No Apollo is gone for good. Ted faro specifically mentioned that he wiped every Apollo server and all the backups. And the odyssey project had an antimatter containment failure. The ship is almost definitely destroyed, u know what is antimatter. Doubt anything on that ship could have survived. That was probably added in along the datapoints to show that Apollo is gone for good and project zero dawn is their last hope. But maybe they will turn it around in HFW and find Apollo although highly unlikely.

They could and it wouldnt be wrong but the fact that it is not there is justified by the fact that humanity in HZD has technically only been alive for say 250 years. After the humans left the eluthia facilities they probably just forgot that they lived in the metal world as the next generation came to pass as word wasn't passed from generation to generation and it eventually became myth finally to be forgotten, thus they fear the machines leading to superstitious society. The machines then went rogue after the derangement and then they went all against the metal world. The only reason they has the weapons and traps and stuff was parts from the machines and incentive to fight the machines. In game it is too soon for industrialization to happen. Even in the real world it hapenned in the 1900's. You get the point I think.

They just numbered the games, the titles are still HZD and HFW Horizon 1 zero dawn and Horizon 2 forbidden west

Yea that happens when hades corrupts Gaia. She loses control of her subordinate functions. They were never AI's thus needed Gaia for their functioning. Since Gaia was essentially destroyed when Gaia prime was self destructed by Gaia via a core overload. Then the functions are just blank programs that don't have anything to run on and nobody (previously gaia) to operate them. Now somehow haphaestus became an AI. Unknown so far. Might be revealed in HFW. The subordinate functions are always mistaken for AI's because of the fact that haphaestus and hades are AI's. Hades became an AI because of the signal and Hephaestus has an unknown cause. Another hades mystery was how it ended up in the ruins of a dead titan. The subordinate functions actuallly aren't AI's as mention by elisabet when she described 0 dawn and said Gaia will have a wide suite of subordinate functions to support her and while these were not true AI's at their cores, each would present a technological challenge greater than anything they attempted before. Lol I remember it line to line. I have played this game too many times. Also, I played the 60 fps upgraded version. There is nothing wrong with it. It runs soooooooo smooth and satisfyingly and there is a bit of a visual upgrade too I think. The colours and everything just look nicer. Played a fair bit and no issues. Also revisiting the game felt so good. Nothing felt lacking as aforementioned. The load times before were gr8, now they are nearly twice as fast. The 60fps is the main attraction of the upgrade but they did a hell of a lot more than just double the framerate.

This was pretty cool - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=k1BneeJTDcU -
Was very excited about it till I saw that it had anime type graphics. Not gonna play it now. Maybe if it comes out free on PS+. Not happening anytime soon but in a year or 2 it just might.

You can even wait and get HFW for the library Best possible choice. Best title coming out so far. That would make ur best choices - HFW Deathloop Returnal FC6 Miles morales Pick 1 out. All r gr8. Not sure abt deathloop but looks pretty good based on reviews and stuff.

The NPC's were blunt but considering every other thing compared to each of those things in rdr2 or tw3, HZD was a much better game. Me too hope the same. 1 thing tho, the signal from the forbidden west only awoke hades and made him from just a function into a full blown AI. The other functions were all unaffected by that signal but then hades attacked Gaia and the functions corrupting. After that the DLC frozen wilds showed that the Hephaestus function (aka the daemon) also somehow became an AI. Also unexplained. These things will probably be revealed in HFW when she goes to the forbidden west and possibly finds the signal. There were several mentions of the forbidden west in the game and it seems to be a dangerous place forbidden by the Nora. I mean carja lands are forbidden but this just seemed more serious. I mean how Teersa mentioned rost going to the carja lands was significant. Then she says that he even went into the FW to hunt the killers. That and the fact that it is literally called the forbidden west. Can't wait to play HFW.

That would be comingale when he said HZD was back to back mediocre and there was mass disagreement followed by me saying HZD was better than rdr2, tw3 and gta5 combined. Altho I might have won that with this. Btw, this was for the general mess rt?

Lol, noticed this thread about 2 days ago. And when u asked for fav game I thought the winner was decided by ur choice based on the game. Did not know this was a random pattern.?

