There may be for the ps+ collection copy owners because that's essentially a ps5 copy. Or some similar conditional system to upgrade.

Card based? Drat! I didn't know this was card based. I was so excited up until now. Well I think no. Altho ppl who do are probably those who have played every RPG worth playing and r moving on ahead. Hardcore marvel fans and the small group that generally likes these types of games and spent 80% of their tw3 gameplay playing Gwent.

While that is a gr8 idea, I think every last detail abt HFW so far has been discussed at length in this thread. So anybody got anything?

Well in regard to HFW. I think they removed the dual entitlement option to start with because - They may have thought it over at that time that if they r received with mass disagreement regarding dual entitlement, they will just provide the free upgrade like they previously advertised and if not then they are looting the buyers looking for dual entitlement which might mean that they just took a stab at making more money off the game last second. That also explains why there was no upgrade path instead of a 10$ upgrade path like GoT - They needed the option to fall back and stick to the original free upgrade plan.

Wait what? The internet connection update and stuff should only be during installation right? After that you will have installed the PS5 updated version and thus it will be plug insert and play. Only difference that way would be you need an internet connection to download the game. All like a regular ps5 game once you have already downloaded it.

They will most probably add to the PS5 version or decrease the price. If neither maybe its just gonna be 4k for ps4 edition, free upgrade to ps5 edition and 5k for ps5 edition, can't be played on ps4. Either ways the ps4 edition is practically a steal because u get a ps5 AAA title with all dualsense features and everything for a ps4 game price of 4k. Unless they include a collectible or something worth that with the ps5 version which is not happening.

I like the foucs stand and aloy figurine. The tremortusk figurine also looks nice but not half as interested as I am in the focus and aloy figurine.

OK then, will let u know about it. Haven't actually played death stranding, had it for over a year tho. Started it but then I got bored running after 3 hours with absolutely nothing else to the game so ditched it (gotta say tho, HZD and GoT level beautiful game). Probably won't play it anytime soon so will mostly donate. Still will let you know soon. Just to clarify, after donating death stranding, do I become a library member or do I need to get rep points after donating to enter the library and thus borrow? Also I can temporarily retract the game after the borrowing period of a member is over right (in case I want to play it)?
PS : Either ways I will mostly donate death stranding unless I decide to play that after RnC (highly unlikely) in which case I'll donate it a bit later but yes I'll eventually donate death stranding.

I know I should totally watch it. Its more of an eccentricity. I tried watching it but then as soon as I hit play I bailed. Same hapenned with days gone 2. I got to like 20 seconds, saw a new character and bailed again. Its like I want to watch it but only while actually playing the game. So yea, I don't even bother trying anymore.??

I chose not to watch it to avoid spoilers. Still got a few but you can only do so much.

Also I noticed something in the descriptions for HFW. It mentioned that the dualsense features such as adaptive triggers for bow tension and haptic vibrations for grapple hook attachment will be present. Looks like HFW has got a grapple hook. Excited to see how that would work. Might be like Sekiro or GoT or better.

Whatever the case. It was pretty cool releasing the 60 fps HZD upgrade for free, the game is so much better and the upgrade is flawless. It was a bad move pricing HFW the way they r doing it. The collectors and regalla editions r priced 200$ and 270$ in the US BTW. Also putting the games as digital in these editions was also a bad move. I'm sure this will beat any PS5 game so far or maybe even other legendary games but pricey to begin with.

The best thing to do would have been to make a deluxe edition for 6k and give horizon zero dawn along with it on disc. The HZD copy upgraded to use dualsense features. To promote PS5 copy, don't allow an upgrade path for a PS4 HZD copy and allow HFW upgrade. This current system is messed up. And what the steel book had a digital code instead of disc?

The library membership rules state that I need 20 reputation points + 5 positive trading feedback or 50 reputation points. My q, do u get a trading feedback for both buying and selling or just selling. Would like to join the library and I'm not even a little close to the requirements, so?

For this big a title, I was practically sure they would do this. Altho photo mode only available with deluxe edition was a real surprise. BTW, read the description, there is a lot of armours n stuff that comes with the deluxe edition. That and if its anything like other games then you will recieve this 2 days prior to the actual launch. As for the disc deluxe edition, I don't know. Maybe that will be 6k, everything physical, steel book, or exact same with codes, idk.
Any idea when the disc editions go on pre-order?

There will be a regular disc and digital and digital deluxe edition. The regular will be 4k for PS4 and 5k for PS5 and the digital deluxe edition will come with some extra themes and stuff and you will receive it 2 days early for 6k.
That's the usual deal. There might be some extra armour sets n stuff also in the deluxe.
The funny thing is that the ps4 edition apparently upgrades to the PS5 version for free so might as well buy the ps4 edition and upgrade it, thus passing on the fancier case. Not sure if it will actually be like that but that's what the news is as per what I read somewhere.

Today's the big day. The sequel, Horizon Forbidden West to the masterpiece that is Horizon Zero Dawn goes on pre order today.
Should be at around 9. Drop like if u r buying ASAP. I'll buy it as soon as I get the PS5, hopefully before it releases.
PS : Just want to see how many are pre-ordering this.

It is a very long game but the game pacing here starts going very well. Just keep playing that story line as fast as fast goes. Cause u got some of the best missions coming in the game starting from the mission I tried to hit that once. I'm in my second play through playing parallel to ff7 remake which I'm in the last chpt, chot 18 rn. Days gone except for the pacing is a brilliant game and given where u r, u don't have that problem also now. Play it through, it is really worth it. Hope u have a good time and don't ditch the game at this point cause u will really miss out on something rlly good if u do.

Looks gr8. Only way ik abt it is from control. Will def play this but will probably rent it or wait for a major sale. Control was brilliant, hope this turns out somewhat like that. The upgrade path was shady but the game is really really good. Altho yes 125$ is just wrong. It actually doesn't quite come to that but u just had an unfortunate series of events. All in all u still gotta admit, control was pretty damn good. I personally got it gr8 from PS+
