Whenever I attempt something like this I end up playing on just one system while others just sit there collecting dust and backlog. So I have moved onto single system at a time. You can always play games you missed in next generation via back compatibility. They run better and are heavily discounted as well.

Why does exclusivity matter so much? Most of stuff MS makes isn't exclusive. Their own Ori, Psychonauts 2 are not exclusives. More people getting to play is a good thing. They contributing in making great games is all that matters.

This is what happens when you replace cutthroat Japanese management with mildly competitive European management.

I also loved it. But I can understand it's not everyone cup of tea. Too harrowing with that darkness spreading in hand after each death - mechanic. But if you are able to finish it, it's quiet fulfilling.

They could have easily made a full blown E3 conference. Just needed a few first party titles and some fanfare. Could've crossed 1 hr easy. A lot of interesting stuff, FF16, Callisto Protocol, RE4.

Game looks cool. Setting, characters etc are interesting. But that combat???

This is fundamental difference between Sony, MS. Even Psychonauts 2, Ori are not exclusives. Their exclusivity deals are timed, mostly 3 months. Developer get exclusive deal money, sales from multiple platforms, more gamers get to play games. Only minority fanboys care about list wars- muh system got moar exclusives. At the end of the day both Tunic and Deaths Door were improved by exclusivity deal they got from MS. So they get credit for it.

Like how Kena, Sifu are PS games.

They helped making Ori, Tunic, Deaths Door, Psychonauts 2. Excellent when it comes to creativity. PPL like PlayStation, Nintendo for creative stuff. Well here it is.

So you are going to ignore every other game they released apart from Halo, Gears and Forza. And you are calling others shilling for the company?

I wouldn't call Horizon graphics crap. They are pretty good too. But they are impressive from technical standpoint. You can see individual grass elements, moss, textures on machines etc. A ton of stuff packed in a frame. This stuff doesn't impress me any longer. I just see frame as a whole and if scenery it presents is pleasing or not.

I must add to this, my preference is mostly art style over technical ability. I find Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD more pretty to look at compared to, say something like Horizon Forbidden West. Before Series S i was playing pc gems released in 90s that I missed, like Fallout 2, Baldurs Gate 2 etc. And some Nintendo stuff on 3ds. Series S is plenty enough for me as far as graphics are concerned.

This happened cause Sony decided to increase MSRP. Situation isn't so bad. I can walk in and get Series X from a retailer nearby. PS5 I dunno. There is some company level corruption going on related to allocation of inventory, as he told me.

This will reach 1 lac mark in India. Also will get outdated/superceded in 4-5 yrs. Premium products don't fetch a good price in used market either, relative to their price. I don't see how anyone will be able to justify it. We see 1 lac Rs PCs in India cause it does other things. People justify it by using for work related things.

What are you waiting for? Make a move to PS5D/Series consoles. Besides this only proves even in India there are ton of casuals buying consoles. One of my friends friend had even booked a new base PS4 for 30k a few months ago. We moved him to Series S. People just default onto PlayStation. It's a stronger brand.

It just needs a solid 30/60 fps mode at 900p-1080p and that's enough. Some games like Doom Eternal has a ray tracing mode or 120 fps modes. Both are novelty features and hardly anyone play in them. In games where ray tracing is essential, it gets it. Like Metro Exodus/ Matrix demo. They are low res on all systems so dunno why you just wanna talk about Series S.

Does anyone else feel like PS+ Extra Premium sounds like a petroleum product?

Service is pretty good if you skipped PS4. Couple it with a PS5D and a year of PS+ extra premium and you are set. Pretty useless if had ps4 though.