This was an interesting turn of events. Either ways. I never said HZD story and characters were better than rdr2 and tw3 story and characters. I literally agreed that rdr2 and tw3 were superior by a short margin in both aspects. I said HZD was a better game because every other thing was leaps and bounds ahead of rdr2 and tw3 and the story was also not as good as the other 2, but gr8. Also how did story become the whole deciding factor on game comparison? If the story is soo important, read a book. While comparing rdr2 or tw3 to any other game, only the story is ever considered, the rest of the stuff in the game however good or bad (mostly bad) is overlooked. And I'm a gamer and 16 yrs old. How much do u rlly think I give a crap about a game that has gr8 emotional stuff and nothing else coupled with entire ridiculously boring quests where in some I have to milk a frickin cow vs HZD where you have the main protagonist hunting machines while trying to find her mother and then finds that the only person it could have been died 400 yes ago and then finds how the world died and saves it from dying again exactly the same way. PS : that one line was directed at the quest, not the cow. I think I now finally made my point.

The first 2 camps are like 10% of the game. After you reach lost lake, the entire main missions will be centered around lost lake till 50% of the game. After that the focus switches around between Nero lost lake and other camps. You are at 20% - 25% through the game. Its a pretty fairly large game. HZD was better by a short margin in my opinion. The pacing issue is very mild after you reach lost lake. You still got a way to go and you will enjoy it.

Those who haven't played HZD or rdr2 don't read this! You didn't read the entire "lame essay" so you didn't read what I actually said. I never said the story was not good. By that I meant it was repetitive. All in all basically, throughout the game, they r trying to steal a lot of money in plenty of different ways and leave the country. Can you mention a single second thing that was part of the main plot except for when they ended up on guarma? Chpt 1, escape to the north, steal money and escape, chapter 2, get a job, get money and escape, chapter 3, work for the braithwaits and greys, rob both of them, escape, (slight twist - jack got kidbapped) chapter 4, rob saint Denis bank, escape, chapter 5, little variety, tried to escape, but landed on guarma, chapter 6, get money, from one last job and escape. All throughout the game, this was the scene and they just failed to steal the money or escape. In HZD, u start of looking for your mother, then get attacked by people targeting you because your DNA is a 99% match for some women who u assume to be your mother. You find that nobody knows who your mother is so you hunt down the person who is working with the attackers, then you get contacted by some guy through your focus who helps you and knows stuff about the attackers, then you go and find out that she lived 400 years ago so you continue searching and find out about the faro plague and the super weapons project, then you find out its a terrforming system with an AI created by Elisabet, then you find that you were made by a machine to kill that part of gaia's AI trying to destroy earth on recieveing a signal from some unknown place, and then you find a way to override it and save earth from being deterraformed. Just before this happens you find that the guy helping you all the way created the army under hades, and after you kill Hades, he traps him. That's called variety and twists. Now rdr2 story was good, pobably better than the HZD story, but it was repetitive was what I was saying. And thus I also mentioned that the epilogue was better. The epilogue makes up for that one thing missing in the main story. That said, rdr2 had a better story and character development, HZD had a slightly inferior story with slightly infirior characters with everything else better than rdr2. Character development was better in rdr2, except it was srsly overdone for dutch. One day he tells Arthur. You are my son. 3 weeks later he leaves him to die.

Where are you in the story? Cause once you reach the third camp, you will not leave this game till you finish it.

OK thanks for the info.

HZD was totally better than those 3 but yea, days gone was a bit of a stretch. It was still an awesome game. It is srsly under rated. And yes, rdr2 combat does rlly suck. And the controls r worse. What hell kinda ps4 gen game uses O to reload, square to jump and different button for different situation to loot If its a drawer, hold square, if its an animal, hold ∆ and so on. Some other game mechanics rlly suck too. For eg. in other games it resets the checkpoint when another character in combat dies and that makes sense. In this game I once got reset in the epilogue because I grazed the side of some pillar with Abigail on the cart and got reset because "Abigail got scared." I mean wth? I got reset to the ranch and had to ride in a wagon all the way to blackwater again which is a 5 minute ride. Everyone has to agree that that is srsly messed up. My list for these HZD Days Gone The Witcher 3 Red Dead Redemption 2 Yea the days gone character had their issues but it had gr8 combat, gr8 visuals, gr8 story, gr8 transport too, the bike I mean, def better than the horses, tho the mounts in HZD r on par with the bike. Little slow start but all awesome, from the ambush camps to the hordes. And 1 particularly interesting thing is the camp trust system. It makes sense and it was a very innovative way to limit access to weapons. The story twists were also awesome, for eg. the ripper king, skizzo etc. Days gone was a brilliant game. Wonder why so many people didn't like it. And the ign review was particularly disappointing. I mean 6.5 for that game is really bad. Then again ign gave rdr2 a 10 where it rlly should be 6.5 and HZD a 9.3 where it rlly should be a 10. All while days gone should be 9.3 or maybe 9.6. And the stories in both rdr2 and tw3 were very repetitive. Witcher 3, yes quite a bit but then there was variety, rdr2 had nothing on the matter, maybe a smidge in chapter 5 but thats abt it. HZD and days gone had a heck load of variety in storyline. Rdr2 story was heavily lacking because of that, that is without considering the epilogue. Epilogue was good. Chapter 2 was gr8, chapter 1 was boring but story was still good.

