these days at 12 PM, I think I might end up staying awake now for the entire day

Good to see that there is some movement on RD front. Hopefully, this update will follow for other folks who bought from RD (fingers crossed). Congrats!
Thanks! Yeah, I hope everyone who has managed to get it from RD has updates to look forward to later today. Feels unreal.

Apparently RD changed status to invoiced!
Still showing confirmed for me, yet to change!
Mine is showing invoiced, arriving on 02 Feb 2021.
I doubt the latter will happen and I still have no tracking number in my email. -

Bummer no update from sony about expandable storage
Knowing them it might just be an iteration on the PS Vita memory cards, hence super expensive. Atleast it looks like it will take in regular SSDs but for now since they need to match a certain read/write speed Sony is going to be making a nice profit for a while. Maybe later they will let any other 3rd party SSDs be installed once the speeds are up to snuff.

Now that we are close what are you planning to play first?
I will be playing Cuphead along with DAys gone (PLATINUM :)) and the most exited im about is kenaFirst and foremost play Astro's Playroom to see what exactly the DualSense hype is all about,
Then finish Cyberpunk 2077. Have been holding out on the final mission. It ran okay-ish on base PS4 but I am assuming on the PS5 it will be a much better experience. I even have FFVII Remake and Persona 5R in my immediate backlog, so those as well. Maybe get all the trophies in Hitman. Then there's some games I would want to play via the PS+ Collection. That SSD gonna get filled up real quick.

That's not an inflated price, their website added 2 units in cart for you.
Ah, that makes more sense. I have heard the website is often times jank.
Edit: When trying to sign in using email from an account I created long back it would prompt me to put in my phone and I would never get an OTP. Had to register using a different phone number altogether hours before the pre order started. -

Also a bit off topic but anyone here uses Jio Fiber? Any reviews? What is the actual download speed with the 100mbps pack? Also is Airtel Fiber better?
I have it and am pretty satisfied after they made it unlimited and the upload and download speeds the same. The actual speeds are dependent on a lot of factors but you got what is advertised if you are in the area the router covers. If possible, use the 5 GHz band. On wired I was able to download the day 1 patch for Cyberpunk 2077 (around 44 GB) in about 40 mins on the 150 Mbps plan, so that is clearly the way to use it (on wireless it was showing anywhere from 3 to 5 hrs). You can get the set top box too and a lot of OTT subscriptions so that is also great.
On the flipside, I have noticed the customer support is a bit lackluster. I had issues with the router initially and there was no proper resolution until one day it just start working fine. Jio also handles our intercom and that hasn't been resolved either. I see a recurring pattern in how Reliance treats its customers xD. I would still recommend them just because of there's a lot of value of money in their service.
Unfortunately I have no experience with Airtel so can't make a comparison.
I am glad Croma is delivering on the same day. That store played an important part in my childhood, I have bought almost all my consoles and games from there but when I was able to add a PS5 to my cart it showed a heavily inflated price (I took the screenshot after a while hence it shows not deliverable, otherwise I did have the option of checking out):

If they use ecom-express I'm not getting it before 15 days ATLEAST.
I think I have received a few shipments via Ecom Express, they were fast enough. Marks and Spencer used them and I got my order in a day. However, when I returned one of the items according to the tracking details it was kept at the final delivery center for quite a while (something similar in this tweet ) though after sending M&S an email I did get the refund initiated.
Come to think of it, Marks and Spencer is a joint venture with Reliance Retail in India.
Searching "Reliance digital tracking" on twitter only results in complaints of various customers. The reviews of the app on Google Play Store also state issues with tracking and delivery. I guess I won't rest easy until the PS5 actually arrives :/

Has anyone ordered anything ever from Reliance Digital? I don't see any concrete information on how they ship online orders and what service they use (a few tweets stated Ecom Express). Some even said that they do not provide tracking numbers.
What is the point if an order is still confirmed but they do not manage to deliver it? How was the experience for people who had confirmed Xbox Series X/S orders?
