Maybe the PSVR got its first killer app in the form of Wipeout VR. Saw the reviews of the VR patch last week and everyone's absolutely loving it.

In this game I'm stuck at the beginning of Chapter 8. I'm trying to level my party to at least 50s before attempting the chapter (Currently they are in the beginning 40s). Also watching TV shows while waiting for my coffers to fill up. Any tips on fast character level ups? What level were you when you did the last chapter before facing the final boss?
Exactly the same situation I was in. Did as many side-quests/errands as I could. Also, went to areas with Level 50-55 monsters to defeat them. Some of the deserts and some areas around Ding Dong Dell.
Also, tainted monsters. There were some I had skipped initially because I had a lower level and would obviously get owned by them. But after reaching the early 40s-level, I would take on those tainted monsters upto level 45 to 47'ish. They give a good amount of XP.
Use the tactic-tweaker before every battle if you have to, depending on the type of enemy for maximum damage. Use the research options at the Kingmaker's building to get more HP and MP orbs during a battle to make it easier. Also, IIRC, I think there's also a building that has a research to be done, that gives you more Exp. during battles. Some weapons have a gain more Exp. benefit. See if you can use those.
I did all of that and reached Level 49 and initiated Chapter 9. Currently at the beginning of Chapter 9. I'm thinking of getting to Level 60, first before fighting the final boss. Let's see.
Haven't read the spoilers by Keano, so not sure of any shortcuts.

About Taker, I genuinely hope he is a no-show. And yes, I'm a fan of his.
Roman, well meh!
Shinsuke vs Styles should be a 5-star match. I want Shinsuke to win, but even if Styles wins, it's good.
I want Miz to be the longest-reigning IC Champion. But, with his daughter being born now, I guess, a break would make sense for him, personally. Let's see.

My TV has a Prime Video app. So, that is how I watch it. Apart from the PS4/phone app.

Don't forget to spend time in your kingdom. Upgrades will help you massively throughout the game. From side quests to errands to fights.
After completing a chapter, make sure to complete some sides/errands/monsters too. Always check quest book for a level requirement. The game also has book for everything under help section. Can track tainted monsters and everything.
If you forgot what monster belongs to what category, you can find it under help. This is useful for tweaking tactics menu.
For skirmishes, feel free to get MIGHT before the battle.
Last, upgrade. Upgrade. Upgrade everything. Buildings, weapons, armour, even Higgledies.
Pretty much how I'm playing it, at the moment. Except the tainted monsters part. Don't have the guts to go against them after my first experience.
However, since I've leveled up significantly compared to the initial stage of the game, I guess I'll give it a try.
Also, haven't seen the video above, but this does seem easier compared to the first game.
Finished Chapter 5, BTW. About to start Chapter 6 now.
Also, love the fact that when you level up and end up going to an area which is already explored, the lower level monsters don't even charge at you. So, you get the freedom whether you want to engage then in combat or not. Neat touch.

Hadn't seen it earlier. Saw it today. It's a strictly okay movie. Felt a little draggy towards the middle. A decent one-time watch, for sure. Not "awful", certainly.

Just started Chapter 5. Cannot seem to put down the controller at all (sadly it's time to sleep). It's been a really really long time that I've played a game that has me engrossed so much.

And going by Joe's post above, it's only gonna get better.

Agree with this. That was the case for me too. However, I think, it's supoosed to be easy at that point.
Went head-on against a Level 22 monster who was bound by the evil spirit (you will come across those in the game, if you haven't already) and got my sh*t handed to me.
Also, the Tactic Tweaker is so cool.
And yeah, I'm fine with the L1 too. And I'm using Japanese voices, so I'm not hearing the "Excuse Me" that you guys are talking about.

Just saw the last episode of DBS.
What an ending! Superb.
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire episode.
And now, Sunday mornings will not be the same again.

That Alexa thing has happened to me quite a few times. While watching some tech videos on YT, someone on TV says "OK Google" and my phone lights up, ready to hear the next command. Funny.