Oh please. This game featured some of the best combat gaming has seen. I have played this game like 4 times and enjoyed it fully each time. And she does get wet on ps4 pro. You can even see her sort of jerking her hands if you stand still for a second after coming out of the water. This game is still awesome and hopefully HFW will be better. Revisiting, always leaves the game lacking. The story, combat, gameplay, characters, narrative were all perfect. 11/10 This game is frickin awesome. I agree dude (GoW ties HZD but u get the point), come at me too. Also, auto aim is not going to auto aim at a freeze canister if you have a freeze arrow. If you want an easy playthro then play on easy setting to begin with, then it doesn't matter where you shoot, the machine will be destroyed. And I can't say anything about the game after the update but at least before the update, this game is a masterpiece. Get this - HZD over rdr2, gta5 and tw3 put together. And I actually believe that. Hell days gone was better than those, not better than hzd tho but close behind. Rdr2 and the others are wayyyyyy behind. Now come at me, cause I really mean it.

For this game, the way to play it is, rush the story till you reach lost lake. Then juggle extra stuff and main game. I didn't play it like that but I liked even the beginning. Going out on free roams, you go with a single useless gun vs freaks and marauders, its very exciting. Then story was going a little slow but I was playing quite a bit just to find out if Sarah was still (according to them) dead or alive. And then the Nero choppers were a nice twist. After that I bumped into my first horde (the train station) and then I was hooked. The first few hours just set the mood for how the world is - broken, only small camps are left, its dangerous to so much as step out. Almost exactly like Colter in rdr2. 1st 2 or even 3 chapters were ridiculously boring, days gone - just a couple hours. After that it picked up but I still didn't quite like rdr2 as much as a lot of other people did, wasn't perfect -and the story was a little dull (through the game you r just trying to steal a lot of money and escape, with a few twists and a lot of roadblocks. Ending was the worst - changes based on how many ppl you kill or save or good stuff (honor level - didn't even know abt the mechanic) you do instead of decision based). It literally take 25 seconds to loot a nightstand in rdr2. You hold the button (0.5 sec) then he slowly bends down and pulls open the cupboard and then stands up again (5 sec), then hold the button (0.5 x 3 = 1.5 sec) again and he slowly bends downs down and picks up the first item (4 sec) , second item (4 sec), third item (4 sec) and then hold the button (0.5 sec) he bends down slowly to clost the cupboard (5 sec). The "realistic" way to do that is to bend down, open the cupboard, pick up everything and then close the cupboard and stand. RDR2 - 7/10 Days gone is a brilliant game, worth playing. Days Gone - 9.8/10 And that was rdr2 vs days gone - my opinion based on real problems in rdr2 which don't bother other ppl as much as me. There was a days gone 2 trailer, and some stuff on the net saying the game is cancelled. Little confused. Anyone any ideas? There was even a poll to request a second game but then the trailer is out n all that so? The first game was brilliant and I really want to play the sequal. The final ending was essentially a cliffhanger.

Is there any monthly free game system on steam like PS+ or egs. I'm a console gamer but I figured it couldn't hurt to claim free games cause then I can play them if and when I upgrade my PC.

Favorite game : Horizon Zero Dawn Nice : Had the honour band 4 and it was gr8, very accurate and handy and I was just looking at this one during release but didn't buy it cause it was like 2 - 3 months aft buying the honor band 4. Honor band 4 broke about 3 weeks ago.

Will skyrim use dualsense features as part of the PS5 free upgrade? Don't have a PS5 yet. Don't have skyrim either yet. Just curious!
-
Finished the epilogue too. The story was better than that in the main game. Overall, decent game.
-
? Well I finished the final quest. Frankly speaking, could have been better. Now somehow I spawned as John and have quests to do. Now I saw the epilogue in the quest list and l saw - epilogue, even understood what it meant but didn't quite think I would play as john. I'm not rlly very interested to play as john so I ask. Is it worth playing the epilogue. Also, pls tell me its not like chapter 2 level of boring? Also I saw some stuff on the net and ppl said there was stuff from rdr1. So just to let uk I haven't played rdr1 and don't plan to either. Also, anyone any idea what happens to Micah, Dutch and the rest of the gang?
